About this ebook

For years, battles have been fought on the lands of Galmoran between the forces of Darkness and Light. Then, one day, darkness will begin to win a battle that has been fought for many of years. The evil Queen’s Dark Army will wage a war that would shift the balance between Good and Evil. This war would change the course of life for as we know it.

Darkness had began to spread throughout all the land. Many people from different parts of Galmoron had to find their way from the darkness of evil. They were being consumed by the dark creatures. These dark creatures would eliminate all within their path. However, just like Darkness, light would soon find its way.

The story of the Shesha moon prophecy would begin to echo from the highest mountains into the pit of every valley. The story travelled from city to city, from village to village. It was a story of hope, a story of a prophecy so strong it gave strength to every man, woman and child to fight in a war in which all hope had been lost.

The Shesha Kingdom - Garnet Stone

    Chapter 1

    Escape the Warlock

In a time when demons, black magic, and evil had destroyed the world, they spoke of a prophecy. A half-breed would be born. Half man, half dragon with the ability to move like the wind Stronger than a thousand oxen and could see in the darkest of nights. They said he could even breathe fire. They told stories of how he shall rise and lead us into great battles to destroy the darkness from the land and restore good to humanity. They call him the Aagney, the Warrior born from fire.

For thousands of years it has been told, that evil would find its way from its darkness to the surface of the light. In which the dark place it came, but somehow good would find a way to conquer the evil that plagued their lands. For more than twenty years, darkness was winning an unremitting battle. A battle where they had lost many lives, and many cities laid in ruins; the people and other creatures had to become invisible to survive. The evil spirit’s dark army was consuming the lands; destroying everything that came in their path.

Yet the stories continued of how light would soon find its way. A story of hope, a story so strong that parents would tell it to their children and grandchildren. This story was passed down from generation to generation. They told a tale of a night a moon would appear; not just any moon, a moon so powerful that it would change the balance of good and evil forever.

The children would sit in their village around a burning fire to hear the story of hope and the man born from fire. The elders sat with the children on many nights and told them of the Aagney prophecy, of the man that was half dragon and the oracle warrior that fought to defeat the darkness to unite the kingdoms again and the story of the Shesha moon.

There was a small village by the name of Mora they once hid from the darkness. It was across the mountains of Kadom and past the Whispering Woods. In the village lived a woman named Alina. Once she was married to a great wizard by the name of Druce, the wise, Alina was as beautiful as a sunrise. Her hair was the color of ginger and it flowed down her back like a waterfall; her eyes were as green as an emerald, and her voice was as soft as a bed of feathers.

Some would say Alina was wiser than her late husband, Druce. She was only thirty-five, carrying Druce’s unborn child when he was killed in the battle of Roka, at the age of fifty-two. In the battle, Druce fought alongside four other wizards; Draigh the dragon, Douglas the willing, Zobus the earth and the strongest wizard of them all, was Osran the keeper of light. Also fighting by their side was a white spirit by the name of Lilura; the placer of time.

They fought in epic battles to defeat the evil spirit and her dark army and placed the dark spirit Daevas in captivity for eternity. However, sometimes eternity does not mean forever when you’re dealing with the forces of darkness or light.

In that battle, two of the five wizards were lost forever. They poisoned Douglas with a dark dagger the evil spirits made. The sword turned Douglas’s heart black as coal, and he turned into a dark wizard that destroyed many lives with no remorse, his soul forever lost. Druce lost his life, and the beautiful white spirit Lilura was also killed. When it came to beauty, Alina didn’t carry the burden by herself, the Great Spirit Lilura was also a breath of fresh air.

Lilura hair was white as snow, and it draped across her shoulders like a silk cloth. Her eyes were a crystal blue that shined like the stars at night. Her voice was strong as a dragon’s fire but as calm as a pleasant sea. They said she was over a thousand years of age and was the one that gave the great wizards their powers. Lilura created the fairies that helped protect the lands and an oracle child. Not just any child, an unborn child that would change the balance of good and evil as we know it.

Not long after the battle of Roka and the loss of Alina’s husband, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She named her child Daijon. The three wizards did not wish for the child to stay with them; for if evil found them, they would find the child and the Aagney prophecy would be lost forever. So, the wizards gave Alina and her son Daijon a protector. Her name was Mohini; a fairy made by the late spirit Lilura. Mohini could change her appearance so she appeared human and carried limited powers that could fight off the darkness if they were to find them.

Mohini wasn’t tall at all but was very wise and powerful. She was the first of the fairies created. Mohini stood barely five feet in height, and her hair and eyes were the color of an autumn leaf. She was not like the other fairies; she was much stronger and faster since the wizards’ spell enhanced her powers. Osran and the other four wizards had strengthened her so she could protect Daijon from the evil. Daijon would be a part of the prophecy; he would embark on long journeys and fight in great battles to rid the evil from the lands.

As the years passed, evil became stronger. The dark spirit, Daevas, spread across the lands as they consumed more people. However, darkness wasn’t the only one becoming stronger, for Daijon also became stronger. His dreams would come to life, and his visions shook the trees. At the age of ten, Mohini thought it was time to teach Daijon how to fight; she taught him everything she knew about the dark creatures, and as he became stronger, she trained him with weapons. She taught him how to use the weapons and protect himself from the smallest of swords to the longest of spears. As his body grew, so did his appetite for combat. By the time of his eighteenth birthday, he stood six feet in height, but he was still only a young man and had a lot to learn about the journey he was destined for. One night, he was having a dream so violent that it shook their home and awakened Alina from her sleep.

As she walked into Daijon’s room, she could see him tossing and turning; sweat pouring from his body. She quickly woke him from his sleep. Are you alright, my son? she asked as his chest rose rapidly with his quickened breaths.

Daijon gaze darted around the room in fear before looking back at his mother. "I am fine, Mother. It was just a
