The Diminution of Hope - Tony Hirner

    FIRST OF ALL

ow that Lucifer and our God in heaven have embarked on this sort of accord that has been wrought, there is a certain prophecy that comes with this whole agreement. The prophecy has to do with the idea that man can put others above himself in a selfless way, and also it has to do with the angels. It has to do with whether they are truly good and understand why God’s plan exists or if they are merely doing what God says out of fear of being cast down to hell. Do they really know what their role is? Do they have the ability to decide if they are going to be loyal? Are they just going through the motions of their existence? These are questions that have come to center stage. Therefore, in order to prove man’s selfless heart and true purpose, we go through hundreds of years of struggle and turmoil in order to reach the desired elucidation. That is why we turn to the family of Noah from the bible to show us the true characteristics of faith and hope and grace, glory, mercy, justice, the will of God. Also patience. Truth, joy. And the greatest of these things, love. After all what other figure in the bible more completely gave his life to serve God’s plan? Noah gave himself in a whole and totalitarian way that really is only seen with him; no one else had to go through completely starting all of society over again. The prophecy will lead us to a little girl and her uncle. The girl is the Quantum Soul whose name is Sunny Finnel, who will battle the destroyer of worlds. Her uncle, the selfless man whose name is Arnon Finnel, or Uncle Arn. will prove that man is able to turn his back on everything that he could ever dream of in order to preserve the well-being and happiness of another, and no less than everything in existence is on the line. Don’t tell Lucifer this, but it’s not that big of a deal really, because the reality they are in is entirely in Freddy’s dream. So even if he wins, he really doesn’t win anything. Except king of a certain dream land.

The next thing to please keep in your mind is that Freddy is having a dream. It isn’t reality. He is dreaming of the tragedies in his life, and everything he ever read or learned is influencing his dream. He has read a lot of different things in his studies of theology, and a lot of those things are not Biblically based so please don’t drag the writer of this story to a pile of wood that you’re planning on burning with a stake at the center of it, and don’t tie him to said stake. Then please above all else please don’t burn him at the stake; if you don’t like the book please put it down and quit reading it. If you use the book as firewood that’s OK, just make sure you pay for it at the store; don’t steal it, and don’t burn library books. Do you really want to be that crazy ass in your neighborhood who does that kind of stuff? If you do, I’ll simply turn you into a crazy character in one of my books and write about your monkey-ass antics. And I promise the name I give you will be unpleasant, like Crazy Anus the Wart Person with Monkey Toes. Or Toad-Faced Greta. Just save us a lot of trouble; don’t be a crazy monkey anus toad face.

    THE PROPHECY OF THE

    QUANTUM SOUL AND

    THE SELFLESS MAN

    T

here shall come from the lineage of Noah a prophet who will be called the Quantum Soul who will possess certain abilities to fight the Destroyer of Worlds with her pure heart and without want for her own needs. She shall be accompanied by a man who will be so selfless that he will give up no less than everything in the universe to benefit the well-being of others. To be clear, the selfless man will have in his possession the entirety of everything that exists and because man has the ability to do good for others he will be the measurement of one who sacrificed everything for another individual. If he fails to do this all of creation will be traded to the enemy of God. There will come a battle between the selfless man and the Destroyer of Worlds, in which fight there will be at stake four wishes for anything that the winner desires. If in the end the selfless man can resist his own urges after he wins these wishes and use them to save humanity, all life will be restored in good Faith to God

    LET ME JUST SAY THIS

    T

he plan was ingenious and flawless. Exactly like everything else Yahweh ever does. When Lucifer was created, Yahweh needed an opposition who would challenge everything he did. This is a proving technique: the opposition would doubt Yahweh, then Yahweh would prove to be perfect, and the opponent would ultimately be the one who made it clear just how perfect Yahweh’s plan would be. That’s why Lucifer was created as the most glorious angel Yahweh had made up to that point. He was known as Helel, which meant the bearer of light. He was so glorious that other angels started following him, which caused him to be kind of full of himself and eventually led to him wanting to be the true God of everything. His pride in his beauty was so great that he thought everyone would follow him and leave Yahweh. This is why he rose up with his followers and he was cast down into shame and filth for the rest of time. His beauty would now be a thing of the past. One of the things that is written about what Helel did while he was an angel is that he tried to expand his army by creating Nephilim. These powerful children of angels were really not made in lust; they were made to eventually fight in a war against angels to try to conquer heaven. This is something everyone should know. Pay attention to my next words. This is fact number one: Yahweh cannot be surprised, or sneaked up on, or secretly plotted against. He made Helel. He did not do it by accident; he did not make a mistake. Yahweh knew from way before the beginning of our time how it all was going to play out and that he needed resistance to make the hearts of human beings strong. Also, when humans proved to not be strong enough to resist the onslaught of Lucifer and his temptations—that’s when humans are surely going to need him. This is a slippery topic to talk about because Yahweh is not manipulating us; he is also not lonely or bored. Thus he is not just trying to entertain himself. He is graceful and loving, and we are his children. We are not his pets; our lives are a testament to good and evil and in those two fundamental aspects of the universe one always proves the other. Here is the second real pay attention moment. If you want to be good or have any kind of claim to be good you have to get your goodness from the goodness sources. It is impossible to just be a beacon of goodness from no source at all.

Oh, Tony, don’t worry—I have it covered; my mom taught me to be good.

OK, Brother, where do you think her source of goodness is?

Oh, Tony, she got it from our Grandpappy George.

(Slapping my forehead) OK, brethren, where did Grandpappy get it?

Oh, Tony, he got a deal in the Sears and Roebuck catalog. All the goodness you want for a buck thirty-two. Such a deal, don’t you know?

Folks, you can’t do good things without God. You’re silly if you try, and you will fail. He is truly the one and only fountain of goodness. Believe it or not, it won’t even set you back a buck thirty-

two. Just ask him to help you and come into your life, and then eat, little piggy, eat. Our Lord will feed you his love and mercy all…day…long…I promise you…It happens to me…it will happen to you. And surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life and you will live in the house of the lord forever

hen Moses and Pharaoh started having problems with each other, I think we can all agree that it was mainly because of the treatment of the Jewish people by pharaoh and his people. At the instruction of God, Moses paid a visit to pharaoh and demanded freedom for God’s people. With no hesitation at all, Pharaoh refused. This brought about a display of God’s heavy hand. I wouldn’t go as far as saying it was God’s fury. That is quite another thing. Fury is more thoroughly displayed at Sodom and Gomorra, but God was moved toward using force, and subsequently pharaoh unhappily agreed that the Jewish people would depart from Egypt. Pharaoh tried again to stop the Abraham’s descendants from leaving, and ultimately he fell under the justice of God.

Question…Hey, Tony top tee tap Tony tickity tee. Why didn’t God just smite the Egyptians and give Egypt to the Jews?

Well, folks, that wouldn’t have been much of a story, would it? Besides, what would that have done for the character of the people who would become the Israelites? As it is, the family of Isaac wandered in the desert for forty years, and they were finally led to what they were looking for—once they got their heads out of their rumps and stoped the insane idolatry. The land that God promised was tiers. Tt didn’t happen all at once; the Jewish people needed a little time to realize that they were unable to get their own way and still receive God’s blessings. Ultimately in the end though, they came through as the people God knew they could be. They displayed hope, they had faith, and according to God’s will he showered grace down on them. It’s true that part of the Jewish people’s struggle was due to their unwillingness to adhere to the demands of Yahweh. Thus they kept running around in giant circles in the Middle East doing their sinful things like idolatry and fornication and such. By and by though, they did what they needed to in order to please Yahweh. In the end, what the Jews found was better than what they started with. This ultimately brought glory to God. Of course it was all according to his will and he knew before it started how it would play out. Many centuries later Egypt is a much dirtier and polluted place than Israel. Of the two, Israel is a much better place to live. In short God has a plan and what is ahead of you is better than anything you have ever seen, so keep hope in your heart, have Faith, and pray for grace. And above all else remember the will of God is that absolute nobody can take the blessings he promises you away from you if you have Faith.

In contrast we have Jonah, who thought he knew better than God what to do about the people of Nineveh. Jonah wanted God to smite the people, and God wanted Jonah to tell them to repent so that he could display his grace. As always God’s grace can bring about joy in his heart. In the end Jonah lost that standoff, and God displayed his authority on Jonah, and his will is absolute. That being the case Jonah becomes an example to us of how we are expected to have Faith in God’s plan. Eventually God turned the people of Nineveh over to the Babylonian army but not before he gave them ample opportunity to change their wicked ways. God had patience with them and gave them ample time and warning to repent. Sadly, they did not do that for more than a short time. Often, it seems that, just as in this case, sinners go back to their sin. Thus their ending was sad, because even though it didn’t happen in the book of Jonah, it wasn’t long after that that our God saw fit to let their enemies destroy them and force them into slavery. I mean, when you’ve had enough you’ve had enough, right? I really hope Yahweh never thinks that he has had enough of me. Woe be my soul if that’s ever the case.

fter Jaguar Finnel made the Angels Talon, there were several generations of Finnels that were relevant to the struggle of angels. Jaguar had been a wonderful servant to the lord, and his craftsmanship was great. That being said, even though he built a great house for his family to live in, there came some descendants of his who were tormented slightly by little ribbings and chastisements by Lucifer’s allies. The house was set on fire several times and rebuilt. It had been attacked by wolves, bats, snakes, and ants, and one time even a giant monster made entirely of dirt sat on the house and defecated. The house needed help.

Eventually you come to the year 1852. When Daniel Finnel and his twin brother Samuel were born, they were visited in Boston by the arch angel Seroquel who gave them a medallion that they were to bury in the ground on a certain plot of land outside of town. When the medallion was buried a house grew out of the ground that was named by the angels as Brave House. This is the house that Samuel’s wife went into labor in when Arthur Finnel was born in 1879. This house was a little more storm worthy, and it would take a much bigger attack to destroy this structure. Not that it can’t be done, but it would be harder to do. Also, I promise you that no dirt monster was going to get away with taking a big fat Lucifer on this house. (See what I did there? I’m funny like that.)

Arthur was interesting because in the year 1900 he became a police officer in Boston, where he was the person who broke up a devil worshiping clan that had migrated from Salem. The angels gave him the ability to defeat an evil witch and destroy her family. She was a person who was going to have Satan’s baby and create the Antichrist. She was a very unique woman, and another suitable wife for Lucifer would not come along for about fifty generations and only if the right people mated with each other. One mistake in the next one thousand years and another wife would not come along for Lucifer ever. The humor in the whole thing was that all Arthur had to do was find a way to spoil the purity of the witch who would be the demon momma. You will laugh later when you hear this story; the prince of darkness wasn’t amused though. This just adds to the hatred that Lucifer is brewing over with the Finnel family. In truth, Lucifer didn’t know it, but there wouldn’t be a thousand years left at this point before the end of the world anyway. Sadly, Arthur Finnel did not survive his fight with the Satan worshipers, and he perished in the same battle as the witch’s family was destroyed in. The witch was not killed, but her ability to have the Antichrist was ruined. Arthur was only twenty-one years old and he left behind a son named Douglas Finnel, who was born in 1900 and lived to be eighty and died in 1980. Douglas left behind two sons, Curtis and Marcus, one of whom (Marcus) had two sons, Bastion and his older brother Bruce, who became a priest who would carry on his work against Satan. As for Arthur though he was very much dead in 1921. That really isn’t the end for him, though. God loves the house of Noah, and so Arthur’s identity would be used again.

Aside from all of this, Daniel Finnel was a great uncle of Arthur. The special thing about Daniel Finnel was that he was taken aside by Seroquel and given another assignment. He would go to Yuma, Arizona, and start a family that would shorten their name to Finn. This would give them a little bit of exclusion where they could build a new wing of the Finnel family that would be a little more hidden, like an ace up the sleeve of the heroes. Daniel was Faithful, and he did exactly as he was told, and when he arrived at Yuma, Arizona, he took the medallion that was given to him from Seroquel and he buried it in the dirt outside of town, then a house that looked very much like the house that he grew up in was raised out of the ground. This house was to be known as Faithful House. There was just something Faithful about the Finnels.

The same is true with the Dwyer family, who were descendants of Noah. Edward Dwyer, who was descended from the first Dwyer, named Middo Dwyer, tragically died of influenza in 1918 at the age of forty, but he mysteriously makes himself known in this story as well. Please keep this in mind though. Yahweh always starts his work at the beginning and works consistently through the entirety of his project. This always leads to a finish that is perfect. If it is not perfect now, that means the project is not near completion.

    What did you say, Tony?

I said it’s not done. That is the kicker: our lives are not perfect, but that’s the beautiful part of the whole existence thing. If our lives are not perfect then this life must just be part of a divine comedy, and if you’re in the middle of an inferno then guess what, Dante; there’s more to come and you’re going to be able to find paradise. Guess what, Milton, paradise can be found.

But TONY Tee TIDDLY TONY, only optimists commit suicide and you are sounding right now like you’re about three tragedies away from taking a head dive off a tall building.

I say raspberries. I am not an optimist; this world is not heaven. Bite on this though: I have Faith that heaven is where we want to be when this dung ball pops. So plug your nose while you’re here and try to keep the lord in your heart. Also, if you see that the ocean has opened up to give your enemies free passage and you know it was their God that parted the ocean. Whatever you do, don’t follow them. That salvation is not for you, and you will end up all wet.

hen any construction project in the world gets done people are displaying the character of God, the character that the almighty put into us. Especially the big projects like the Great Pyramids, the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, the Hoover Dam, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Sears Tower are all symbols of the striving heart of man, but men tend to forget who put that character in their souls. (Relax, Emmeline Pankhurst, any reference to men or man also includes all genders, sexualities, genetic alterations, C.H.U.D.s, zombies, mummies, vampires, surgical abominations, radioactive alterations of people, people who are half-person half-horse, -fish, -dog, -snake, -gorilla, -wolf, -elephant, or whatever animal you desire, and non-human identifying individuals who secretly just want a pat on the head. Slap my forehead what kind of world am I living in? Girls are boys, boys are girls, a man can identify himself as a woman and compete as a woman—maybe I don’t get it, because I know God is perfect and he does not make mistakes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m fully aware that I’m going to have haters for my opinionated crap, but I say, Hardy har when you argue with me you’re arguing with a fool. So don’t waste your time with me. Just figure your life out and get with Yahuwah the messiah; he really does fix everything. Oh, my, I missed the exit of my rant back there about a half a mile ago.) The reason they forget who put creativity in their hearts is that they got led astray by Satan. That’s why the devil attacks construction areas with impure thoughts, sexual immorality, profanity, and anger. He knows that when mankind is creative they have the most potential to do his work, so that’s the time to hinder mankind. The plan of Satan is to distract people from God by giving them pride in their craft. This gives them a sense that they are as smart or as talented as they are solely on the basis that they worked hard to get where they are and that it had nothing to do with blessings from the father and furthermore that they don’t owe anyone anything for their success and on top of that that they deserve to be paid enormous sums of currency for their efforts of hitting a ball with a club or putting a bigger ball in a hoop or carrying an oblong ball across an arbitrary line on the ground. This is all while people who walk into burning buildings to save lives or defuse bombs from terrorists don’t deserve as much…Is it just me or are the people doing God’s will the ones getting less pay? Money is a necessary thing, folks—necessary for everyone, not just the people who have given up on God’s plan. The difference is that the people who do God’s work tend to think a little less about how to cheat others out of wealth. They tend to think more about how to be pleased with their own existence and how to leave a positive mark on the world. Don’t be a C.H.U.D.

    OH DEAR!

n 1722 Captain Jacobi Roggeveen and his crew of Dutch sailors found Easter Island in the southernmost part of the Polynesian triangle. The island, which covers roughly sixty-four square miles, was a shock in every way to the ship of sailors when they came upon it, first of all because there isn’t anything else around for thousands of kilometers and second because when they went ashore they found a plethora of evidence of a previous culture that lived on this island. There were hundreds of manmade monumental statues of what appeared to just be giant heads all around the island. It would be found out much latter that the statues were all mostly buried up to their necks, but they were actually full-sized giant men in sitting position. When historians asked how the statues got there, other island people from other cultures said that the island people who once lived there claimed that the statues walked into position. This is crazy balls, or at the very least very misleading. In truth the indigenous
