The Road to Happiness is Made of Small Steps: The Story of Stella, the Snail Who Learned to Believe in Herself and Face Life's Challenges with Courage and Determination
Once upon a time, there was a small snail named Stella. Stella was a very shy and insecure snail who often felt sad and lonely because she thought she wasn't fast enough, strong enough, or brave enough. Her shyness made her a bit isolated from the other animals in the forest, who often ignored her or considered her an insignificant creature.
One day, while climbing a leaf to reach a tasty morsel, Stella met a small caterpillar named Bruno. Bruno was a very cheerful and sociable caterpillar who loved making friends with all the animals in the forest.
Good morning, Stella!
said Bruno. How nice to see you. How are you today?
Not very well,
replied Stella, lowering her eyes. I feel sad because it seems to me that I'm not good at anything.
But no, Stella!
exclaimed Bruno. You are a wonderful snail, with a splendid shell and a unique personality. You shouldn't compare yourself to the other animals, you should learn to believe in yourself and value your qualities.
Stella felt a little better after Bruno's words, but she knew that it wouldn't be easy to change her negative mindset. However, she decided to try to listen to her friend's advice and to try to improve herself.
She began to take small steps to become more self-confident. She started moving faster, exploring new places, and making friends with other animals in the forest. In this way, she learned to know herself better, her abilities and her limits.
One day, Stella decided to participate in the forest animal race. The race involved a series of obstacles to overcome, including a long climb and a river to cross. Stella was very frightened, but she decided to try anyway.
During the race, Stella encountered many difficulties. Sometimes she stumbled, other times she felt tired and discouraged. But every time she fell, she got up and kept running. She never gave up in the face of difficulties and continued to push herself to the limit.
Suddenly, Stella realized she had fallen behind the other animals. But instead of giving up, she decided to use her inner strength to overcome the obstacles and reach the finish line.
To everyone's great surprise, Stella managed to overcome all the obstacles and win the race. All the animals in the forest applauded her and complimented her on her tenacity and courage.
Congratulations, Stella!
said Bruno. You have shown yourself to be an extraordinary snail, capable of overcoming every difficulty and believing in yourself. You have been an example for all of us!
Stella felt very happy and proud of herself. She realized that the road to happiness was made of small steps, efforts, and determination. But above all, she realized that it was important to believe in oneself and value one's qualities.
From that day on, Stella became a more self-confident and happier snail. She continued to strive to improve herself and make friends with the animals in the forest, sharing her experience and her new way of seeing life.
But not everything was always easy for Stella. Although she had learned to believe in herself, she still encountered challenges and difficulties along the way. Once, for example, she met a very arrogant snail named Carlotta who mocked and insulted her for her appearance and slowness.
Stella felt very hurt by Carlotta's words but decided not to let herself be beaten down. Instead, she decided to talk to her and try to understand why she acted so arrogantly. She discovered that Carlotta was very insecure and tried to cover up her vulnerability with arrogance and bullying.
Stella decided to help Carlotta, showing her that true strength lies in accepting oneself for who one is and valuing one's qualities. She told her about her own experience and difficulties and encouraged her to believe in herself and try to improve herself with small steps.
Over time, Carlotta began to change. She realized that bullying and arrogance were getting her nowhere and that it was important to learn to accept herself for who she was. She began to make friends with the other animals in the forest and to appreciate their qualities. And so, Carlotta became a more self-confident and happier snail.
Stella was very happy to have helped Carlotta and to have made her understand the importance of believing in oneself and valuing one's qualities. She realized that her experience could be an example for the other
