About this ebook
After a serious traffic accident, Iris finds herself alone and badly injured in the middle of the forest.
About to die, she is found by ... Dominick ... an angel of the shadows who will seal her fate forever ...
"Intrigue, that's what I feel next to him.
He hides something and I think that's what makes him so mysterious and irresistible to me. His fair complexion and his eyes, those strange and piercing eyes, leave me in awe every time we meet.
"There is something you should know Iris," he said calmly.
- There are many things that I should know Dominick .- I said angrily .- As for example what you have done to my neck.
He nodded and walked over to where I was on the bed, climbed up and came to the center, where I was sitting.
With his right hand he gently brushed my hair aside to see the bite.
Meanwhile I turned my head to the opposite side, I felt intimidated, self-conscious, I knew that I had blushed and did not want him to see it.
- It will heal soon, maybe in 2 or 3 days ...- he said, and paused to sit in front of me
I stopped avoiding his gaze and finally looked into his eyes.
- What have you done to me Dominick? .- I asked with tears in my eyes.
He looked back at me.
- You didn't pay attention in the hunter's museum, did you? .- he said.
Surprised, I nodded.
- Yes I did.
He laughed wryly.
"Didn't they tell you the story of the evil beast in the forest?" I nodded.
He came dangerously close to me, making me realize his impressive height.
He dragged my body down, leaving me lying under him.
I yelped in surprise.
- Shhh ... in order to understand what is happening, you must first know what happened.- he said hoarsely and taking advantage of my distraction, he separated my two legs to place himself between them.
I moaned slightly when I noticed how he pressed. I enjoyed the strange and pleasant feeling
- I must warn you that the beast loves to chase its prey, tempt it ... punish it ... but above all, give it pleasure … "

INTO THE FOREST
We were driving along a narrow curving road surrounded by the leaves and vines of huge trees. Some banged on my window pane occasionally and then slid across it as if it were a silent warning advising us to leave the road. The interior of the bus was unbearably hot and the air conditioning button on my seat was out of order. I took off the thick wool sweater that I was wearing, staying with a tank top and rested my head on my best friend's shoulder, exhaling strongly. You liked hiking, spending the afternoons in the country, bathing in the river, walk through the forest and especially get away from our small town. Escaping the harsh reality that had become my life in recent months will be the only thing keeping me sane. That afternoon was the last we spent in the small rural town where we had stayed for several days as part of the summer activity. According to our guide, the only attraction in town was considered legendary. The hunting museum. If it could really be considered a museum, it was old and lost in the middle of nowhere, and by nowhere I meant the immense gorge forest that surrounded it. Robust and gigantic trees, so dense that it was penalized by the law to enter a coma since whoever got lost in the labyrinth of trees never found the exit. During the nights we spent in the hotel, we heard chilling noises coming from its depths. Howls, screams similar to those of a human suffering terrible agony, grunts and what sometimes seemed like whispers that invited us to explore that place. It was a disturbing experience, which is why I regretted begging my best friend to accompany me on this trip. The reason for the trip was that we had to investigate the legends and mythology that the town: from the witches to the strange alchemists of The Middle Ages investigated the forest believing that it possessed magical properties, gnome-like creatures and even demons that the locals claimed to have seen in that place. However, I chose the most famous and fascinating legend of the town, The Legend of the Beast. The most brutal and explicit and the only legend considered true by the majority of the inhabitants of the town. Its events date back to when nobles and peasants lived in that place centuries ago, it tells that a werewolf massacred dozens of soldiers to kidnap a young woman noble. In the museum there was an exhibition in which they showed us what, according to them, were the real evidence of the macabre event. A silver dagger covered in dried blood that looked more like rust than the blood of a werewolf, an armor shattered by monstrous claws, a red cloak torn and stained by the young woman's supposed virgin blood ... tells that a werewolf massacred dozens of soldiers to kidnap a young noblewoman. I turned my thoughts away from the bloody detail to pay attention to the lively conversation between my friend and one of our classmates.- Do you think the legend is real or that the museum is just a circus attraction for high schools and tourists? - I spoke without thinking too much to enter their conversation.
- Why couldn't it be real? There are testimonies of werewolf sightings from multiple civilizations around the world, I would not be surprised if it was real in this town. Perhaps the exhibition is a bit shabby but it resembles all the stories there are.- Alice, my partner, addressed me while cleaning her glasses with a handkerchief.- It is true that these stories are part of a culture and have a teaching but it would be foolish to rule out that werewolves could exist. There are many unexplored places, this forest, for example.9
I nodded at his words along with my friend .- It's true. In addition, I looked for you not only is it the largest in the country but it is forbidden to enter it and it is a natural reserve in which nobody has wanted to build.- My best friend surprised me with her words.- Anyway, whatever Whether he lives in there, he is some kind of beast, werewolf or not. And even so, the legend does not sound so bad, it is much more like an erotic story than you think.- With the imagination that you have, everything is an erotic story. I wonder what your limits were, blonde. I hit her with my elbow and she blew me a kiss.
You're sick, Anna.9
Our two conversations did not last long because the heat and the heavy of the trip will not help us to distract ourselves too much. All of us on the bus are dedicated to observing our overwhelming exterior.- What do you want to do when we arrive? I've been thinking of looking for a cheap apartment near the beach to go out for a few days in August, go to a nightclub and have an ice cream breakfast every day. You sign up, right?9
I couldn't answer my friend. The words didn't come out of my mouth as I noticed how the bus was sliding sideways rapidly, moving in an exaggerated way and hitting the side of the mountain that bordered the road. Much shouted, I felt a hand clinging to mine desperately, Anna. But he couldn't, just close his eyes and squeeze her hand, waiting for the nightmare to end.
The heavy impact propelled the bus towards the edge of the gorge and in that moment, when we were suspended in the air, I knew what would happen.19
We plunged into the void. I don't know how long it took me to regain consciousness and open my eyes. I felt the most intense pain I had ever experienced in my life, from head to toe, I didn't know if I would be able to move my neck. I had to get off the bus, I had to call for help. When the dizziness subsided and my vision began to clear, I could see that the window on my side was shattered and there was enough room for me to crawl out. The belt was still buckled so I slid my bloody hand across the floor to deactivate it.
I ignored the pain as I crawled across the floor covered in blood and glass as well as the shattered remains of the bus. It felt like my muscles were compressed, I could barely breathe as I walked through the window. When I was far enough from the bus I flopped down on the wet grass, its cold soothing the intense burning of my wounds.
I looked at the sky above me, I knew that soon I wanted the night for its golden hue and its reddish clouds. I tried to breathe deeply but was unable, instead, anxiety filled my lungs and I let the tears slide down my face. He had succumbed to fear.
Everyone else was on the bus. No one else had been able to get out. I looked for my best friend among the remains of the disaster but I could not ... I could not distinguish her body among the others. He did not know if it was his body that he saw in the blood.6
- Please help. - I did not know to whom my plea was directed.
My body could not bear the pain and my mind was not capable of assuming what had just happened. The last thing I remember of that fateful day was the sensation of ascension, as something hard and warm clung to my body, isolating it from the cold.
HIS WARMTH
––––––––
A delicious sensation of warmth enveloped my body. It was so nice, so comfortable, and so easy to indulge in her. It was like going to bed after a hard day's work. I was not aware of it but my body knew it was safe.2
When I woke up, the first thing that came to mind was the crushing pain in my chest. Something was compressing my lungs and making every time I breathe I felt an uncomfortable pain. When I touched my chest for pain, I felt bandages surrounding my abdomen.103
And then I remembered. Dozens of images flooded my mind, painful, sharp as knives. The last one made me realize that wherever I was, it wasn't my bed, nor was it a hospital gurney.49
My eyes snapped open, exalted. Someone had wrapped a blanket of fur around me to protect me from the cold. I sat up on the huge bed they had placed me on but that movement made my ribs ache and I couldn't help but curse under my breath. It was as if someone had put my body through a shredder, my muscles were sore and they were thinking too much for me.27
Although my stomach was queasy and my head felt throbbing, I made an effort to look around.29
I was in a spacious but cozy room, everything inside was made of dark fir wood. From the walls to the floor and the furniture. On either side of the bed were two nightstands on which candles of different sizes burned, illuminating the room dimly but with great warmth. On the table to my right were scissors and numerous pieces of bandage, some of them stained with blood.twenty-one
My blood.fifty
I pushed the blanket aside to sit on the edge of the bed. I realized then that apart from the bandages, I was not wearing anything except my underwear. I must have wounds all over my body. And it was true, I had bandages along my legs and arms, some stained with blood.71
I saw a black sweater lying at the foot of the bed next to a pair of loose pants. Whoever took care of me should have left my clothes there for me so I took the sweater to try to put it on but the squeak of a door surprised me.
By instinct, the first thing I did was take the blanket and cover myself with it8
When the door opened, a huge figure entered through it. He was a tall man, with hard features, accentuated by the shadow cast by the candles on his skin. The moment he saw me sitting on the bed he rushed to my side, alarmed.329
He knelt in front of me.251
Quiet.
His voice was hoarse and serious. I can't allow you to try to walk in your condition.
614
I forgot how to breathe. His eyes were beautiful, golden as the sun itself, of such an intense hue that they seemed to glow in the dark. Her jaw seemed to be made of marble and her short hair was as black as the night itself, I was sure it was as smooth and silky as I was imagining.278
Are you okay?
She had to contain herself to suppress a smile, it was obvious that I had lost myself in her gaze. You have hit your head, you must be ... confused.
294
I didn't know what to say when he reached out one of his muscular arms to touch my forehead with great care, only daring to touch my temple with his fingers. I had not realized that part of my head had been bandaged. I must have looked horrified because he softened his hardened expression in that instant.6
It is not serious and it will not leave a mark either.
He moved away from me at that moment.100
She wasn't sure what to tell him. The blow that I hit on the head had to be very strong to have left me speechless.16
Thank you,
I stammered awkwardly. Was it you who...?
47
- Yes. - This time he outlined a discreet smile.7
I nodded, it had really saved my life.1
I let out a groan of pain as I touched my chest and a stabbing pain shot from my head to my spine. Followed by both, a strong dizziness took over my body and I lost control, collapsing on the bed. I felt like my heart was about to explode.48
Take them off, they squeeze me,
I begged him.178
The bandages compress on my lungs, I was choking. He needed to breathe and couldn't think of anything else at the moment.48
He leaned over me, a strange expression adorning his face, between torture and worry. As if he doesn't want to touch me more than necessary.358
He pulled the blanket away from my body. The bandages covered from my breasts to the end of my ribs but did not prevent me from looking at my body as if I had just seen a forbidden treasure. Look that I did not notice.158
Please.- I begged again, the pain increasing by the moment.
3
He came dangerously close, inspecting the bandages and loosening them in different places. Thanks to its speed, the pain became more tolerable and the pressure gradually disappeared.1
I filled my lungs with air, relieved but without realizing it breathed in his aroma, he smelled forest, attractive, hypnotic and inexplicable.169
Slowly, I began to fall asleep. Maybe because he smelled so irresistibly good, the exhaustion the pain had unleashed on my body, or the fact that he had laid down next to me to calm me down. He placed me against his chest and I instantly relaxed when one of his hands stroked my hair.165
Sitsa ler ann sash,
he whispered softly.725

HOME
––––––––
I don't know how much time had passed, I was torn between sleep and consciousness.118
Get up, creature, you must eat,
he said near my ear.343
His voice was still soft, but more defined.1
-No...120
He stood up and carried me again. I growl slightly against my head.2
We're going to have a great time, little sash. *
He said, before taking me out of the room.550
I clung to his neck, breathing in his scent as he walked down the hall, still dizzy and unable to focus on anything other than his heartbeat.217
We stopped and he opened a wooden door, I tried to get out of his grip but he stopped me. Freeze, sash, I don't want you unconscious in the middle of the hall.
310
I started to laugh slightly and I could see how he outlined a half smile as he walked.298
We enter a beautiful wooden living room lit by a gigantic fireplace. There were windows through which you could see the forest, I noticed the strange color that the glass had, as if it were a black filter.139
He left me on a sofa in front of the fireplace and put a blanket over me.fifteen
-What are you looking at sash? .- He asked me pulling me out of my bubble.240
I turned my gaze to him, his golden eyes seemed to glow in the fireplace light while the fire shadowed his harsh features.60
We looked at each other for a few seconds that seemed eternal in which he took the opportunity to caress my cheek causing numerous chills throughout my body.196
His touch was like velvet, intoxicating and addictive.1
- Dammit...263
I heard him and whisper as he walked away from me and headed towards the kitchen. I heard him breathe hard as he picked up some boxes and jars that seemed to contain herbs.364
Notice his movements, agile and well planned, his remarkably muscular body.
Hunter
I was still in the chair, in the same position in which he had placed me while I continued to observe him.70
Something that I could notice, apart from his big back, was the way he looked. A kind of domination and security that I have never seen from a man .-
