Giving Into The Gay Knight - Sage Rowina

     Giving Into The Gay Knight

    By Sage Rowina

Sir Edmund stood guard atop the castle ramparts, scanning the crowd below. It was a slow day, and he found himself getting lost in his thoughts. He couldn't help but feel like something was missing from his life, something he couldn't quite put his finger on.

Suddenly, he saw someone in the crowd who caught his attention. It was a mysterious man, dressed in dark clothing and a hooded cloak that covered most of his face. Sir Edmund felt his heart skip a beat as their eyes met.

He discreetly glanced around to make sure no one was watching him, then made his way down to the courtyard. He followed the man, keeping a safe distance behind him as he navigated the bustling crowd.

Finally, the man entered a tavern on the outskirts of town. Sir Edmund hesitated for a moment before gathering his courage and following him inside.

The tavern was dimly lit, but Sir Edmund could make out the man's silhouette sitting at a table in the corner. He took a deep breath and approached him.

May I join you? Sir Edmund asked, forcing his voice to sound steady.

The man looked up, surprised. Of course, he responded, gesturing for Sir Edmund to take a seat across from him.

They sat in silence for a moment, sizing each other up. Finally, the man spoke.

I've seen you around the castle, he said. You're one of the knights, aren't you?

Sir Edmund nodded, relieved that the man seemed friendly. Yes, I am. Sir Edmund.

The man smiled. Tobias. It's nice to make your acquaintance.

They chatted for a while, swapping stories and sharing their love of adventure and chivalry. Sir Edmund couldn't help but feel drawn to Tobias, and he wondered if he was reading too much into their connection.

As they talked, the tavern grew louder and more rowdy. Suddenly, a group of rough-looking men burst through the door, brandishing weapons.

There was a split-second of chaos as everyone scrambled for cover. Sir Edmund stood up, drawing his sword.

Stay behind me, he instructed Tobias, putting himself between the men and his newfound friend.

The men laughed and taunted Sir Edmund, but he stood his ground. He was outnumbered, but he refused to back down.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang as the tavern door burst open again. A group of knights had arrived, come to Sir Edmund's aid. In the confusion, Tobias slipped away unnoticed.

As they helped Sir Edmund clear out the remaining bandits, he couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment. He had lost his chance to get to know Tobias better, and he wondered if he would ever see him again.

Days turned into weeks, and Sir Edmund found himself constantly thinking about Tobias. He had to see him again, but he didn't know how.

Little did he know, fate had other plans in store for him.

Sir Edmund stood at his post by the castle gates, his eyes scanning the crowd for any sign of the mysterious man he had met the night before. He couldn't stop thinking about him and the instant connection they had shared. He couldn't even remember the last time he had felt such a strong attraction to someone, let alone a man.

As the sun began to set, Sir Edmund's heart sank. It seemed that Tobias was not going to make an appearance. But just as he was about to give up hope, he spotted a familiar figure making his way towards the castle gates.

Sir Edmund, Tobias called out as he approached. How goes your post?

Sir Edmund's heart skipped a beat at the sound of Tobias's voice. Just fine, he managed to reply. And how are you?

I'm doing well, Tobias said. I'm actually on my way out of town but wanted to say goodbye before I left.

    Sir Edmund's heart sank at
