About this ebook

Casha Marly has so far been able to evade the spirits that have chased her since she discovered an ancient book. Cursed to protect the book, and poisoned by its magic, she seldom finds time to rest.

But Casha is only human. Unable to stay awake much longer, she takes a ride into the city on her motorcycle and skulks around an alley, looking for a place to rest. There, she discovers a frightened girl that warns her of the White Child. The strange spirit haunts all who dream, trapping them in a deep sleep until the sun comes up.

With no choice but to rest, Cash Marly ventures into the dream world for an inevitable encounter with a force beyond comprehension, and her only salvation might be a book of evil magic, or the ghost of her best friend.

Casha? Casha, I know you're thinking about sleep, but...

Casha stumbled from the bike and fell to her knees. She leaned back against the wall and drew her knees up to her chin. As pale as the ghost now speaking to her, Casha strained to keep her eyes open.

Teekle, aforementioned ghost, sat next to her, though she floated several inches off the pavement. Very difficult, she always told Casha, to find the ground from the spirit world.

    Teekle trailed off.
