We will discuss the hard facts and how you can wiggle through times of difficulties. God allows temptations because they are necessary for the development of your soul. Just as the physical body lifts weights to gain muscles and become stronger, the soul uses temptations to deepen our relationship with God. 

     

    Unfortunately, so many people today, including those who claim to be Christians, do not seem to be paying enough attention to the temptations that they are growing through in their lives. They also fail to realize that the spiritual life is a life of adventure. Temptations are one of the common obstacles in this adventure, and you ought to use them for your own spiritual development and training. 

     

    In our spiritual life, we shall face countless and various kinds of temptations. We can also expect to face the kinds of temptations that we would rather not face because they seem to be too powerful for us. Just remember that the darker the temptation is and the experience of it, the bigger is the potential for the soul to grow. Do not be afraid and do not worry because Jesus is with you. Use every temptation that you face to deepen and strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. By doing this, you can turn every temptation into a blessing, and you can enjoy living a truly spiritual life.
