Are You Ready for the Fight?

About this ebook
I am sure that you have often heard this expression, "She, he, or they made me do it or made me angry or unhappy." This is not true. No one can make you do anything that you do not want to do. The decision and choices of action are always yours. You do or say things because of who you are and what is in you. Therefore, you need to educate yourself well in order to make good decisions.
There are only two forces in this world, influencing or guiding in your actions or decisions: one is for good, the other for evil. Our struggle in this life is not primary against our fellow human being but against the forces of evil. When we really understand this and if we follow the instructions or guidelines of the forces of good, we will always be happy and victorious no matter what the challenges may be that we encounter.

Introduction
Th e badge of Christianity is not an outward sign. The wearing of a cross or a crown does not indicate our persuasion, but it is that which reveals the union of man with God. By the power of His grace manifested in the transformation of character, the world is to be convinced that God has sent His Son as its Redeemer. No other influence that can surround the human soul has such power as the influence of an unselfish life. The strongest argument in favor of the Gospel is a loving and lovable Christian (Ellen White, The Ministry of Healing, 470.1).
The Lord does not now work to bring many souls into the truth, because of the church members who have never been converted… What influence would these unconsecrated members have on new converts? Would they not make of any effect the God-given message which His people are to bear? (Ellen White, Testimonies to the Church, Vol. 6T. 370.3; italics mine)
The intent of this book is to deal with interpersonal relationship primarily among Christians and to remind them of the example they should be showing to others by their conduct. Non-Christians can also be benefited from the principles enunciated.
It also deals with one's behavior and attitude when facing physical and verbal challenges. I know that what will be presented in this book will be effective if followed for I currently am experiencing it and have proven it to be true. I have peace despite the many challenges that I face every day. This is why, when I am asked, How are you today?
My response is always Enchanted with life. My day is good every day because the day and challenges do not make me. I make the day.
In this book, I will present to you how to fight the Christian warfare using Christian principles. As you read, make it interactive. It will be more fun and effective.
Although, as Christians, we do not promote the activity in the boxing world yet we can learn some principles from their discipline. Therefore, I will include some boxing principles and illustrations from the boxing world to enhance the presentation along with some Bible references.
The Bible uses some illustrations from the physical athletic world to drive home points. Here are some:
The race of faith (Heb. 12:1).
Let us lay aside every weight.
Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
Boxing.
Fight the good fight (1 Tim. 6:12).
Thus, I fight not as one who beats the air (1 Cor. 9:26).
All Bible references are taken from the New King James Version (NKJV). Whether you are a Bible believer or not, these principles and lessons can benefit you.
The purpose of this book is not to convert you to any religion but to make a positive difference in your life and make it more enjoyable.
I conducted a live presentation of the content of this book as a class. There were seventy-five people in attendance, and I did a survey at the end of the class in order to asses and evaluate the effectiveness. Below are the questions asked and the result in percentage.
