Young Laren's decision to accept a ride from the stranger changes the course of many lives. This graphic drama isn't for the faint of heart as it unravels the thematic issues of drugs, sexual violence, death, and mental illness.

    "CADILLAC CLOCK" takes the reader into the police station where Janet Morgan, a freshman in college, and the newbie in the neighborhood, is being interrogated for murder. The interrogating officer listens carefully for a motive as Janet tells her story, but everyone has motives, even law-abiding cops.

    Lori F. Thomasson is a spoken word artist and novelist in Atlanta, GA. She earned her BFA in Creative Writing at Full Sail University. Finding her voice through the spoken word helped her to reclaim her first love of writing. Some of Thomasson's poetry is featured on SoundCloud under her artist name, Malia Etana Asalé, translated Queen Strong One Speak.She’s self-published two books, Filling the Cracks in My Head and Do One Thing: The 30-Day Plan for Getting Unstuck and Living Your Purpose. Although Thomasson’s sweet spot is inspirational non-fiction, she has a flair for fantasy and psychological thrillers. She is working on her third book, Soul Therapy, a creative self-help book using coloring, journaling, meditation, and affirmations to discover love and freedom. Thomasson proves that trauma does not have to define a person’s destiny. “I was born to write," says Thomasson. "My stories give all the people who live in my head a voice.”
