    The Two Forces

The most mind-boggling thing of all is the state that preceded the Big Bang.

Every secret of existence was present in its purest form in that state. Everything contained in today’s universe was perfectly fused together in that immaterial Singularity, outside space and time. The Big Bang – the Big Fission – split everything apart. The Big Crunch – the Big Fusion – will, in its turn, reverse the Big Bang and seamlessly connect everything together once again, ready for the next cosmic cycle.

All of reality is reflected in two forces: joining things together (fusion) and splitting things apart (fission). In a fusion nuclear reaction, nuclei combine. In a fission nuclear reaction, a nucleus splits into smaller nuclei.

The number zero is a fusion of all positive numbers and all negative numbers. If you split zero, all the positive numbers and all the negative numbers spill out.

Communists believe in a society where everyone is equal, a fusion society. Libertarians believe in a society where no one is equal, a fission society.

The ancient Greek philosopher Empedocles said that two forces – love and hate – govern the universe. Love fuses things together. Hate splits them apart.

In a foundation myth of ancient Egypt, the god Osiris was killed by his brother Set, and his body cut into many pieces and scattered across Egypt. His wife collected all of the dismembered parts together and then, with the help of Anubis, the god of embalming and funerary rites, and Thoth, the god of magic, she restored Osiris’s body to life. This is a creation myth based on fission – the god is torn apart – followed by fusion – the god is reassembled.

Dr. Frankenstein, the modern Thoth, the scientific Thoth, fused body parts of dead criminals together then animated the creature.

Human society is full of fusion forces that bring people together, and fission forces that break them apart. Fusion forces unite. Fission forces divide. We now live in a Fission Phase, with extreme polarization evident everywhere. There’s no sign of any Fusion Phase coming to the rescue any time soon.

Everything in the universe is either coming together or breaking apart. If you understand fusion and fission correctly, you understand how existence works.

Come inside and explore connection versus disconnection, union versus disunion, togetherness versus separation, order versus disorder, the whole versus the parts.

Are you ruled by fusion or fission? Do you tend to be a force that brings people together, or are you are force that likes to separate people? Do you like to raise people up or pull them down? Do you like to help others make things, or kick over what others have built? Are you constructive or destructive?

Trolls relish upsetting people and causing disunion. The pseudo-religion of Discordianism encourages its followers to worship the goddess Eris, aka Discordia, the goddess of disorder, strife and discord. Discordians love to cause trouble, to generate as much chaos as possible. They get off on it.

Many people feel empowered by being disruptive, uncooperative, and awkward. They are thrilled to make others miserable. Then there are others who preach love and light, unconditional love, and say that everyone is really One and that the appearance of the Many is just an illusion.

Wherever you go, in whatever aspect of life, you will encounter fusion and fission, and you will have to choose which to support. This book will help you to decide which decision you should take if you want to become a higher and more successful human being.
