About this ebook
The Life of Metaphors is based upon real-life things we see every day. This is a new style of reading material that no one has ever read before, which will open your mind to metaphors as a new language. In one of my chapters, I talk about money and how it can be a force of evil. For example, some people say money isn't everything, but people will do anything to get it. I also talk about sports and how relevant they are to the players. Some of my favorite sports players listed as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Aaron Rodgers, and many more show my love of sports. Tom Brady's The Brady Bunch and Aaron Rodgers in Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood are just examples of why I love watching sports, especially those two teams. It's so amazing that many TV shows have come and gone, which is why I wrote chapter 3 as the old-school TV show chapter. You'll discover shows such as Gimme a Break, Married with Children, The Facts of Life, Three's Company, and many more. In this book, you will find real-life stories of how and where I grew up, and that's why I designed chapter 5 for your reading pleasures. You also will find the roots of Milwaukee, such as chapter 11, which tells about beers and breweries because we are the home of the Brewers. If it's credit cards you like, there is a story on the different types of credit cards-except in a perfect world, we all know there are rules and regulations before you swipe. You can find this in chapter 8.

Special Thanks
Iwould like to give a special thanks to everyone who purchased this book. All support was made possible by my fans and my Special K for helping me with this lifelong project. People may wonder how I came up with the idea to write this book. During my time at Froedtert Hospital, I thought of all kinds of metaphors and slogans all day long. In 2013, a few of the nurses said I should write a book, but I never thought about it or even had the confidence to do it. Every day, I kept a notebook and pen in my pocket with a lot of research for three years here I stand today. I enjoyed working on this project with Special K. This project is different and challenging for me because The Life of Metaphors is a perfect fit for how I live my life. This book is designed to help you reflect on the old times, to laugh, and to help educate people on how life is taken for granted. I hope you all enjoyed it, and thank you for your support!
Acknowledgments
Aspecial thanks to my friend Special K for his assistance in helping me to prepare and write this book.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to my friends who supported me all throughout this project. As you know, those include my lifelong rapper influences, Ralph Lauren (Mr. Polo), Master P, and many others who I can’t forget.
Thanks also to my time at Froedtert Hospital, which allowed me the time to reflect and put my thoughts and feelings on paper. It all started with a dream, some napkins, and a pen. I started like Biggie with a dream, and I know who I am and didn’t nobody hold me down. So I gripped my dream and held on to it. Now, everybody knows my name.
I would like to add my thoughts and feelings of life don’t reflect how I feel about life as a whole. In real life, there is risk and reward, and you have to recognize those opportunities. For me, rewards only come if you don’t blend in with the naysayers who don’t have your back but smile in your face and pretend. Those are haters, and they know my motivation comes from knowing I’m a star, and I always find a way to shine. I just want to encourage and remind people you can achieve dreams just like me. Rise above the nonsense, and remember you are somebody important no matter what people label you as.
Introduction
The Life of Metaphors has different metaphors that deal with old school to shows cars, commercials, R&B artist rappers, movies, sports, restaurants, and many more. These metaphors are my own ideas for this book, which is suitable for entertainment for reading. These metaphors are broken down into fifteen chapters, and they are all interesting with a lot of surprises. There are some things I left for my readers just to be curious as to what drives my inspiration. This book will have you wondering like Curious George or even Stewie from Family Guy . Please believe me; this is just a taste and example before you start reading this book. But the whole world knows that New York is the first state that started metaphors back in the day like LL Cool J , Run-DMC, Eric B. & Rakim , Big Daddy Kane , Doug E. Fresh , and many more. These people I’d like to give a special shout-out to, so ladies and gentlemen, I want you to sit back and relax. I want to thank everybody for supporting me and reading my book. I hope everyone loves my book, and may God bless you all. Thank you!
Chapter 1
Rappers and R&B Artists
I’d like to start this chapter off with the rappers back in the day that stayed fresh like the Doug E. Fresh . Call me John B. Fresh ’cause I wanna be paid in full like Eric B. & Rakim with a nice bank account and chillin’ like EPMD. It might be nice to have a taste of the rappers’ life but only if you treat it right. On the flip side, you gotta be bad like my boy LL Cool J and stay hard as hell to sell records. I’m so much like the D.O.C. ’cause no one can do it better than me. Now, that’s a bad statement! Anybody remember when Eazy-E played everybody out of their money? I know Cube had to be salty about that! He was just as bold and ruthless as his record company Ruthless Records. He was a beast, but I’ll say, RIP. He is a legend.
When you listen to Dr. Dre, you get high off the Chronic leaf on the album cover. When he came out with G
Thang baby added with some gin and juice from Snoop Dogg’s album, you got classic hits. When you put the Chronic and Doggystyle together, you stay high a long time off those two albums.
When I go to the club, all eyes are on me like 2Pac. He’s the only rapper who asked how you want it and how do you feel. He definitely got the Juice like the movie he starred in. Public Enemy dialed 911, but the ambulance never came. I guess they was a joke in their town, so don’t trust it and don’t believe the hype or trust what’s ain’t true. I wanna keep the faith like the R&B singer Faith Evans because I have to keep the faith. And, fellas, if you have a woman, you better do like En Vogue and hold on to her love because you may never get it again.
One of my favorite rappers is Too Short, and he reminds me life is too short, so you better not be blowin’ the whistle when there’s a foul in the game. People will read my book, then ask as if I was Debarge. My answer will be Who’s Johnny.
To all my fans, my love goes to you for supporting me. I have to escape like the R&B group Xscape to get away from this madness, but who do I run to?
I have to admit I have so many Confessions
just like Usher, but I ain’t telling any of them, like that old saying the less you know, the better off you are.
I like his song Yeah
because I’ve had a lot of lovers and friends all throughout my life. I do have one confession, though: I’m a Super Freak
like Rick James. That’s one cool old-school singer who enjoyed the party life (like me). I remember one time a chick asked him who was he after he won an award. His reply was, I’m Rick James, bitch.
Now, that’s what I call commanding respect.
Back in 2010, Eminem collaborated on a song with Rihanna called Love the Way You Lie,
and he cried on that song. The music industry calls him a white rap god (small g). This dude portrays himself as a white god like rapper who ain’t afraid to tell people he sold eighty million records. He definitely put in work to get them records sold.
My name ain’t Keith, so don’t sweat me ’cause his songs will make it last forever. In this case, it never will. On to Beyoncé and Kelly
