Stop for a moment and think: Who are you? You will probably say that you are this or you are that, and that is normal; however, it does not really answer the question, does it? It is said that every individual can further be divided into various selves. The you when you are happy is a different self from the you when you are sad. The you when you are at work or with friends is a different self from the you when you are with your family. So, who is the real you? Do you really have your identity?

 

The spiritual life looks into these matters and understands them. After all, you can only have one soul, but which of your various selves is the real you? Do you even have a choice?

 

There are also those who teach that you should let go of all these various selves through the process of self-annihilation. And, only through this process can you really know your real self. It is also worth noting that the world has so many tricks and illusions that you have to deal with. In fact, it is sad to say that so many people these days are already being manipulated by the world; and worse, they do not even realize it. 

 

The I Am of All Things and the None Self is a spiritual manual that will allow you to realize the teachings of the I am, and how this teaching can profoundly affect your life and even create changes in your life as a whole. We will also look into the teaching of becoming nothing. It is said that in this nothingness, one can find the divine self and even have a genuine encounter with Divinity.

 

When you read this humble work, it is kindly asked that you keep an open mind and be humble. You do not have to believe everything that is written in this book, but at least keep an open mind without taking any offense. And, just like the words of Buddha, you ought not to believe but to put the teachings to the test -- and maybe then you will understand their real significance and meaning.
