About this ebook
My dream of going to college was well in sight until life served me lemons. I lost my job. Guess who tried making lemonades? Tiana Unstoppable White. One job as a waitress, a spilled glass of wine, and a bathroom episode was all it took to get me into the Cloover mansion as a domestic staff. All was hunky dory until I was caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
It was either loyalty or love.

arry Styles' Watermelon Sugar
blares from my earbuds as I work my third and last job for the day. As my tradition at work is, I had stuck the earbuds into my ears the moment my supervisor showed me where I was going to clean and make spotless,
in her words. Unlike Harry Styles' song, today is a chilly spring night that has me cleaning the floor faster so I can get home and climb into the comfort of my bed. The moment I'm done, I put away the supplies and change out of my work clothes. I take a deep breath as I walk out of the changing room to the supervisor's office. My twenty-two-year-old heart begins to beat at a faster pace, and my palms become sweaty. Excitement and anticipation do a slow tap dance beneath the surface as I knock on the door softly and walk in.

With my dad in a wheelchair due to an accident he was involved in years ago and my mom working menial jobs, it's almost impossible to take care of my siblings and me. I calculate the amount of money I have saved over time and smile at how far I have come. I climb my bike and plug in my earbuds. As if on cue, Macklemore's Glorious
starts to play. The rhythm and lyrics wash over me as tears of joy stream down my cheeks. There's only one way to describe how I feel at the moment. Glorious.
I jump off my bike and walk down the pathway leading to the front door. After leaning my bike on
