INTRODUCTION
Apple Incorporated has launched the latest device that comes with exciting features. iPad users are in for a treat with this new technology from the stalls of one the technology giants in the industry. It can enable you to perform functions as if you are using a PC.
iPad Pro 2021 is the first iPad to come with 5G connectivity. It was launched in April 2021 and designed in two versions. These include the 11 inch model and 12.9 inch model. It is also designed with a new screen tech, which is a superlative upgrade in the series of Apple’s devices.
The device has a mini-LED display technology that functions with backlights. This feature enables you to enjoy a brighter screen with a clearer view. The introduction of this type of display feature will make other apple products adopt the mini-LED screen tech instead of the O-LED display.
Moreover, iPad Pro 2021 will feature an A14X chip that can enhance its performance more than the previous models. It also has a magic keyboard, which is the same with other generations of iPad.

This fifth generation of iPad comes with some superior features. These specifications distinguish the new design from previous generations. It features a striking upgrade from iPad Pro 2020.
Some of the great features of this new technological invention include 1. Processor – the processor includes an A14X chip that makes the device superior to others in the series. This is an M1 Apple silicon chip that is designed to make the system perform very fast.
2. Size – the size of this new iPad Pro 2021 involves two models, which are 11-inch and 12.9-inch.
3. 5G Connectivity – Apple iPad Pro is designed with AiP modules capable of powering mmWave 5G. The internet connectivity comes with two

4. Display – this device comes with a new display featuring a mini-LED
technology. This is an upgrade of display features with several micron LEDs organized in local dimming arenas making the device to show deeper blacks most times. The difference between mini-LED with O-LED is that O-Led has issues such as PWM – pulse width modulation, burn-in, smearing, constant brightness, and color shifting off axis.

5. Design – iPad Pro has a square design with thinner bezels. The firm no longer employs the Home button and Touch ID. This iPad Pro is light and slim with sleek edges. The size of the 11-inch model is 24.7 cm x 17.8 cm x 0.6 cm. Also, the size of the 12.9-inch model is 28 cm x 21.5 cm x 0.6 cm.
The weights of both phones are 473 gram for the smaller one and 643 gram for the bigger one respectively.
iPad Pro is designed with double speakers, one at the top and the other at the bottom. It also comes with thunderbolt connectors instead of USB-C cables.
6. Price – the price varies according to the models. The 12.9-inch model has
a price range beginning from $999 while the 11-inch model has a price range beginning from $799.
7. Camera – the front facing camera has 7 megapixels with 1080p HD
video that can record at 60 fps or 30 fps. Also, it has two rear cameras featuring 10 megapixels ultra-wide angled and 12 megapixels ultra-wide angle cameras. Both cameras come with 5x digital zoom and 2x optical zoom. Moreover, these cameras can be used for 4K video recording at 60 fps, 30 fps, and 24 fps respectively. These rear cameras also enable 720p HD
video at 30 fps.

Setting Up iPad Pro 2021
You can activate and set up your iPad Pro using an internet connection.
Another way is to connect it to your computer. But if you have a new device, you can transfer data to your new iPad Pro too.
Requirements for a Smooth set up process:
1. Have a Wi-Fi network for an internet connection. The name and password of the service provider is necessary.
2. You can also use Wi-Fi + Cellular models, a network carrier.
3. Get your Android device handy, if you are transferring contents from an Android system.
4. Create an Apple ID and password or enter your Apple ID and password.
5. Adding an account to Apple Pay during setup requires you to enter your credit or debit card details.
6. Get the previous backup device or system, if you want to transfer your information to a new iPad Pro.
Now, to switch on your iPad Pro 2021 and set it up, follow these procedures: a. Press down the upper button until the Apple logo is displayed.
b. To set up your device manually, follow the guidelines displayed on your window.
c. You can use Quick Start to set up your new iPad automatically if you have other devices such as iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone with iPadOS 13 and iOS 11 respectively.
d. Hold both the new and old devices together to begin the automatic setup process.
e. Follow the instructions shown on your screen to transfer the settings, iCloud Keychain, and preferences.
f. Use your iCloud backup to restore your contents and details to your new device.
g. Also, you can transfer your contents wirelessly from old devices to a new one, if both devices have iPad OS 13 or later versions including iOS 12.4.
h. Then, plug both devices into a power socket and place them close to each other.
i. Wait for some time until the migration process is over.
Ways to Update your New iPad
You can update your new iPad to the latest iPadOS or iOS using a PC or a wireless connection. But use iCloud or a PC to make a backup of your device before you start the update.
Here are ways to update your device with a wireless connectivity: a. Plug your iPad Pro into a power socket.
b. Connect your device to the network using a Wi-Fi connection.
c. Scroll to Settings.
d. Tap on the General Button and hit on Software update.
e. A menu will popup, click on Download & Install. You may get a message prompting to remove some apps if installing the software needs more space. Click on Continue or Cancel. If you tap on Continue, the software will reinstall any app it displaced during the installation process.
f. After downloading, click on the Install button, if you want to update it immediately. Also, you can select Later to install it a later time.
g. During this process, you may be asked for a passcode. Simply, enter your passcode.
If you want to update your device using a Pc, here are the ways to do it: a. Use a mac with macOS Catalina 10.15 and open Finder. Another way is to open iTunes on a Mac with macOS Mojave 10.14.
b. Link your device to your computer.
c. Tap on the General button or Settings button. The select Check for Update.
d. Tap on Download and Update.
e. Enter your passcode, if you are prompted.

You can update your iPad Pro with your PC in iTunes. Here are the processes:
1. Connect your iPad Pro to your PC.
2. Use a thunderbolt connector or USB, including USB-C cable. Another way to link your system to the PC is through Wi-Fi.
3. Simply, enable Wi-Fi synchronization or Wi-Fi syncing.
4. On your computer device, go to iTunes app. Tap on the Device button close to the upper left of the iTunes window.
5. Then, tap on the Summary button.

7. If there is an update, you can install it by tapping on the Update icon.
Using iCloud to Back Up your iPad Pro If you want to backup your iPad Pro, you can use your computer or iCloud.
But here, we are using iCloud. Here are the steps: a. Scroll to the Settings menu and locate Your Name.
b. From the dropdown menu, tap on iCloud.
c. Then, go to iCloud Backup and switch it on.
d. This setup will cause iCloud to always do a daily backup of your device.
