In our life's journey, we face circumstances, make decisions, and elicit responses that lead us into certain unimaginable moments and places we would have never envisioned.

This marvelous life encompasses situations that differ and by far exceed our personal expectations.

Our responses to life's events could trigger resistance at times, and even attempts on our part to understand and make sense of it all—factors that constitute our learning experience and maturity as we live the gift of life.

The knowledge and understanding we derive from our life's experience bring forth growth into our souls and spirits, thus imparting wisdom into our earthly existence.

This book speaks volumes of a man with dreams and righteous principles, who dealt effectively commuting very long distances and facing great challenges in doing so, however, holding tightly to the hand of God. I have been a witness of his arduous journey.

I met Adolfo Gerini during a meeting of our church. He introduced himself during a formal pastoral greeting. Although we exchanged just a few words, I noticed his fervent love for God and his strong desire for service. It was noticeable that he was a blessed, wealthy businessman. After we left the meeting, that impression remained in my mind. Time elapsed without any communication between the two of us; however, I was able to see him from a distance during the church services.

A certain day, a mutual friend, Marcos Fidelau, told me that Adolfo had written a book and that he would like my opinion regarding it. Days later, the three of us met at a coffee house in Rosario. While savoring a delicious cup, Adolfo pulled out of his briefcase the testimonial manuscript he had written.

Dear reader, I would have never imagined that such a formal, successful businessman had such a level of faith and a great life testimony so well hidden within his professional demeanor!

He describes the multiple hardships and crises he and his family had to endure; each one described in the book he wrote. He also detailed the manner in which he faced, dealt with, and overcame each challenging situation, one by one!

Fighting the good battle of faith, he and his wife and children overcame many obstacles and crises in order to attain and fulfill his lifelong dreams.

As a result, he had his inner longings become a victorious reality each step of the very arduous way and each challenging season of their lives.

During his struggles, this man demonstrated a genuine, solid faith in Christ Jesus, his Lord, whom he believed and trusted wholeheartedly. Of great value in my estimation is his wife, very faithful and willing to join forces with him in the good times as well as in the bad ones. His children were also under submission and willing to abide by the directives of the Captain of their ship that navigated through fair weather, calm seas, and prosperity as well as when facing turmoil and fierce storms that threatened perilously to bring down and cause utter destruction to the entire family.

In synthesis, his writings reveal the faithfulness of God toward his children as they put their trust in him; a very real, merciful God that will deliver the needy in his distress when he cries to God for help.

It is relevant to emphasize the fact that the miracles experienced by this man and his family occurred outside of a religious domain, a temple, or through an anointed minister. Instead, the Lord performed through a simple man, a plain worker who had an encounter with the Holy Spirit, thus receiving his great manifestations in the most basic matters of life; in his home, at work, in
