About this ebook

In 2016, I was sleeping one night when I had a dream. I saw myself in a dream walking down a street. I saw a light which was on me and which illuminated all around me. Then I heard a voice telling me: ''Your justice does not depend on you''.

At that time I was very young, a young preacher and teacher in the Pentecostal church. I could not know that God was speaking to me about my mission to preach his justice to the nations and to be a light in my generation.

This dream was preceded by a vision I had in 2013. I was a member of a prayer group at the Church of Pentecost. We used to meet behind the church to pray. One night while we were praying, I was praying in tongues. I had been saying the same thing for a few minutes in tongues, when suddenly I saw above me, an open bible and a great light sprang from one of the pages of the bible.

I knew since this evening that God opened my mind to understand his word and to be able to teach it to multitudes. So as you read the writings of this book, do not think these are the thoughts of a man but take it as the word of God as a teaching from God through his Holy Spirit to edify and perfect you in Jesus Christ.

You are blessed to be able to read this book. May this edify you.

I have not found it necessary to add personal testimonies and experiences of what is taught in this book, although I have thousands of experiences of the word of God to date.

May you have your own testimony and your own experience without trying to live the experience of someone other than yourself.

I ask God, to give you his Spirit of wisdom and revelation to understand and relay the knowledge of God in this book in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Yearn For The Gifts Of The Holy Spirit - David Abdoul Azize Aikou

1-  The Spirit of truth, another comforter.

If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another comforter, that he may dwell with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. point ; but you know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you. John 14:15-18 KJV

They are someone who speaks out for you and joins you in everything you do to help you succeed.

He is the one who stands with you in the days of sorrow and suffering and who supports you in the trials and who exerts all his strength and power to help you emerge victoriously. He is a person who takes his wealth and potential and puts it at your disposal to help you do things that were impossible for you.

The comforter is also the one who plays the role of advocate, supervisor or steward but also that of friend and adviser according to the need you have.

He is the one who brings you the knowledge you need when you need it. He is your guardian when no one is there to protect you.

He brings the gospel message of Jesus into your heart continually to remind you of what Jesus has done for you so that you may derive continual comfort. He is the one who dispenses the good graces and blessings of God in your life. He gives your heart the love, peace and joy you need. He provides your intelligence with the knowledge and wisdom you need. The comforter is the friend present at all times. He is like the faithful and lovable brother at all times.

The comforter does not accuse but he restores hope. He brings joy and peace where quarrels and strife once reigned. It gives strength to forgive things that seem unforgivable.

The comforter is the Lord present at all times and everywhere. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of God, there is freedom.

God speaks to us through his Son who is the word of God made flesh. And the Father and the Son speak by the Spirit. Therefore let him who hears the voice of the Spirit not harden his heart. Let those who have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Spirit of God is God's channel of communication among men. It is he through whom God and his Son speak to men and interact with them and through them. He unveils the truth to men.

The Holy Spirit is the manifest presence and voice of God among those who believe in Jesus Christ. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, receives it, because it is a gift from God, granted to all who believe in Jesus Christ, by faith, without distinction.

The Spirit of God is in his sons, in those who believe in Jesus Christ.

The various manifestations of the Spirit were poured out by the Lord Jesus on his people to enable men and women to have supernatural abilities to effect change on the earth. These are gifts that God has made to the church and to men by his grace, which allow a man or a woman to bring solutions to the problems in his environment.

2- The Spirit of God is God's promise to all men

After that, I will pour out my Spirit on every man; says the Lord God of hosts. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, Your old men will have dreams, And your young men will see visions. Even on servants and on maidservants, In those days I will pour out my Spirit. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, fire, and pillars of smoke; The sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the day of the Lord, That great and terrible day. Then whoever calls on the name of the Lord of all hosts will be saved. Salvation will be in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and among the redeemed whom the Lord shall call. Joel 2:28-32 KJV

This promise dates from the time of the prophet Joel and was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2 v 1-36. It is therefore no longer a promise, it is a present and perpetual reality fulfilled in Jesus Christ. God poured out his Spirit through his Son Jesus, and all who believe in Jesus Christ are qualified by faith, and receive him. It is freely given through faith in Jesus Christ. The God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, grants us his Spirit freely by his grace, to all those who have believed in Jesus Christ, without distinction, without taking into account our obedience to the law. Galatians 3 v 1-2.

The gift of the Holy Spirit is for all men and Jesus did not exclude any man or any woman.

All the prophets testify of him that whoever believes in him receives forgiveness of his sins in his name. As Peter still spoke these words, the Holy Spirit descended on all who heard the word. All the faithful Jews and circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and glorifying God. Then Peter said: Can we refuse the water of baptism to those who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Whereupon they begged him to stay with them for a few days. Acts 10:43-48 KJV

This man told us how he had seen in his house the angel presenting himself to him and saying: Send to Joppa , and bring Simon, surnamed Peter, who will tell you things by which you will be saved, you and all your house. When I began to speak, the Holy Spirit descended on them, as on us at the beginning. And I remembered this word of the Lord: John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Now, since God granted them the same gift as to us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, could I, myself, oppose God? Acts 11:13 - 17

3- The Holy Spirit: rivers of living waters

Jesus compared the Holy Spirit to rivers of living water that flow from the Spirit of man into eternity. He invited all those who are thirsty to come and drink this water for free. Jesus of Nazareth is the one who received his Spirit from God and poured it out. Every man who believes in Jesus is justified by faith to receive the Holy Spirit.

Indeed, Jesus died once for all men and for all women, and on the third day he was raised alive from the dead , he made atonement for sins once for all by the offering of his blood.

If anyone wants to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, he just has to come in faith to the rivers of life to drink of the water of life.

John 7:37 - On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from his bosom, as the scripture says. He says this of the Spirit which those who believed in him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet poured out, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Jesus said if anyone is thirsty come to me. It is to Him that we must go. It is of him that it is written that he will baptize his people with the Holy Spirit and with fire. It is from the true God that all who believe in Jesus Christ receive this water of life which never dries up into eternity. Jesus said whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from within him. Faith is the only requirement. Believing in Jesus Christ, believing that the true God brought him back from death to life by raising him from the dead.

It is by faith that every man is justified. It does not depend on the works of the law, it is a gift of God by his grace. Romans 3 v 28.

It is by faith that every man is justified, that is, made able and worthy to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as a pledge of redemption and adoption into the family of the true God and Holy.

The gift of the Spirit of God to every man is no longer a promise, it is a thing accomplished. The Spirit of God is in the world, but the world cannot receive it because it does not know it and does not see it.

Jesus Christ inaugurated a new covenant, by his blood. By this covenant God our Father declares righteous and worthy all who receive his word and who believe in Jesus Christ.

God removed the veil which separated men from his sanctuary which is in heaven through the body of Jesus which he offered as a ransom on his cross. He broke down the dividing wall that existed between the things of earth and the things of heaven. All who believe in Jesus Christ therefore have free access to the Father in heaven through the blood of Jesus. This allows the Holy Spirit to manifest freely on earth among the saints.

4- The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life.

Jesus said to him: I am the return to life from the dead and the living. He who believes in me will live, even if he were dead; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? John 11:25-26 KJV

God raised him alive from the dead, delivering him from the bonds of death, because death could not hold him. Acts 2:24 KJV

Jesus Christ is the life that was manifested among men. He is the true source of life. He is the good shepherd who offered his own life for his sheep. Those who will believe in Him have life and have it abundantly.

The Holy Spirit puts men in possession of the abundant life that is in Jesus Christ. He is like rivers of living water flowing from the minds of those who believe in Jesus Christ into eternity.

The first Adam became a living soul. But Jesus, the last Adam became a quickening Spirit.

Those who believe in Jesus Christ have eternal life in his name. Those who believe that he is the Christ, the Son of the living God, have life in his name.

Life flows abundantly from the Spirit of God to the spirit of man and from the spirit of man into eternity.

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus to life from the dead dwells in you, he who raised the living Christ from the dead will also quicken your dying body by his indwelling Spirit. In you. Romans 8:11.

I have been set free from the law of sin and death by the law of the Spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus. Romans 8 v 2 .

The Spirit of God works by a law different from the laws that work among men. This law is in Jesus Christ, it is the law of life and it sets free from sin and death.

The life of God is eternal. By his Spirit God makes men participate in the abundance of his life, giving them access to eternity. The life of God in man emanates from his Spirit and every man is qualified by faith to receive this life in the name of Jesus.

There is a day of return to life for all the dead at the end of days, when your mortal body will be clothed with immortality and incorruption. Jesus Christ triumphed over death in order to manifest life and immortality. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

5- Jesus had to be raised first in glory.

However, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but, if I go away, I will send it to you. John 16:7 KJV

His ascent of Jesus into the heavens was really important for the
