    Introduction

This book is written with the intent to teach prophecies that have been hidden within the scriptures we call the Holy Bible. Some of these prophecies are designed to teach the methodology of discerning prophecy, and some are designed to aid in locations of prophecy within scripture as well as in time and location geographically.

Many people think of Bible prophecy as all being derived from verses that start with Thus said the Lord, and all prophecy reads from left to right and top to bottom.

In this book, you will see that prophecy is also found in the day-to-day lives of people, how they lived, and how the actions and reactions of their lives shaped prophecy.

Imagine the thoughts that passed through the minds of the disciples when Jesus said, I must fulfill the prophecy of Jonah.

The following are some of the false narratives that have been fostered onto the church over the last two thousand years.

All prophecies are known to the church, and everyone that is anyone agrees on the meaning and scope of these prophecies. That simply is not true.

There are no prophets in the world, and no one can add or subtract from the scriptures. Again, simply not true.

Other teachers fail to understand the words of the prophets and blind themselves to truth.

Personal bias based on loyalty to their teachers and schools and scientific ignorance.

More self-serving falsehoods using a disingenuous twist of language to hide a lack of faith.

In this book, you will find prophecy that teaches the past in order to strengthen your faith. Prophecy that teaches the future, to prepare you for that time. Prophecy that teaches about place and time. While some prophecies teach health and wellness and wealth building, others teach about war, destruction, and salvation.

The effort of this book is in fact to teach; you have the opportunity to learn how to discern prophecy, even to learn those I have not taken the time to list.

There are more prophecies in the Bible than I care to list in this book. Better for all of us to teach you how to discover and how to research and learn for yourself.

Scriptures listed are taken from the King James Version of the Holy Bible marked KJV, or from the New International Version of the Holy Bible marked NIV.

    Chapter 1

    Of Times and Places

This chapter is a short list of scriptures that are used to point toward different times that were in the future of the prophet that gave us that particular prophecy. The selection of these verses is made to teach the difficulty in discernment and to teach just how far you may need to go to arrive at a true understanding.

    When Iron Floats

    2 Kings 6:2–7, KJV:

Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.

And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.

So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

The Native Americans have, for years, used a form of building where each man cuts a pole, and these are lashed together near one end and then covered with hides; this is referred to as a teepee. The iron that floats is an indication of someone using an iron trap, the same type that is used to trap beaver. The small stick is attached with a length of twine; this allows the trapper to locate the trap after it is tripped by a beaver without having to search in the water. The time period would last from 1795 until 1848, with the
