About this ebook

Every word that exists has a history. If my language has no history tied to it, then there is no context, no consistency, and no relevance to the respective Culture whose language it has been from the birth of their language however many Scurescoriata earlier; hence, no relevance to/in my novel. My new language, Sepulpá- ê, has a cultural heritage of earthly archetypes.

NOTE TO READER: My dictionary is being published unfinished, but I feel the language is so important to my story, I decided that the reader should have access to this as a resource for learning both the language and the culture attached to it.

Aaron Smylie

Hi. I have been writing for over 15 years, though it is only recent, that I've taken the plunge to self-publish. I have studied English and Anthropology at tertiary level, and theological studies too. I have a great deal of life experience, and employ this in my writing style. If you are familiar with J.R.R. Tolkien, then you may have discovered that my Science Fiction is strongly influenced by his literary works. Another strong influence in my writing is, George Lucus. Please, enjoy my worlds.

    ––––––––

    The Ancient Philosophical Inception -

When a life is lost, memories have a danger of becoming more than a memory. They become a symbol of pain that tears at your soul until there is nothing more than heartache, despair, and sorrow smothered with bitterness. The loss of a loved one should be exalted and honoured with kindness and thankfulness; for the time you had with them is now as great a memory as the moments you shared together. Upon that forged between you is a bond no other can destroy or force you to forget; this is a memory that defines you, now and forevermore. Ensure though, to live in the humbleness of what you have learned and experienced with your loved one; do it with strength of character and praise in celebration of them, for this is how your legacy in generations to come will be remembered.

    ––––––––

    Lessons of the Elders -

Wisdom comes from the lessons of the elders,

Whose blessings are their lives with generations of selfless devotion.

We can all learn something from their proverbs, handed down through the generations,

If only we take the time to heed their words and meditate on their meaning.

    Violence

Violence breeds violence, and this inevitably leads to chaos and ruin

    ––––––––

    Deception

Illusion is the true art of deception, but ill favour for the unwise

    ––––––––

    Assumptions and Undertones

We have a duty to encourage growth and understanding. But when we pause and thoughts collide, chaotic assumptions and diabolic presumptions based on the words of a feather drifting in a breeze whose undertones are both irrational and unavoidable, become the truth by which we base our existence. These things define us in those moments that can transcend into faith and belief: Such wisdom in such a full life.

    ––––––––

    Morals and Conscience

A good Citizen is acknowledged by their Morals and their Conscience; therefore as Citizens, we must live with good Morals and a resolute Conscience.

    Move Forward

I would rather think ahead than look back.

    -  Saying of the Rellaʐontra Anorie

    Sepulpá-ê Source of Intellect

Let myself be the decider of ignorance or intellect,

Let yourself be the judge of neither.

No condemner of ignorance can be respected for intelligence,

For true intelligence is borne of patience, wisdom, and knowledge.

    ––––––––

    Cleverness

Do not confuse cunning with cleverness.

To be clever one must possess intelligence, for one who is cunning cannot claim intelligence thereby and alone.

Intelligence comes from the knowledge of understanding; it arises from education and maturity, not from the mouth of disingenuous proclivity.
