At 17 he had a private pilots licence, at 18 a commercial pilot's licence and a year later, aged 19, he made international headlines as the youngest person to circumnavigate the world solo in a single-engine plane and achieve his dream.
Now with his feet firmly planted on the ground, Ryan is planning to travel Australia inspiring young people to follow their dreams both in, and beyond, aviation.
