- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I don't read fantasy books very often. However, I picked up this book because I wanted to learn why the sword Excalibur would have a Pendragon. Parker Wilson wrapped the story of a teenaged boy trying to figure out who he is, around the story of a world at peril from evil forces that were unknown to the world at large. The best part of the book is where the teenaged boy decides who he wants to become and given the powers he has inherited, how to become that person. Along the way there is plenty of action and drama to keep the reader turning the pages in anticipation of what is going to happen next. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series.
