About this ebook

This book brings spirit-filled prayers to the readers. They have been known to deeply affect several people when sharing. Each prayer is carefully written utilizing the counsel of the Holy Spirit and within the confines of the Lord's Prayer. To be able to communicate with God, we need to ensure our prayers are structured in a way that Yeshua has taught us. In the Lord's Prayer, you will note that the beginning and ending of the prayer is that of glorification and thankfulness. The central portion is the area of requests. One of the problems we have when praying is that we are not always specific in what we are asking for. We need to learn to pinpoint those areas of need and stop being too general in nature. There are many things that we take for granted in our daily lives. Things like the interactions with others, the awakening each morning, and the blessings we receive are just some of these. The inspiration of each prayer in this book lies in those areas we tend to take for granted. If we spend time away from our concrete jungles and instead spend some time out in nature, we will find both physical and spiritual healing. Take the time to just observe and pray. Also included are what I call "Pondering Moments" or mini-sermons. As a chaplain, I do not spend a half-hour detailing thoughts into sermons. I give thoughts for us to think about during the week. I understand that some may not agree with them but think of them as another point of view.

He married his wife, Mai, thirty-three years before her passing. He hassix children, thirteen grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren. He remains active on online social media. On Facebook, his followers encouraged him to begin authoring books on what he shares with them. Deeply spiritual, he found it easier to have the Spirit write for him instead. Introduction

Have you ever wondered how we should pray? Would it not be best to receive our answer from the Lord himself? In Matthew 6:9–13, he tells us, but most people believe that all we need to do is recite the Lord’s Prayer.

This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Have you ever really dissected the prayer itself? The beginning of the prayer is of thankfulness and glorification. Next comes the intercession or requests. The ending is once again that of thankfulness and glorification.

The prayers in this book are written with that in mind as well as acknowledging the Trinity. For those that may be unfamiliar, when I begin each prayer, there are titles I give for the Trinity. For example, Great Spirit refers to the Holy Spirit, Almighty Healer refers to Yeshua, and Creator of all things refers to God the Father.

    Awakening

We have gone through the twentieth century that filled us with lies, deception, and half-truths. We should now spend the twenty-first in facts, love, and understanding. We all have our faults. We all have our own addictions or thorns as I call them. We need to reach that level of being able to look past what we see and begin to use our other senses. All are not of the light. Many live in the darkness. If we look upon the character, the actions, and the words, we will get better understanding.

Learn to love. Learn to listen to the spirit. No longer should we allow anyone to control what you eat, wear, believe, etc. We are all unique individuals, created by the Creator of all things. We all have been given a purpose and a path unique to each individual. Always be aware that one is never alone. Speak through the spirit when you are confused, down, needing guidance, or just feel like sending up praise.

Movements have started to protect the very necessities of life, from being destroyed by corporate and government greed. Idle No More began a few years ago in the northern part of Turtle Island. Now the shell part of the island indigenous people stand to protect the land and waters from the same. They are the native peoples from diverse tribes that began standing together with the nation at Standing Rock, North Dakota. Though the players may be different, the result is the same. How long must we stand up to protect our waters, air, and land? We need to turn the tide and clean up what we have nearly destroyed. We need to also bring pressure to our leaders to start working on alternative sources of energy instead of bringing more destruction to the environment. After all, if we continue on this path, there will be nothing left to save ourselves.

Stand up now for all you believe without fear. Be the light. In peace, we can achieve anything. In violence, all will be lost. Make no mistake, we are now at that fork in the road where we must choose life or death. That one direction that continues on through technology and how we have lived our lives to present. The other in a complete reset, knowing and understanding our original duty to the Creator. If you still do not understand, research the Hopi Prophecy that is now staring us in the face. We all know that we can no longer live this way. At least, this is what I have hoped we have learned. Be blessed, my friends.

    Being Too Busy

While we spend time trying to place more things in our day, running to and fro, performing business, or ensuring that no time is wasted, we never leave time to observe or learn from all things that come to us. We spend too much time providing for the family or buying things to make us happy. But we find ourselves saying there is never enough time in the day. We chase after materialistic dreams only to find more misery and—ultimately—our own destruction. We have become selfish into thinking that the world owes us something instead of us owing the world.

We all have a purpose, and it isn’t about our desires. We are connected together to give assistance to all living things. From the two-leggeds, four-leggeds, swimmers, fliers, and crawlers, to the plants, trees, and waters, we are connected. We must learn to be compassionate and bring healing to all things. We must become the caretakers we were meant to be.

Take time out, away from our concrete jungles and experience nature. It is nature that we need to observe. For through our observation, we may find new knowledge and wisdom. Nature nurtures and heals if given the opportunity. Many plants and herbs found in nature have healing properties to all our ailments, diseases, etc. All we need to do is observe and learn.

We need time of reflection and tranquility. We miss too much in life when we keep ourselves occupied within the routine of our working lives. We wake in the morning, work during the day, come home, sleep. Day after day is generally the same. Why not take time and truly relax and enjoy life?

    Be blessed, my friends.

    Changing The World

There is no honor in violence. It only brings more of the same, and nothing gets done. Its only production is hatred, discrimination, and heartbreak. If we want to change the world, we must use peaceful means. For it is through peace that changes occur and spreads throughout so long as the heart is willing.

Take for instance, Standing Rock. The violence you see from the law enforcement side is not reciprocated from the protector side. The cause is just and has become a movement worldwide. It is not about the land and water just in North Dakota. Water is the lifeblood of all living things. Greed does not care. It only serves its master.

Though the battle was won temporarily, the war still rages on. All over the world, governments are allowing the black snake (oil pipelines) to inhabit sacred lands and areas where the people do not want it. If we are to protect the waters from future disasters, then we all must take a peaceful stand and say, Enough!

Not everyone is able to stand on the frontlines. But that doesn’t mean one cannot be active in getting the word out, sending supplies, praying, donating to legal funds, etc. We are all in this together, and we are all united to bring about change.

    Be blessed, my friends.

    Charity

We must humble ourselves because we are no better than the next. We all have our trials to endure; even the wealthy tend to live in misery. To heal the soul and feel peace is to help those around us. If you see someone on the side of the road requesting help, please offer it if it is something you can do. Even a kind word works wonders. Cook for the needy if you are able. Offer
