The Adventures of little Kathy and Leo. Christmas Treasure - Anna Pavliuk
The first snow is always welcome
by everyone because it’s a kind of magic...
But this year, the hope to see
a single tiny snowflake was almost gone,
and it was already almost Christmas time.
Suddenly, in the middle of the night,
the wind died down, it became dark
all around, and only street lights filled
the road with gentle warm yellow glowing.
A little white sparkle appeared in the sky.
Then another one. And then one more.
Eventually, everything was covered
with a soft white blanket.

as loudly as she could.
Luckily, they saw their dog very soon, he was holding
something in his jaws. Having noticed Leo, George
rushed to him waving his tail happily. Kathy noticed
a big key with the red ribbon in George’s mouth.
Kids started to examine the key:
- I've never seen a key like this before!
How about you? - asked Leo.
- I have. My grandma had a big key to the old lock
in the cellar, but it had no shiny stones or snowflakes
on it, - answered Kathy.
Leo started to rotate the key in his hands and
accidentally pushed the big sparkling stone in
the middle. Suddenly, the key split into two:
- That’s magic!!! Hm… I wonder, what
