About this ebook
Gabe Rispoli Jr.
I grew up with a dad that was a great storyteller, and ended up like him in that respect. Having grown up in the 60’s affected me for life. That vibe imprinted into my brain like a memory you never forget. Writing at this stage of my life is a great way to get things out that you want to share with people, aside from entertaining them with a story. If you look real-close, you can connect so many dots within the history of mankind that are common in concepts and beliefs, yet people get so lost killing each other over the details that they cannot see the dots. If you follow this story through the four volumes of “The First Book of Gabriel”, I will take you on a wild ride following the dots from ancient times to today. In the end, what you take away from it, is all that counts.

CB, Gary, and my Cousin Debbie
Charles browning, also known as CB, was acknowledged in the Novel The First Book of Gabriel - Seeker of the Light
as my shaman, and half the inspiration for Peter. The half that’s the smooth talker that always gets the girl. In Book two, the family lawyer for Gabriel is modeled after CB, and called Mr. Charles Browning. Now, aside from being the best of friends for the last 50 years, CB has always supported & touted my photography work, my music, and now representing my writing, I don’t think I could be in better hands.
Gary Martin, also known as Gary, needs to be acknowledged for all the copy editing he has helped me with on this screenplay. Always making my writing more polished, which is what a professional copy editor does. Gary does more than that, as he is a novelist himself working on his first novel. We met in 1986 at Operation Sail’s Salute to Liberty. It was the 4th of July celebration for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We worked in Battery Park, NY City, erecting and dismantling thousands of bleacher seats over that summer, and became the best of friends for life.
My dedication page is to my cousin Debbie, but these two individuals, CB and Gary needed to be acknowledged for the way they both stepped up to help me when my cousin Debbie passed. CB picked up where Debbie left off pointing out my mistakes. Gary edited on a different level concerning proper structure among other things like an English professor might. They both helped immensely. Debbie was the only one I worked with on my first novel. She was my closest female cousin and also accompanied me as my assistant during the 70’s & early 80’s when I shot photos at Rock Concerts. She even jump-started my music collection when she let me borrow her 45-record-collection she brought to my house in 1966 when I was 10 years old. That was the beginning of wanting to get every record Debbie had in her box. I continued to build a massive record collection of my own. I still have the records all in mint condition because I never let anyone touch them but myself. When I think about how Debbie trusted me with her record collection it blows me away. Debby worked with me daily for two years helping to get the first book published. Then she helped in half of the second books first round of editing before her untimely passing. With all my Love, may she RIP.

SCENE 1
DREAM SEQUENCE - EXT. THE DESERT – DAY
Our scene opens in Jordan, with an Aerial Shot of the Desert in North-East Petra. It’s High Noon; a mild wind is blowing across the sand obscuring footprints that track up and down the dunes. We follow the footprints up to Gabriel, who is standing on the top of a dune. We circle him and see he is dehydrated; his shoulder length hair is matted to his head from sweat. Some reflections of light catch his eye from the bottom of the dune. He approaches the light and sees the sun is reflecting off an abundance of rifle ammo casings. There are little bits and pieces of bloody body parts scattered in the sand. Gabriel sees a dog tag sticking out of the sand. He shifts his weight to his front foot and reaches down, to pick it up. He leans forward, and triggers a hidden trap door beneath the sand. He falls through the sand and disappears from sight. The trap door closes and blends in with
