Deterring Wolves and Other Predators: A Rancher's Guide to Pro-Active Stewardship

About this ebook
Many times, human behavior ignores a situation until it becomes a problem. Predators often fall into this mindset.
A mortgage could be an example of the efforts of Predator Awareness.
Your mortgage is an agreement between you and your lender. It requires a commitment of a payment.
Do you make the monthly payment, or wait until the bank begins foreclosure?
The monthly payment is a commitment that prevents the need for the bank's foreclosure process. Simply taking care of business before it becomes a problem.
If you have livestock within the boundaries of North America, you also have predators present. By acknowledging that, you are aware of the possibility of predatory pressures.
It's better to acknowledge the threat and make an effort, rather than waiting until it becomes a problem. Much like taking care of the monthly payment, rather than waiting till the foreclosure process begins.
Predator Awareness is about installing routinely practiced pro-active methods, rather than waiting to perform an occasional reactionary response.
