About this ebook
This 2023 Japanese tourist Guide is written by the author Aurora Mizutani and translated into Italian by Giorgio Fragiacomo.
It is an inspiring, compact satirical guide to Japan in the 21st century, and is accompanied by stick figure illustrations that tantalize and invite the reader into a world of light-hearted and whimsical humour.
The formulation of the guide offers levity and does not follow any chronological order, while its non-linear approach compels us into its cheerful wandering.
This work nonetheless provides some insight into Japanese culture, explores native practices, and briefly points to new social norms imposed by variants of the coronavirus.
Happy reading and welcome to Japan!
