About this ebook

God reveals the exact meaning in the book of Revelation through the author, Sarah Seoh, that the apostle John originally tried to deliver to us. Many people tried to understand the book of Revelation correctly but were unable to. However, God did so through the author, Sarah Seoh. God opened her spiritual eyes to see hell and heaven for several years and allowed her to understand the exact meaning of the book of Revelation.

The author met Jesus and apostle John in heaven, who wrote the book of Revelation in the Bible. Therefore, the author gets insights into a lot of questions regarding the book of Revelation and solves them. There are many books about understanding the book of Revelation, but none of them solve the questions about the book.

But this book clearly explains the book of Revelation.

The original book, Understanding the book of Revelation, consists of three parts: the first part, the second part, and the third part, the summary of the book. In the original book she describes daily visits to heaven and talking with Jesus and the apostle John about the book of Revelation. This book, however, contains only the third part and the summary of the book. It contains only the essential part to understand the book of Revelation. It will make you understand the book of Revelation clearly. The original book, Understanding the book of Revelation, will be also published soon.

    Preface

I had written my book on the book of Revelation from August 15, 2014, to October 17, 2015.

I had asked the Lord a lot of questions concerning Revelation, and he had taught me about them. I had written down what I had learned from the Lord in my book for fourteen months.

Toward the end of writing this book, the Lord had given me a big gift, which opened a door for me to enter into a season of my new ministry abroad. I had always wished to do mission works simply because it was my calling from the Lord in the first place. But he had not sent me anywhere for mission works. Under his guidance, I had begun to run a small church and have been pastoring at it in the last ten years. My turning point was that the Lord had allowed me to go on many trips to heaven and hell. I had written down all I was told to testify in my book series, which is comprised of five volumes. After having finished writing these five books, the Lord led me to different places where I could do my own missionary works. I understood the reason he had not assigned any mission works to me a decade ago. I was convinced that it was his plan for me to begin my own mission works after writing down my five testimonial books. No doubt I will be going around overseas continually, doing what I have been told.

I had a testimonial revival meeting in South Korea on October 29, 2015. Right after it, I went on to hold other ministry meetings in Nepal, India, and Japan before returning to Los Angeles on November 14, 2015. A little later on, God led me to Belize too. I came to believe that he would lead me on to other countries for my mission works.

In his infinite knowledge, our God plans and carries out his purposes through us.

"Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it [the Lord is His name]: Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know' (Jeremiah 33:1–3 NIV).

Praise the Lord for his purposeful plans and achievements!

I put a lot of information in my book on the book of Revelation. So I felt prompted to put together all the information in the form of a summary so readers might obtain clear and enhanced understandings of the book of Revelation. I prayerfully hope so.

The Antichrist and the False Prophet

I was taught by the Lord that the beast from the sea is not the antichrist but an evil spirit coming out of the sea. Hallelujah!

This beast will be active during the latter three and a half years of the seven-year tribulation.

We call this period the great tribulation.

It will receive great power from the dragon to stand against God. This beast is an evil spirit that will come up from the abyss, enter the antichrist, and control him for three and a half years. The antichrist, who will pretend to be a great politician for the world, will become a malicious dictator from the moment the sea beast enters him.

And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him? The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. (Revelation 13:1–5] NIV)

The sea beast mentioned in this passage is not the antichrist himself, but an evil spirit that enters him. It will possess him with the power of Satan and will be thrown into the lake of fire at the end of the war of Armageddon, along with the antichrist. This means that the antichrist is a human being, while the beast is an evil spirit. They both will be thrown into the lake of fire—while still alive—along with the false prophet, as mentioned in Revelation 19:20.

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. (Revelation 19:19–21 NIV)

    2

The First Three and a Half Years of the Seven-Year Tribulation

The beginning of the first three-and-a-half-year period of the seven-year tribulation will come when three things occur: 1) the antichrist will appear, 2) two witnesses will begin their ministry, and 3) the outer court of the third temple will be treaded by Gentiles. I'm not sure which event will occur first, but I'm guessing that they may take place at the almost same time.

He will confirm a covenant with many for one seven. In the middle of the seven he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. (Daniel 9:27 NIV)

The antichrist is the one who will make a seven-year peace treaty with Israel. This will happen before the sea beast comes up from the abyss (Revelation 11:7).

During the first three-and-a-half-year period of the seven-year tribulation, six trumpets will be blown, and then the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates will be released (Revelation 8:7, 9:15). This will cause a world war, resulting in one-third of the global population being killed. Then, two witnesses will begin their ministries. These ministries will end right before the seventh trumpet is blown. They will be killed by the sea beast but resurrected in three and a half days and will ascend to heaven.

The following things will occur during the first three and a half years of the seven-year tribulation:

The time of the two witnesses will come.

I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. (Revelation 11:1–12 NIV)

Revelation 11:1–2 shows that the third temple will already exist by the beginning of the first three-and-a-half-year period. Gentiles will tread on the outer courts of the temple during this time.

Since the third temple has not yet been built, we have not entered into the seven-year tribulation. In fact, the first six trumpets will be blown before that period begins. As I mentioned before, the sixth trumpet will sound the beginning of a worldwide war, killing one-third of the global population. This war has not yet occurred, so it is clear that the period of the tribulation has yet to begin.

After this war, two witnesses will prophesy for 1,260 days, stopping rain from falling from heaven and turning the sea into blood. Their activities will finish at the end of the first half of the seven-year tribulation. Their ministry will be an indication of the first three-and-a-half-year period of the seven-year tribulation. No one has made a seven-year peace treaty with Israel yet. I was instructed by the Lord to pay close attention to this event so that we might know who the antichrist is.

    The Two Witnesses

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. (Revelation11:4 NIV)

My first question for the Lord was about the two witnesses. They are referred to as two lampstands and two olive trees standing before God. As I inquired from the Lord about them, I felt like Jesus was telling me, You are a witness. My understanding of this was not that I am one of the two witnesses, but that we true believers are all witnesses of Jesus. Hallelujah!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8 NIV)

The Lord tells us that we become his witnesses when we receive the Holy Spirit and travel around the world, testifying about him in his power. A biblical witness is one who testifies of what he or she has seen about Jesus and his work. My question was whether the two witnesses mentioned in these passages are two individuals or represent the church on earth as a whole. I believe that these two witnesses have something to do with what Paul says about Jews and Gentiles in Ephesians2:14–18.

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself
