About this ebook

God's divine providence (his working "behind the scenes" for the betterment of mankind) has been truly amazing through the years, even more so than his performing of supernatural-by-definition miracles in days past. In this book, evangelist Joe Gladwell showcases God's divine providence by showing very strong evidence in favor of the Bible being delivered to mankind precisely the way he wanted us to have it. This is up to and including the placement of the divider page between Old and New Testaments in its natural place-right between the books of Malachi and Matthew.

This book is dedicated to three parties. To Brother Fred Beel, for doing all he could within the bounds of scripture to see to it that there would be a Billingsly/Gladwell debate, even though Brother Billingsly, in the end, refused to cooperate. Also to Brother Jeff Belknap, for inspiring me to put these findings about the validity of the Bible’s recognized division into print, and thus, into book form. Finally and most importantly, this work is dedicated to Jehovah God, the one true God before whom we all must stand and give account to in the not too distant future.

    Foreword

Iam deeply honored to write the foreword to The Divider Page Is of God!

I have known Joe Gladwell since he was born, almost forty-two years ago, in Redding, California. It has been a pleasure to see Joe grow up into a fellow Christian that has a strong, unwavering devotion to God and God’s holy Word, the Bible. I greatly admire his abilities in preaching God’s truth and his stance to defend it whenever the opportunity arises, as in the following case.

It seems we live in a time where the Bible is being incessantly attacked. The attacks are not only from those we expect—such as atheists, agnostics, and denominational groups—but also from those within the one true church Christ died for. In this writing, Joe shows how some have tried to change the division of the Bible and why we need to be concerned about the integrity of the Bible as translated.

Joe gives us Book, Chapter, and Verse from the Bible, showing us what God’s intentions are in this matter concerning where the Old Testament leaves off and the New Testament begins. The matter of Old Covenant versus New Covenant is dramatically changed depending on where one ends and the other begins.

We are admonished to study God’s Word to show ourselves approved unto God, workmen that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing’ the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

In 2 Timothy 3:16, we are told that All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

In Revelation 22:18–19, we are admonished not to add unto God’s Word or to take away from it.

May we all heed what God has revealed to mankind in his holy scriptures.

    Part One

Part One: My Turbulent Experience with Dan Billingsly

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. (Romans 1:16–17)

Dear readers, I am thus using this very out-in-the-open passage of New Testament scripture as my basis and overall justification to mark Brother Dan Billingsly, at this time, as a dangerous false teacher who should be avoided—just so long as he continues to refuse to listen to the voice of reason. Just what is Dan’s error? Namely that, over the course of many years, Brother Billingsly has insisted that the current division of God’s Word has been erroneously placed, and thus, Dan insists that the New Testament portion of scripture does not begin until Acts chapter 2. I learned of this very man-made doctrine of Brother Billingsly several months ago through my good friend and brother in Christ, Fred Beel, who took over preaching for the old-timer Voyd N. Ballard in Chico, California, once Brother Voyd passed from this life seven years ago. Almost right away did I find the Billingsly doctrine mentioned to be deeply disturbing and highly erroneous.

So at this point you may be asking yourself why it should matter whether the New Testament should start with the very beginning of Matthew or the near-beginning of Acts, given the incalculable value of content that we find from Acts chapter 2 until the end of the Bible. Well, dear reading audience, it matters much! We need to deeply consider that Christ came to this earth for thirty-three years not simply and only to die for our sins, be buried, and rise again on the third day, he also came to give a very significant amount of transitional
