Nevertheless, he decided to go back to teaching, but of course, not at a public school, but rather at the California Department of Corrections, the institution where he worked until he retired. Covering the daily routine of working with inmates, security guards, and the teachers of the Education Department, Lockshin writes how it was to be placed in a yard full of inmates with lifetime sentences, as well as how to convert those who have failed themselves and society, killers who couldn't care less about an education, and turn negative activity to positive activity step by step. You will discover that, even with all the downsides, Lockshin was able to provide an optimistic success via the GED program.
