They are things like the Grand Canyon, which is a huge, stunning hole in the ground.

    The Wonders of the World are a long list of the most incredible things on the planet. They're well-known because people think they're unique and outstanding, and they're interesting to learn about and visit. There are various types of World Wonders, such as ancient structures built by people a long time ago and natural wonders created by the Earth itself.

    In this book, we'll look at the various types of World Wonders and what makes each one unique. We'll talk about the really old ones, like the Pyramids, which are massive stone triangles.
