Access to Italian Pronunciation - Melike Tan
Introduction
Dear Access to Italian Pronunciation Reader,
Greetings / Salve,
My name is Melike Tan and I welcome you to this amazing journey of studying Italian Pronunciation with me.
Now, maybe you already speak Italian, maybe you don’t, maybe you just want to brush up your Italian pronunciation skills. Now that you have decided to improve your Italian speaking skills by reading this e-Book, I thank you with all my heart for being here and I congratulate you for investing in your skills.
First of all, let me start by saying that having an accent is not something you should refrain from. Having an accent is totally fine. It’s fine as long as you get understood and get your message across.
I actually think that a foreign language, when spoken by you, will become unique, just like your fingerprints. So, I am here to remind you to use every opportunity to practice any foreign language by speaking it more often and without hesitation.
By reading this e-Book, you’ll be exposed to a lot of Italian pronunciation tips, which by the way, if you decide to incorporate into your own repertoire, will make a difference in your life and help you communicate effectively in Italian.
I wish to also add that if you go through all the chapters of this e-book full of important lesson packs along with clickable links which will enable you to hear the pronunciation of each word, you will easily get accustomed to emitting that tongue trill for the letter -r, remark how double consonants and single consonants impact both the meaning and the pronunciation of some Italian words, improve intonation, articulation, rhythm and much more.
So, let’s start! / Si comincia!
