DEDICATION
Words TO Live By are biblically based principles inspired by God. I am grateful for the ability to expound on the Word of God in such a way that makes it easy to understand God’s plan for our lives. I dedicate this book to my Husband and children, who have all played a major role in my faith walk.
Our daily walk through the Word affords us the opportunity to become one with the Spirit of God. I started learning about Christ at a very early age, not realizing what a major impact He would have on my life; however, as I grew older and older, I came to know Him in a real and personal way, and as a result, I am able to spread the good news to people in every walk of life.
Inspiration and Motivation are key components to Spiritual growth, and it is my sincere prayer that as you read through the pages of this book, you will be inspired to dig deeper into the Word of God, where you’re sure to find peace that surpasses your understanding, joy unspeakable and contentment in whatever state you’re in.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee

INTRODUCTION
Inspiration for this book is a continuation of my previous books. God inspired, I felt compelled to continue spreading the good news of the gospel. Nothing can compare to knowing that there is hope for whatever situation you might find yourself in.
I’m determined to do all that I can, while I can, all for the cause of Christ, so that when my life is over, I will have done the will of God. I feel so blessed to have been given such an awesome responsibility.
PART I
PRAYER IS THE KEY
And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray and not faint.
—Luke 18:1
How many of you know the importance of prayer, and how it impacts each of our lives? I believe that it’s safe to say that prayer means different things to different people, but at the end of the day, we must all come to the realization that prayer is our direct connection, communication, with Jesus Christ, who is our mediator.
Prayer is an act of communicating with God, such as confession, praise, petition or thanksgiving; it’s a specially worded form, used in addressing God. One of the most important aspects of prayer, is that as we pray, we are mindful of who we are praying to, and the purpose for which we are praying. God wants to hear from us, and he is ready, willing and able to fulfill our every need, desires, and wants.
Every one of God’s children needs to know that God will hear their individual prayer, however there are some who feel that they don’t know how to pray, or that God will not hear their prayer, but let me encourage you, and let you know that yes he does hear you, and yes, he will answer. The answer might not always be what we want to hear, but rest assured that God knows what’s best for us, and he always meets us at our greatest point of need.
Even if the only thing you can say is, Lord help me, or Lord have mercy, Lord I thank you, Lord make a way, or Lord save my children, believe it or not, you have just prayed. Whenever or however you approach God, gives him the opportunity to come to your rescue. Some people say short meaningful prayers, while others can pray for long periods of time. Either way, I believe that God will hear every word, and as long as we believe that he hears us, things will work according to his will.
When the word says that we’re to pray without ceasing according to I Thessalonians 5:17, it doesn’t mean that we have to constantly be on our knees, but rather, that we be in a state of readiness, able to connect with the Father at any given time, knowing that he hears us. I John 5:14 says, and this
