Chapter 1
Two separate worlds: a world of light and a world of darkness, the good and the evil. I lived in the world of light, the good world, before the tragedy. I am Grandpa Howdy, one of the oldest and wisest men in the land. The dark world was ruled by evildoers, sorcerers, witches, and people who possessed the powers to look like monsters if they wished. This world was filled with darkness, sickness, diseases, grossness, crimes, liars, cheaters, murders, filthiness, wickedness, and poverty. The people’s hearts were blinded to righteousness; there was no truth in them. People rejected each other just because of the color of their hearts. The poor hated the rich. The rich hated the poor. The rich kept getting richer by the hour through scheming, sabotage, and crookedness. Any and every kind of evil they could think of, they did in this dark world. This world was very sad and weary to us who lived in the light world.
In this dark world, the children acted like beasts, running around terrorizing the communities. You could not look at them for they would either curse you or kill you. They were rude, raised by their parents to be evil. They had no respect for anything. The children were of a very defiant generation. You know the old saying, Like father like son, like mother like daughter,
it was true there. You could believe without a shadow of doubt if evil was in the parents, evil was in their children. If you looked at the children with the wrong eye, a fight was on. They would fight until someone broke it up or until death did them part.
The children were more harmful than their parents. Even in the dark world, the parents loved their children. Despite what they had done, the children touched the hearts of their parents in ways that no other could. They took guns, knives, bombs, toothpaste, and whatever they could think of to get it on,
fighting, I mean. Although they were taught to hate, the parents could not deal with their own bad children in this evil world.
The majority of the children were on Pooh Pooh
medication, which helped their parents control them. Like zombies, the children walked around unable to connect to reality. Emotionally, the children would be up one day and down the next day. There was no wonder the children were out of control. Schoolteachers taught them how to survive in their evil world. The children’s grades were definitely affected by their bad attitudes; grades were poor and accepted. On the other hand, poor grades were never seen in the light world. The children were excellent students.
As mentioned before, the people in the dark world were liars, haters, deceivers, thieves, and betrayers and downright mean and ugly. They trusted in their riches and powers. This world was very dreary and wicked. The evil world would oppress, depress, and possess your soul if you let it. A bleak world it was.
The light world, in which I lived, was just the opposite, full of good and righteous-hearted people. The land was full of goodness. We trusted not in ourselves, but in our God. There were plenty of monies, provisions, toys, houses, green pastures, rainbow skies, and just enough dew to moisten the grounds. This world was full of happy families with plenty of cheerful, pleasant, obedient, smart, and loving children. There were no sicknesses, diseases, deaths, or poverty that the people could not handle. There were no divorces, murders, theft, or corruption. We only had to speak the word of life and there would be no sickness or poverty. The people of the light world knew they were Abraham’s seed and heirs to all the promises of their God. We were not ashamed of our promises; we walked in them with power and confidence.
We taught our people how to live a victorious life. We had special days set aside that we, the community, would get together and were taught the words of our forefathers. During these days, we learned how to honor the God that made this world. We knew we had powers above our own natural abilities, but some of us just didn’t know how to use them against evil, like we should. Maybe soon, someone will enlighten us about how our powers work. Our world never had to confront evil. It was a perfect, serene world. Back in the day, before the Harvest of Souls Crossover, the people’s hearts were made out of tough love. The land was free from unrighteous people, liars, and deceivers. Dogs and cats even were obedient. Everyone was blissful, peaceful, and wealthy. The land even seemed to breathe pleasantly. People could sleep at night with their windows open and doors unlocked. Neighbors spoke to one another with love. Children played games with each other. There were no color boundaries, no apathy. Everyone was treated fair and equal, as one. It was peaceful, calm, and downright marvelous.
They say in the evil world, there was one authoritative evil master. Although, no one has really seen him, they say he was a mysterious fair-skinned, brownish-blue–eyed person. Dark around the eyes, his gaze could mag-net-ize
you. Never look into his eyes for you would see his mischievous, evil heart. He stood seven feet tall with long fingernails. He had long black-and-white hair that dragged on the floor. It is believed that he had a birthmark behind one ear shaped like a spider. A big hairy creature he was. His chest was made of a plate of steel, and no one could penetrate his heart, not even with words of kindness or goodness, so they say.
He was half man, half beast, and a wild-looking thing. He wore fancy dark clothes most of the time. I am not sure, but I have been told that he is full of fire and he can blow it. How he became that way is a mystery. Only his high-ranking evil officers have seen him. When he’s angry, the dark world shakes and trembles. They say when he is very angry, there is thunder, lightening, and earthquakes; otherwise, when he is happy (if there is such a thing as happy, in his case), it just remains hot as Hades there. His goal was to get more and more people to be like him, to have a heart of malice and to do harm to people, to obliterate the land, kill, demolish families and their homes, and make everyone evil.
His number one targets are the offspring. For the life of me, I do not know why he goes after our children. They said he is training and developing an army of mischievous children for a great battle one day: skilled in unleashing evil upon the nation. Once he has persuaded you with his destructive power and you opt to live evil, you are given a set of mythical powers, which are not as potent as his. It has been said that several of his people conspired together and joined their powers to dethrone him, but he wiped them all out. No one could find any parts of them. After that incident, no one
