About this ebook

The Philosophy of Dare, the Daring Philosophy, is all about being willing to take risks, to rise to challenges, to leave behind comfort zones and safe spaces, and seek out storms and wildernesses and mountaintops and all extreme, daring environments. One must always escape mediocrity, and wherever the mediocre congregate. Mediocrity is the original sin. The mediocre are the opposite of the daring.

Danton said, “We must dare, and dare again, and go on daring!” Machiavelli said, “Never was anything great achieved without danger.” Andre Gide said, “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.”

The daring don’t stand around. They’re active, proactive, the people doing things, making things happen, shaking things up. They’re not the reactive masses, those that love to sit and wait for Godot. Godot isn’t coming. Haven’t you heard?

William Makepeace Thackeray said, “Let the man who has to make his fortune in life remember this maxim. Attacking is his only secret. Dare, and the world always yields: or, if it beat you sometimes, dare again, and it will succumb.”

The attackers always have the initiative. The world reacts to them. The daring decide the agenda. They force the issue. They are the organ grinders. Everyone else dances to the tune of the daring ones.

“Who Dares Wins” is the motto of the Special Air Service, Britain’s elite special forces unit.

Theodore Roosevelt said, “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”

The mediocrities avoid conflict. They duck out. They bale out. They opt out. They don’t want to exert themselves. Too much effort.

Are you afraid of losing it all? Then you are not one of the daring. Goethe said, “Rest not. Life is sweeping by; go and dare before you die. Something mighty and sublime, leave behind to conquer time.” The daring are absolutely committed to leaving behind the mighty and sublime. They are the only ones who conquer time. They are the immortals.

The great French revolutionary Saint-Just said, “Dare! – this word contains all the politics of our revolution.”

Will you risk it all? Do you dare?

The Philosophy of Dare, the Daring Philosophy, is all about being willing to take risks, rise to challenges, leave behind comfort zones and safe spaces, and seek out storms and wildernesses and mountaintops, and all extreme, daring environments. Danton said, We must dare, and dare again, and go on daring! Machiavelli said, Never was anything great achieved without danger. Andre Gide said, Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.

The daring don’t stand around. They’re active, proactive, the people doing things, making things happen, shaking things up. They’re not the reactive masses, those that love to sit and wait for Godot. Godot isn’t coming. Haven’t you heard?

William Makepeace Thackeray said, Let the man who has to make his fortune in life remember this maxim. Attacking is his only secret. Dare, and the world always yields: or, if it beat you sometimes, dare again, and it will succumb.

The attackers always hold the initiative. The world reacts to them. The daring decide the agenda. They force the issue. They are the organ grinders. Everyone else dances to the tune of the daring ones.

Who Dares Wins is the motto of the Special Air Service, Britain’s elite special forces unit.

Theodore Roosevelt said, Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.

The mediocrities avoid conflict. They duck out. They bale out. They opt out. They don’t want to exert themselves. Too much effort.

Dale Carnegie said, The world owes its progress to the men who have dared, and you must dare to speak the effective word that is in your heart to speak – for often it requires courage to utter a single sentence.

The mediocre are never brave. Courage is not for them. It would bring them out in spots. The very thought of it makes them feverish.

Goethe said, Daring ideas are like chessmen moved forward. They may be beaten, but they may start a winning game.

The daring are the ones with the daring ideas. Mediocrities have mediocre ideas. They can’t help themselves. It’s their nature.

Lyman Frank Baum, creator of The Wizard of Oz, said, Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.

The darers are the dreamers, the questers. They’re always searching for the Holy Grail. Only they can ever get near the Philosopher’s Stone.

James Levesque said, Dreams will take you to places you have never before imagined. Dreams are the language of hope for leaders. Those who do not dare to dream have ‘died,’ although their funeral will not take place for many years!

The mediocrities are all dead inside. Their dreams never got off the launchpad. Failure to launch.

Lord Byron said, Those who will not reason are bigots, those who cannot are fools, and those who dare not are slaves.

The mediocre are slaves. Life happens to them. They never exert any control over life. They just submit to the Meat Grinder, and get turned into sausages … the blandest, most tasteless ones.

Dale Carnegie said, Take a chance! All life is a chance. The man who goes farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.

Why do you think you will go anywhere if you don’t dare? How will you manage it? Do you think life rolls out the red carpet for the undaring? He who doesn’t dare loses. That’s the law.

    Courage, mon brave.

Seneca said, It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.

Without the daring, everything is impossible. The daring drive evolution. They are the force of change, of the metamorphosis of humanity.

Lester B. Pearson said, Failures are made only by those who fail to dare, not by those who dare to fail.

Ah, daring to fail. That’s what the mediocrities cannot endure.

Eugene F. Ware said, All glory comes from daring to begin.

To begin anything is to dare. Without the daring, without their capacity to dare, nothing happens.

Nietzsche said of the pitiful, At least they still have one power, in spite of all their weakness, the power to hurt.

Never be on the side of the pathetic, the pitiful, the pointless. Always dare. Dare to be great.

Catherine Pulsifer said, You will never get ahead by playing it safe all the time. Sometimes you have to break the rules, you have to dare.

The mediocrities are mediocre because they always play it safe. Risk-taking is not for them. They’re always in the safe zone, in the box. Groupthink is their constant refuge.

J Bruce Barton said, Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside them was superior to circumstances.

The daring always think they can triumph over the circumstances; they can rise above all hurdles; they will overcome every resistance. Even failure is just another stimulus to the daring. John Fitzgerald Kennedy said, Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly.

Imagine a whole world following the Philosophy of Dare. We could dare everything. We could be as the gods. Daring was always the name of their game. It’s the divine game.

Never play it safe. Dale Carnegie said, The person who goes farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore.

The mediocre always crowd into the sure-thing boat, and it always sinks … into the morass of averageness. Banality and blandness infect everything they do and are.

The daring are always the outspoken ones. Michel de Montaigne said, I speak the truth not so much as I would, but as much as I dare, and I dare a little more as I grow older.

The young are supposed to be the daring ones, but in fact they are the most conformist and other-directed of all.

Abraham Lincoln said, It often requires more courage to dare to do right than to fear to do wrong.

The mediocre masses always fear saying or doing the wrong thing. Woke cancel culture is all about making people terrified of defying political correctness. Anti-Woke culture is about being brave enough to dare to do right, to stand up to the howling mob pushing you off the platform.

Are you afraid of losing it all? Then you are not one of the daring. Goethe said, Rest not. Life is sweeping by; go and dare before you die. Something mighty and sublime, leave behind to conquer time.

The daring are absolutely committed to bequeathing mighty and sublime things. They are the only ones who conquer time. They are the immortals.

    What Bloody Man Is That?

So, you want to be a genius? On the one hand, being a genius is much easier than you might suspect. On the other hand, you are much more likely to be laughed at than hailed as a genius.

Here’s a quick tip for you if you want to play the genius game. Take an idea from any field and then apply it to all fields. Here’s an example for you. Take the concept of the Overton window. Wikipedia says, The Overton window is the range of policies politically acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time. It is also known as the window of discourse. The term is named after American policy analyst Joseph P. Overton, who stated that an idea’s political viability depends mainly on whether it falls within this range, rather than on politicians’ individual preferences. According to Overton, the window frames the range of policies that a politician can recommend without appearing too extreme to gain or keep public office given the climate of public opinion at that time.

So, the Overton window is applied in the political sphere, but, really, isn’t the same argument applicable to all spheres?

Let’s play the Glass Bead Game, the game of astonishing connections that the mediocre can never see and never make. We shall take a quotation by Schopenhauer that seems to have nothing to do with the Overton window and then see if we can make a connection between the two and thus arrive at a vital point, a great new insight.

The Schopenhauer quote is: All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Do you see that Schopenhauer’s statement is actually just the same as the concept underlying the Overton window? It’s about the truth starting outside the Overton window and being mocked, then fighting to get into the Overton window and being aggressively resisted, then being accepted into the Overton window and consequently treated as common sense.

Everything that is in any Overton window was once outside the Overton window. In fact, once upon a time, there was no Overton window, and ideas had to fight to establish the human Overton window.

Think of the books that comprise the Bible. Certain books were admitted and constitute the Biblical Overton window, while other books, which could have gone in, were kept out, hence are outside the Biblical worldview. Who took these decisions, and would the same decisions be taken today? If the Bible were being assembled today, would the process of text selection occur entirely differently, leading to a completely different Bible, such as a Woke Bible?

All Overton windows are in fact radically unstable and can be savagely deconstructed. You could kick out every currently accepted Biblical book from the Biblical Overton window and replace all of these books with those previously rejected, thus creating an entirely new Biblical Overton window that totally contradicts the previous one. And what would be wrong with that? Why shouldn’t we do exactly this?

To propose such a thing would put you outside the current Biblical Overton window, and you would be mocked. But if you tried hard and made good arguments, many people might start taking the idea seriously. Then a war could break out between the supporters of the old Biblical Overton window and the new Biblical Overton window. If the latter view triumphed, it would become the common sense, accepted Biblical Overton window, i.e., the truth of the Bible would now be wholly different since it would be associated with entirely different texts, repudiating all the previous texts.

Do you see how the Overton window is itself just a construct? There’s nothing definitive about it. Every Overton window – every set of accepted opinions about any subject – is wholly arbitrary and could easily be replaced by a totally different Overton window.

When someone states a new truth, it is automatically outside the Overton window of truths acceptable to the human race – because no one has ever heard of it before. Every genius by definition stands outside the Overton window of acceptable opinions when they first introduce their big new idea, their new truth. Because of that, they are ridiculed and mocked. Their idea is crazy. If their idea nevertheless starts gaining traction and threatening the powers-that-be – i.e., it is forcing its way into the Overton window and starting to become an acceptable idea – then it is violently resisted by those who will be displaced by it. After a struggle, the idea is either expelled from the Overton window and again becomes unacceptable (heresy, blasphemy, apostasy, the voice of the infidel), or becomes entrenched and is now an acceptable part of the Overton window. It is treated as self-evident and is taught in schools. It seems like something that has always been known to be true – because it is now accepted and respectable and the authorities back it. Yet the reality is that it had to go through a vicious fight to be accepted and there was a time when many people laughed at it. Its victory was by no means assured and once upon a time no one thought it was self-evident. Anything but.

The fact that a new truth makes its way into the Overton window of acceptable truths doesn’t make it true. Nietzsche said, Success has always been the greatest liar. Most people accept something as true if it is associated with apparent success, but apparent success can hide enormous fallacies. Given that all successful religions make completely contradictory claims, they can’t all be true. In fact, all of them could be (and are) false. Success isn’t a synonym for truth, and what people accept as right doesn’t make it right. Things succeed not because they are true but because they meet some human want or need, or even some seductive human delusion or fantasy.

The Christian Overton window overlaps to a degree with the Jewish Overton window (although Gnostic Christians rejected all things Jewish), while Islam tried to create an Overton window that included both Christianity and Judaism while superseding both (although all Christians and Jews completely exclude Islam from their respective Overton windows).

To what degree does Abrahamism’s Overton window overlap with Eastern mysticism’s Overton window? Not at all! Mainstream Western and Eastern religions do not intersect. However, some Western esoteric religions and systems such as theosophy and New Ageism strongly overlap with Eastern mysticism’s Overton window.

New Age guru Ken Wilber’s Integral system sought to create an Overton window that included everything. The whole point of extreme liberalism’s all paths and all truths doctrine is to establish an Overton window which embraces all beliefs, although nothing in this Overton window would make any sense since everything would contradict everything else.

We can talk about different Overton windows for each of Jung’s four mental functions of thinking, feeling, sensing and intuiting.

Feeling types have an opposite Overton window from thinking types. The Overton Window for feeling types is all about love and light, unconditional love, love is all, oceanic bliss, love is truth, God is love, love is the answer to everything". All of these statements would be rejected outright and instantly by the Overton window for thinking types. These statements are all appeals to emotion, not to reason and logic, hence can form no part of the Overton window committed to rationalism.

The Overton window for Protestant faith revolves around Martin Luther’s assertion that reason is the Devil’s whore and Protestants are justified solely by their faith. No rationalist would ever agree with Protestantism. It’s the opposite of rationalism. Even Catholicism has a much greater affinity with rationalism than Protestantism does. Much of serious Catholic theology revolves around high-level Greek philosophy and is infinitely intellectually superior to scriptural Protestantism where Protestants try to persuade you by laboriously, and highly selectively, quoting from the Bible, hardly a work of intellectual repute.

The scientific Overton window will accept only those assertions compatible with the paradigm of materialism and empiricism, with the senses and observations. Everything else is paradigmatically excluded by science and can never feature in its Overton window. Nobel laureate Max Planck said, A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. Planck recognized that science’s Overton window is highly arbitrary, ideological and dogmatic, and if you replaced current scientists with a new set of scientists with a different worldview, science would then have a totally different Overton window of acceptable scientific opinions.

Wikipedia says, Non-overlapping magisteria (NOMA) is the view, advocated by Stephen Jay Gould, that science and religion each represent different areas of inquiry, fact vs. values, so there is a difference between the ‘nets’ over which they have ‘a legitimate magisterium, or domain of teaching authority’, and the two domains do not overlap.

This is basically a statement that the Overton windows of science and religion cannot overlap since they do not address the same types of things.

Eastern mysticism and New Ageism have an Overton window revolving around nonduality, bare awareness, cosmic consciousness, and so on, and all such states are supposedly reached by way of mystical intuition, shamanism, meditation, mindfulness, DMT, etc. Very little of that Overton window connects with anything else.

There are certain fields in which new truths can be accepted extremely rapidly. For example, if a scientist makes a new prediction and that prediction is borne out, the scientist will receive a Nobel Prize and their new idea will become part of mainstream science.

Science is in many ways a reflection of all the Nobel Prizes it awards. That’s its functional Overton window. If any scientist makes a prediction that cannot be tested, or not easily, then the Overton window slams shut in their face. They are outside science’s Overton window and will seem a bit of a crank unless their idea meets with some kind of success and is vindicated. The trouble for such people is that another quote from Schopenhauer applies: Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see. This is the exact problem that confronts all true geniuses, all visionaries. Their genius is so far beyond the Overton windows of everyone else that it would take centuries or even millennia for others to understand them.

Humanity’s greatest genius is arguably Leibniz, someone more or less unknown to the average person. Leibniz died over three hundred years ago and humanity still has no clue just how critical his work is to the future of humanity. He was way ahead of his time.

Why does ontological mathematics meet with so much resistance despite being the most rational and logical solution to existence rationally and logically possible? It’s because mathematics is treated as an abstraction by mainstream culture, as a manmade language, and so is not deemed to have any relevance to reality at all. This places it outside the Overton window of all mainstream systems, whether scientific, philosophical, religious or spiritual.

Ontological mathematics is literally an idea so revolutionary that it breaks every window. Only the smartest people on earth can get ontological mathematics. If you can in any way relate to ontological mathematics, while not being a member of some silly, social media cult led by a grifter Influencer, then you should congratulate yourself. It means that you are one of the incredibly rare people on earth with a mind that can go beyond all previous systems, and get the view from outside any restrictive Overton window. It means that you have a godlike mind, able to transcend all human systems. But the drawback is that you yourself are outside the Overton window of what is acceptable to the mediocre minds of the human race. You are one of the Special Ones, the exceptional, but in a world based on what is average and unexceptional, you will find life a constant struggle. No one understands you. No one recognizes your talents, your potential – because these themselves are way outside the normal range.

Human life revolves around Overton windows in all the different subjects: religion, philosophy, spirituality, science, politics, economics, history, and so on. Many contradictory Overton windows sit in uneasy coexistence with each other. People learn to engage in Orwellian doublethink by which they adopt various Overton windows that contradict each other but nevertheless allow them to rub along within society. For example, every scientific materialist ought to be 100% opposed to Christianity since no part of the Christian message has any connection to materialism, but, as it turns out, quite a few scientists are Christians. It obviously suits them to belong to two different Overton Windows which do not overlap and can never overlap, and which, paradigmatically, can never be compatible with each other.

Normal life is all about subjecting you to multiple Overton windows. Trouble begins as soon as Overton windows come into overt conflict. For example, the conservative Overton window cannot accommodate the liberal Overton window. The conservative Overton window is about restricting what is acceptable in society, about othering certain groups and excluding them from society. The liberal Overton window is about expanding what is acceptable in society, about embracing the Other and including all marginalized groups, all the groups excluded by the conservatives.

A society functions while its Overton windows roughly fit together. When they are too divergent, a society starts to fall apart. Look at the USA. The conservative Overton window is now defined by its exclusion of the rival liberal Overton window.

It’s not the Game of Thrones, it’s the Game of Overton windows, but it’s every bit as vicious and deadly.

Humanity needs new Overton windows. But that’s the hardest thing. People don’t like changing what they are familiar with. And getting anything from outside the Overton windows accepted into the Overton windows is the hardest game of all.

Humanity is not a truth species. It’s an Overton window species, and these Overton windows are incredibly dubious. Humanity has never worked out how to create robust Overton windows. Any amount of garbage can be accepted. Billions of people accept as part of their Overton window the insane claim that the Creator of the Universe incarnated as a Jewish rabbi in the Middle East 2,000 years ago and was put to death by the Romans (the God killers!) for preaching love and peace and goodwill to all men. They don’t doubt this self-evidently demented claim. But if you say to them that reality is made of mathematics – the only claim consistent with a rational and logical reality of eternal and necessary laws – they roll about laughing and wondering how anyone could say such a dumb thing.

It’s astounding how damaging to human progress entrenched Overton windows are. It’s astounding how difficult it is to alter them. And it’s astounding how many really bad Overton windows – such as those of conservatism – exist, and how they are threatened by potentially even worse Overton windows, such as that of extreme liberalism and its lunatic all paths and all truths mantra whereby we must uncritically, non-judgmentally accept everything, no matter how deranged, destructive and degenerate. We must respect and tolerate every lie, every weirdo, every freak, because, according to extreme liberalism, it’s evil to exclude anyone, even those subverting and poisoning society; inclusion, we are told, must be extended to everyone, and anyone who says differently must be deplatformed and canceled. The sinister Woke cult of Hyperianism deplatforms and cancels anyone who disagrees with its leader, a self-evident pathological narcissist who preaches that exotic minorities (to one of which he himself belongs) are a master race, beyond humanity.

In the conservative worldview, extreme minorities must accept the majority viewpoints. In the worldview of extreme liberalism, majorities must bow to extreme minorities and the whole world must revolve around the tastes of extreme minorities, who must be accepted and respected unconditionally. This unconditional acceptance is supposed to be the absolute touchstone of enlightened society, as opposed to the sign that irrevocable endarkenment has overtaken humanity.

Overton windows are part of the Hegelian dialectic. Thesis and antithesis Overton windows clash and then a synthesis Overton window is constructed. But if we add Nietzschean will to power to the Hegelian dialectic, then everything becomes about who can exert maximum power, and everything else is irrelevant. All Overton windows are agents of power. They are wielded by the powerful.

The West is convulsed by a ludicrous pronouns war – this is what really matters to all extreme liberals – while China is building hypersonic weapons. Try demanding that the Chinese use your self-chosen pronouns. The Chinese aren’t listening to you, couldn’t care less what you think, and are about to trample all over you.

Any people that isn’t concerned with power is a lost people. Stalin once asked, in response to criticism from the pope, How many divisions does the pope have? The pope can moralize, sermonize and pontificate all he likes. All that matters in the end is who has the most and best divisions. Extreme liberals have never understood that moralizing can never defeat armies.

Whatever extreme liberals imagine the future is going to be like, you can be 100% sure it isn’t going to be like that. At the moment, the human future looks inescapably Chinese. Because the Chinese are the only ones who understand the reality of power, and deliberately ignore, or crush, the powerless and the agitators. China deplatformed and canceled all the extreme liberals and extreme individualists. You definitely wouldn’t want to stand in front of their hypersonic missiles and be armed only with your thoughts and prayers, your correct pronouns, and your moral insistence on inclusion for everyone.

The last people you would want to have in the trenches alongside you are the extreme liberals. You would have to surrender instantly.

    Peace, man.

Unconditional love rules. God is love!

    Namaste!!!

Yeah, fuck off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All hail China.

Here’s the thing about China. It’s where the working class actually won. They got rid of the super-rich elites. That’s why the West hates China so much. They detest the fact that the working class took over and were astoundingly successful. The West is entirely about entrusting power to the super-rich elites and treating the working class as scum … rather than the greatest power on earth.

    The Chinese knew better.

Anyone not on the side of the working class is an enemy of the people. If you are working class but campaign against the working class, you are a class traitor. The only valid political system is the one that puts working-class people in charge and serves the interests of working-class people. If your cause isn’t that of the working class then you are the enemy of the working class.

All cults are counter-revolutionary, bourgeois, and stand opposed to the people. All cults serve only the cult leader and his senior enablers. All cults must be ended.

    The Historical Juggernaut

It’s important to have a theory of history. A couple of the most important theories are those of Oswald Spengler and Arnold Toynbee. Here, we’re going to look at Toynbee’s theory. Toynbee’s defining idea is challenge and response. It means that all of us are faced with challenges and we all have to come up with responses. This applies to any State as much as any individual.

Imagine a collection of people that is not yet a coherent group but has the potential to become so. This is the situation where civilizations are born. Some loosely connected group finds itself confronted with an existential challenge. What does it do? How does it respond? According to Toynbee, a small group within the larger assembly come forward – Toynbee calls them the creative minority – and these people present a possible solution to the problem confronting the tribe. If their solution doesn’t work, the tribe scatters, or is overcome, or conquered, or perishes, or whatever. It has failed to rise to the challenge, and vanishes from the historical record.

A civilization is formed only when the creative minority successfully solves the big problem. Exactly because they solved the problem, these individuals then take the leadership roles in the new civilization and set its direction. Think of the Founding Fathers of America. They were faced with a huge challenge: decoupling from the British, their exceptionally powerful colonial masters. Their response was a Revolution and a subsequent Constitution that defined a new State and a new direction. America has been ruled by their original vision ever since, but the advent of Trumpism showed that the American Constitution is now failing, and America itself is failing too because its core idea has reached its end and is no longer fit for purpose in today’s world. China looks infinitely more fit for purpose.

China is a positive liberty united collective – a People. America is a negative liberty mere collection of individuals, all competing with each other to be top dog. That worked well in the past. It’s now a disaster and China can wipe the floor with America any time it likes.

America now constitutes a Population, not a People, i.e., it’s a bunch of people inhabiting a territory, but with very little in common. A People marches together, all in the same direction, with the same objectives. America cannot work out if it is conservative or liberal, and so has become a spinning top, always ready to fall over, but never going anywhere.

World power has switched from individualist America to collectivist China.

America’s response to the covid pandemic was catastrophic. Tens of millions refused to wear masks, they refused lockdowns, they refused testing, they refused vaccines, they claimed their individual rights were being infringed, they said the whole thing was a communist hoax, and so on. Result? – a warning from history regarding how not to respond to a deadly challenge. The pandemic was a challenge that America failed to rise to and it failed exactly because of its core libertarian ideology – its worldview of extreme individualism as the highest good. A pandemic needs a collectivist response. All collectivist states responded correctly to the virus. No individualist state did, and they all suffered economic collapse as a result.

America is now faced with the greatest challenge of all: redefining itself, creating a new idea of itself, responding entirely differently from how it has done in the past. Sadly, it appears that America lacks the capacity to meet the challenge, so deep-seated is its old idea of itself.

By complete contrast, Communist China went from being a genuinely Communist nation under Chairman Mao to a system of State Capitalism. It had the strength of will to completely redefine itself, and it succeeded spectacularly. You simply could never imagine the reverse process: right-wing America redefining itself as much more left-wing, much more collectivist. America is finished because of this. It can’t react to the new world it finds itself in any more than the British Empire could when it was faced with the exact same challenge of completely redefining itself.

What is the biggest obstacle to redefinition? Funnily enough, it’s the creative minority themselves. After many generations, the elite families of a society – those of the creative minority – become more and more degenerate and useless, living off inheritance rather than having any genuine creativity themselves and any capacity to solve problems. They are fully invested in all the systems that provide them with their wealth and power, and are terrified of changing these.

Why did Communist China manage to change? Exactly because it did not have long generations of elite families working against change. The communist revolution got rid of all that, creating the space for a new creative minority to come forward, which has now happened. It has not and will not happen in America – exactly because the American ruling elite will never permit it. America will fail just as Britain did and for exactly the same reason: the decadent, degenerate ruling class – long since exhausted of all creativity – refuses to leave the stage. Revolutions are needed to purge these parasites.

In Britain today, a failed monarchy and failed upper class still control everything, which is why Britain is now such a failed country and why it will soon break up thanks to Scottish independence, perhaps Welsh independence, and also the reunification of Ireland, leaving Little England as a bitter little right-wing nation dreaming of Making England Great Again but without any capacity to manage it because the failed ruling English elite are still in charge, with their pathetic, decrepit monarchy as the absolute symbol that England refuses to enter the modern age, always preferring nostalgia and sentimentality.

Arnold Toynbee said that the creative minority morphs into a pathetic, tyrannical, dominant minority. Wikipedia says, Toynbee does not see the breakdown of civilizations as caused by loss of control over the physical environment, by loss of control over the human environment, or by attacks from outside. Rather, it comes from the deterioration of the ‘Creative Minority’, which eventually ceases to be creative and degenerates into merely a ‘Dominant Minority’. He argues that creative minorities deteriorate due to a worship of their ‘former self,’ by which they become prideful and fail adequately to address the next challenge they face.

This is exactly what happened to Britain, and now it’s America’s fate too. America’s elite families are destroying it to serve their own interests, just as happened in Britain. The Dominant Minority sees its own interests as much more important than those of the nation, and that’s precisely why everything collapses.

You are a fool if you believe that Joe Biden will save America. We can already tell you what is going to happen – because it has already happened. The Obama-Biden ticket didn’t change America even though the whole point of Obama, the first African American president, was to bring about change. The Dominant Minority didn’t allow Obama to change anything, and nor will they allow the Biden-Harris ticket (an even more enfeebled version of Obama-Biden) to change anything. Just how idiotic would you have to be not to grasp this?

America’s Dominant Elite is now toxic to the interests of America, and these people are doing immense and irreversible damage to the American people.

The pandemic has exposed America once and for all. Yet the big con goes on. Eighty-one million people believe that everything is fine now because Trump is gone. Don’t make us laugh. The only thing that departed with Trump was his fascist rhetoric. Everything else remains exactly the same. The same elite that ruled over Trump rule over Biden, so nothing will change or can change. You have to change the system, not change the figurehead of the system.

China moved the dial via a revolution to get rid of the elite. Chairman Mao was a monster, yet, by getting rid of the former elite, he performed the vital and essential task of making room for a new creative minority, and the leaders of China in the last fifty years have proved so much more impressive than those of the West. These are real world-historic guys.

China is ruled by a Creative Minority, while the West is ruled by its degenerate opposite, the Dominant Minority, locked in place by inheritance and refusing to abandon its rigged system of privilege, nepotism and cronyism.

Until these people are gone, America will never find a solution to its immense problems. The No.1 task of America is to purge itself of the Dominant Elite, yet the American Dream is about becoming as rich as the Dominant Elite and joining them, thus America’s core definition, its core dream, is exactly what is fatal to it.

Toynbee’s theory is simple and brilliant. It shows exactly why civilizations fail. If people were taught this theory in school, they would all know what was happening to their country, and who to blame. But the last thing the Dominant Minority would ever allow to be taught in school is a theory showing that their overthrow is the solution to the country’s woes!

So, that’s why you get all the talk about communism, socialism, and fascism being thrown around by the American conservatives and liberals when the real problem is the Dominant Minority. Donald Trump was born into the Dominant Minority, while Mike Pence, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris have joined it by virtue of their jobs, which make them upholders of the Dominant Minority’s institutions of power. The only real difference between all of these people is their rhetoric and a few token policies here and there. Everything that actually matters goes on exactly as before.

Ever feel like you’ve been swindled?

    Ah well, so it goes.

The game is all about the inspirational Creative Minority that drives society forward versus the dictatorial Dominant Minority that holds society back in order to serve its own selfish interests.

While the creative minority succeeds in meeting challenges, they are accepted and revered by the general population. But as the creative minority starts to fail, the masses become discontented. The thing that most aggravates the masses is a loss of their standard of living and any feeling of insecurity. When this reaches a crisis situation, a violent revolution becomes inevitable.

After any disaster, you need a new creative minority with new solutions. But this never happens, except when revolutions occur. Typically, the old minority remains in charge and tries its same old solutions. When capitalism failed in 2008, who was asked to solve the problem? – the very same predatory capitalists who caused the crash in the first place! What did they change? Practically nothing. Who responded to the coronavirus crisis in the West? – the very same institutions that failed to be ready for it in the first place, unlike in the East where every nation was ready.

Einstein said, The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. It’s insane to go back to the same people who caused disasters to fix those disasters. You need whole new thinking. Einstein said, We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them. Yet that’s all that ever happens, i.e., staying at the same level of thinking. The existing institutions, controlled by the existing elite (the dominant minority), are always the ones that get to respond to the disasters they created, and they make everything worse and worse, until total ruin comes, or revolution, or twilight mediocrity (as we see with Britain when it lost its empire).

Toynbee argued that in primitive societies, the younger generation acquired its outlook and habits simply by imitating its dead ancestors. If it worked for them, it would surely work again, the young reasoned. This is how you end up with conservative, tradition-directed societies where people just keep repeating the ways of the past.

The Americans believe they have a modern country. They don’t. They are directed by a document (the Constitution) that’s hundreds of years old, conceived in an entirely different era. Only idiots believe it’s relevant today. Thomas Jefferson himself perfectly understood this. He wanted every generation to reinvent itself. This is one of the greatest ideas ever: having each generation create its own Constitution. The Constitution, Jefferson said, should expire every 19 years. He wrote, Every constitution, then, and every law, naturally expires at the end of nineteen years. If it be enforced longer, it is an act of force, and not of right. It may be said, that the succeeding generation exercising, in fact, the power of repeal, this leaves them as free as if the constitution or law had been expressly limited to nineteen years only. In the first place, this objection admits the right, in proposing an equivalent. But the power of repeal is not an equivalent. It might be, indeed, if every form of government were so perfectly contrived, that the will of the majority could always be obtained, fairly and without impediment. But this is true of no form. The people cannot assemble themselves; their representation is unequal and vicious. Various checks are opposed to every legislative proposition. Factions get possession of the public councils, bribery corrupts them, personal interests lead them astray from the general interests of their constituents; and other impediments arise, so as to prove to every practical man, that a law of limited duration is much more manageable than one which needs a repeal.

America never acted on Jefferson’s genius idea, not even Jefferson himself when he was the actual president. He knew he could never get away with it. Most Americans know nothing about Jefferson’s astounding proposal.

Jefferson had no time for the idea of modern conservative America that the Constitution is some immutable tablet of stone written or inspired by God for all the ages. He thought of it as a disposable document with a short expiry date. What a visionary!

Imagine you’re a smart young African American in Detroit. The system isn’t going to give you what you deserve. It’s the system of the Dominant Minority, and you’re not part of their gang.

Napoleon was one of the most remarkable men in history. Had it not been for the French Revolution – which got rid of the old elite and created room for new talent – Napoleon would never have risen above the rank of artillery officer in the French army. He would have served out a life where he never came to the world’s attention, despite having it within him to be one of the giants of history.

Talented people, whether the black guy in Detroit, or Napoleon, need the plates to spin the right way if their innate talent is ever to get a chance.

The plates did spin the right way for Napoleon, but they don’t for most people. Most talented people are held back by the system devised by the Dominant Elite to further this Elite’s own interests.

How do you give the talented a proper chance? How do you always keep the plates spinning in the right way? One way is by changing the game every 19 years, as Jefferson suggested. The meritocratic solution is to impose 100% inheritance tax to prevent any dynastic elites of wealth and power from ever forming in the first place.

It’s essential to always have a new Creative Minority coming to power, with their new ideas, and not always being stuck with the old Creative Elite, getting more and more ossified until they become a tyrannical Dominant Elite, refusing to leave the stage despite no longer having any clue at all, other than to cling to their enormous wealth and power.

What is the system of inheritance, privilege, nepotism and cronyism? It’s the means by which the Dominant Elite remain in place indefinitely. It’s how they pass on wealth and power from one generation to the next. How do you end this once and for all? – by 100% inheritance tax. It breaks the chain. What tax is most resisted and hated in the West? Surprise, surprise, it’s 100% inheritance tax. Wonder why?! Trump, a member of the inheritance Elite, campaigned for 0% inheritance tax – for the permanent rule of dynastic families such as the Trumps, in other words.

It’s astounding how many poor people, with nothing to inherit and nothing to pass on, are the most passionate advocates of abolishing inheritance tax, the very tax that brings the tyranny of the super-rich dynastic families to an end.

The poor are complicit in their own oppression. They suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. They are in love with their captors. At Trump’s fascist rallies, thousands of poor people shouted their love for one of the billionaires who have ruined their lives. It’s incredible.

If a civilization wants to remain vibrant, always making progress, it’s essential to allow new creatives to break through into the highest circles of power, but this is exactly what the Dominant Elite prevent from happening. They want all the power and wealth for themselves. They’re not going to share. New Creative Minorities want to do things differently, but the established elite want to keep all the old traditions and laws, all the old structures and institutions that prop them up. These are what have to be dismantled if the new creatives are to
