The Not So Wild Adventures
()
About this ebook
A trip to the fairground is filled with adventure, intrigue, and delicious treats when three best friends allow their collective imaginations to run wild.
Join Eugene the rainbow-loving unicorn, his stuffed frog Larry, and their main monkey Murray, as they brave their many “not so wild” adventures.
However, it’s not all fun and games as our heroes must keep a watchful eye on the horizon as that evil one-eyed elephant pirate, Captain Red Boots, or any one of his many malicious minions, could lurk around any corner.
Johnathan Freeman
Johnathan Freeman years ago became one with his inner unicorn. A unicorn with a deep love for rainbows and unbridled imagination. His book, The Not So Wild Adventures therefore could, and maybe should, be considered an autobiography. When he’s not out frolicking in deep green meadows and encouraging others to become one with their own inner unicorn, you can find him surrounded by his wife and three kids whilst constantly throwing the ball for Ruby, the family sheep-a-doodle.

I would like to acknowledge rainbows, cool breezes, blue skies, and butterflies for their collective inspiration for this book. I am forever grateful.
Eugene awoke to a full symphony of birds in chorus, performing just outside his window. Throwing back his covers and launching from bed, he raced over, pausing ever so slightly to admire his favorite rainbow print curtains, and then threw them open wide to welcome this brand-new day. He leaned what seemed an impossible distance out his window, so far you would have thought he would tumble headfirst into the lovingly maintained flowerbeds below at any moment. Eugene, with eyes wide and body precariously perched on the windowsill, marveled at the beautiful blue of the sky, the perfect puffiness of the passing clouds, the brilliant green of the grass and the majestic grace of the tall trees. Home to the marvels performing that magical melody that had welcomed him to this perfect day. Smiling, he closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath. Spring was in the air and it flooded his nose with the sweetest smells the day had to offer and expanded his lungs almost to bursting with crisp clean air. Air that he immediately repurposed to bellow the greatest good morning this world had ever heard. Well, at least since this same time yesterday. The day before yesterday. Okay, the day before the day before yesterday, and well, you get the idea. Eugene loved mornings. Truth be told, Eugene loved just about everything. He loved Rainbows for example, always with a capital R. He loved windows, both with and without curtains. He loved throwing back covers and launching from beds early in the morning and he absolutely adored birds in chorus. He loved harmoniously humming honeybees and making lists that listed all the many things that he loved. But what he loved most,
