    For this project, you will need

    3 ¼ Knitting needles

    5 lengths of 12-inch pipe

    cleaners, 4 cuts into 4-inch

    lengths, 1 cut in half for base

    Handful of toy stuffing

    Length of ribbon

    4 cm diameter round of cardboard

    Abbreviations

    K: knit, P: pearl

    Inc: increase

    Tog: together

    sts: stitches

    st-st: stocking stitch

    To make vase

    Cast on 30 stitches

    R1 – Knit row

    R2 – Pearl row

    R3 – Knit row

    R4 – Pearl row

    R5 – Knit row

    R6 – Pearl row

    R7 – K1, K2tog to end

    R8 – Pearl row

    R9 – Knit Row

    R10 – Pearl row

    R11 – Knit row

    R12 – Pearl row

    R13 – Knit row

    R14 – Pearl row

    R15 – (k4 inc in next stitch), repeat till end (24sts)
