Part 9 of the Halloween Warriors describes how the beings and the creatures of evil seized the industrialized cities again in a mysterious way, forcing the beings of goodness to travel to the sacred lands, to find solutions from the god of the divine cults. The god of the divine cults provides them with a powerful amulet that will free their territories from the beings of evil, bringing as consequences, the loss of William.

Part 10 of the Halloween Warriors is the part of the story that describes the return of the beings of goodness. In the search for William, each warrior is caught in the mysteries of their journey, but in the end they are rescued with the effort of all the beings of the divine cults. The Halloween Warriors part 9 and 10 is the continuation to the Halloween Warriors part 4 and 5.

Part 9

The Surrounding Cities

After having discovered the code, Mother Nature, Gellfara, and the warriors returned the city to the survivors rescued from the demon’s spell. Hoping that this time they will not be carried away by anger, hatred, envy, or greed, nothing that could arouse the interest of the curse. The residents of the old city allied themselves with those of the industrial city and managed to achieve an enviable economic development, extending the industrialization to the port cities of the old city. The maritime exploitation resulted in the construction of ports in all the surrounding territories as part of the fishing activity and trade. The customs and traditions of the inhabitants continued as always, especially Halloween, which represented an unforgettable experience.

With the passage of the time, the cities were filled with the arrival of adventurers and families in search of progress; the population was so crowded that it looked like a carnival, causing frustration among the residents as they lacked space for everything. The basic resources began to narrow, the cost of food began to rise, especially maritime products that was one of the sources of food of the territory. To build housing that would meet the need of the residents, it was necessary to occupy part of the plots that were used for agriculture, thus reducing the production of agricultural food.

Due to this situation, the representatives of the city met to look for solutions and create improvements. Apparently, it was a difficult situation where there was no other choice but to try to extend the territory to other regions of the country that were not populated. Mother Nature was proud of their behavior and social development; they seemed to have learned from their past experiences. But there were things that humans had to solve by themselves, and although she wanted to, she couldn’t intervene since that would affect the evolutionary development of the human species. Finally they reached an agreement and decided to send a team of explorers to investigate the conditions and possibilities of occupying a territory, analyze the cost, the materials, and adequate personnel to carry out that operation. With the combined effort, the intelligence and the performance of the explorers didn’t take long to find territories and build cities with a high industrial level. Creating a balance between the population and the basic supply resources. The labor demand increased in all economic sectors, employing workers from all surrounding regions. The population growth created tension among residents due to sociocultural variety, that it was not difficult to adjust, but if it would bring consequences.

As it was known, the feelings of envy and hatred would awaken the appetite of the demons that would infiltrate the population. Social conflicts and differences among the residents were crucial factors to unleash quarrels and fights between citizens creating resentment and spite, which took the shine to the progress obtained with so much sacrifice and dedication. For most of the population, composed of the new residents of the territory, the history through which this city passed, when it was possessed by evil beings who seized the residents with traits of hatred and envy was unknown. Therefore, their aggressive behavior put at risk the security of the city since the anger of these had gotten out of control. Seeing this, Mother Nature, Gellfara, and the warriors communicated with the rulers of the cities and demanded that they alert the residents, who should avoid behaviors and feelings of hatred, so as not to attract the beings of evil.

In that way, they let the entire population know what was happening, who avoided any kind of conflicts at all cost. But they couldn’t control that there were hidden feelings of hatred and envy because of greed and the desire for power and prestige. That practice of hidden feelings was an alternative to premeditate and act in a secret way in search for personal goals. Sometimes, the impulses of the human beings are uncontrollable. Despite the constant access and struggle, they managed not to awaken the beings of evil, who for a strange reason didn’t react to these provocations. Many years passed since the demons took over this city, converting the lost beings into stones and trees, that if weren’t for Mother Nature, they might be in the same situation, trapped in the spell. It’s to recognize that it was not easy, but the wisdom of Gellfara and the skill of the warriors was brilliant and precise with the intervention of the magic vessel.

Apparently, the creatures of evil inhabited long territories on that occasion when they had their domain. And being exterminated by the warriors, they left hidden traces of their stay, which would remain asleep since they were not provoked by the wrath of
