Section I
Human Feelings
Human Worth
Human worth
It’s not in materials gain
Or conquered miles man makes in life
But shows in lasting lights
That shines in materials
Made by hallowed hands
Of mortal Man
It’s not in life men live
Rather in life they give
In sacrifices in human kind
Lo and behold the crucified Christ
He gave his life wholly
For human worth
So the scriptures say
Brain Star
The brain—a galaxy
Filled with millions of stars
Each star distinct
Waiting to be developed
To its full potential
That will benefit humanity
No child, neither child
He or she
Should be denied
A full-fledged education
Now—later—ever
Reaching for the stars
One child at a time
For the child is a star
You Made It to the Top
So, you made it to the TOP
So what if you did
Are you satisfied you’re there
Or are you there because they put you there
So you got there all by yourself, huh
But have you looked around you
And seen how many hands helped push you
You say it doesn’t matter, I’m there
Well don’t be too contented
Because you are there
You may have climbed up there
To become self-conceited
In which case you may fall
Sooner or later
Or perhaps they put you there
As a scapegoat to fool your brothers
That the system is equal to all
Don’t be fooled
Unless you shine and become outstanding
Like your color
You will deteriorate to fit the label…NIGGER
Which means
