About this ebook
We are in the age of influences and modern technology.
Jerry The Modern Prodigal Son, rich and handsome... influenced by the pleasures of life, the power of money, and the ease of modern technology, at an early age, he demanded from his parents his share of the inheritance before he dies.
Driving a stunning sports car, he sets off on a journey to a world unknown; to enjoy the pleasures of life that money could buy.
On his journey, to the height of happiness, he becomes friendly with Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, and Sue...
In tears, and in agony, Jerry looked back at his journey, and realized, when it was too late, that making wrong decisions, often leads to destructions.
Turning the pages of this novel, you will want to join others who have been profoundly touched by the thoughts expressed and share this powerful, true-to-life story with teens, young adults, friends, and love ones. It doesn't matter what age we are now living in. Jesus's love for us is always unconditional. He came into this world to save us and not to condemn us.

Introduction
(Fiction)
Jerry (The Modern Prodigal Son) is the second son of Mitchie Sinclair, a billionaire. Mitchie is the President of Sinclair's Construction Companies.
The Sinclairs are a family of four: Mitchie; his wife, Eleanor; and two sons, Mitch and Jerry. Jerry grew up to be a very handsome fellow. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. In other words, he was born rich. So was Mitch, his elder brother. He is not as handsome as his younger brother. He grew up to be a workaholic. The two brothers are jealous of each other.
Mitch is jealous of Jerry and sees him to be the favorite of his parents, because of his handsome face, he gets all their attention. Jerry is jealous of Mitch and sees him to be the favorite of his parents because he chooses to be a workaholic just to gain their attention. Jealousy, envy, and hostility separates the two brothers.
Over the years, Jerry grew sick and tired of living under his parent's control. He considered them to be overly protective, and he longed to be free from the constant hassling with them and the strife with his jealous brother. He desires to get away and enjoy the pleasures of being rich and handsome while he is still young…so he comes up with a plan on how to be free from his parents' strongholds and from his jealous brother.
Chapter 1
Jerry Works on His Plan
Jerry throws a party at home when he should be at work at his father's construction sites. Dancing to the beat of loud music are his friends—young adults ages eighteen to thirty.
At the construction sites, workers are seen wearing hard hats. Mitchie, his father and Mitch, his elder brother, are present in the office at one of the construction sites, but Jerry doesn't show up at the sites to work as planned. As time goes by and Jerry didn't show up, Mitchie asks Mitch, Is Jerry at work, son?
He replies, No, dad, he's not here yet. He's always late!
While the party is in full swing, music blasting, Eleanor, his mother, drives in and is surprised to see a live party going on in her house. And as she enters the house, she stands at the doorway and shouts, This party is over. Everybody out!
Paul, one of Jerry's friends, on his way out, steals a clock and hides it under his shirt. On his way out the door, the clock alarms. Eleanor stretches out her hand. Paul, grinning, slowly takes the clock from under his shirt, and while handing it over, he says, Hello, Mrs. Sinclair. My name is Paul. I… I just wanted to know what time it is!
Jerry's Mother, Eleanor, in Anger
In anger, Eleanor turns to Jerry and asks, Why are you home partying when you should be at work?
He replies, I don't want to work anymore! I want to have fun!
She responds, I'm not going to allow you to waste your whole life away having fun just because you have a handsome face and were born with a silver spoon in your mouth! This, I will not condone! Get out of here now and get to work!
He replies, very daringly, Why should I work when I am safely covered under a monetary blanket of security?
She answers, Well, I just have to uncover you, boy, because you're getting just a wee bit too comfortable!
Seeing himself as a man, he answers, Mom, I'm over eighteen! I'm not a child anymore! I'm twenty-five years old! I'm a grown man! Life is short… I want to enjoy the pleasures of life and have lots of fun while I'm still young!
She asks, Do you have a plan, young man?
Yes. I don't want to wait until you and father die before I get my portion of the inheritance.
He becomes submissive, says, "Please, Mom, I want my portion now to create my world and use money as the key to open the door
