    Mighty Sci Man - Sudarshan

    Prologue

Hello to everyone who are here to join in this exciting journey with me. The existing scientific explanations for various phenomenon around us has intrigued us always. There are many exciting possibilities that are ruled out of the discussion like the second law of thermodynamics which states that a certain source of energy can never be made use for doing useful work wholly. It is expected to be wasted in some undesirable form. I am a person who firmly believe in the idea that any possibility can be made possible with the incredible genius of Human intellect. I am Sudarsan from Chennai out here with this work to prove this very point.

I had also discussed vividly on various stages of friendship people undergo in their life, based on the knowledge I have. In today’s world, we can see people who have lost their faith on their friends and relatives. This sense develops hatred and selfishness among people and this is the very reason why micro-families are more in number than the number of joint families in the world. This causes many mental health issues among people like stress and depression. I Hope that you will be able to understand the necessity of sharing your feelings from your heart to your near and dear ones after completing the journey with our friend, Sudarsan (character from this novel ). The kind of concepts used by our friend Sudarsan to come up with inventions that look illogical might be made possible in the future. The point I would like to stress here is that I have not told that it is impossible. It is possible but it will take some time to happen and such moments become history.

When we are in tough times, we must not forget that we will be able to come out of it. Our self confidence is damn-important in such cases. There are people who are ready to push us into the ditch and pull us down in situations where they are the most needed. Self confidence helps in such cases to stand back happily like before. Hope my humble work here, entertains you and reaches out to you with the right ideas.

    CAUGHT IN NOSTALGIA

It was a dream come true moment for Sudarsan. For what he had been waiting ever since he was a child. Sudarsan was seated in the auditorium where Stanford university had arranged the event. Sudarsan was stunned by the look of the hall. The hall was very large, that it could hold a thousand. It was lit with beautiful golden lamps and people were seated in their respective chairs arranged beautifully. He was invited all the way from Tamil Nadu in India to appreciate him for his efforts in inventing Ultranet, a new device similar to a computer, designed in the form of a watch.

Ultranet is a device that brought in a new dimension in the field of science and technology. It was like a channel to the next level of computer technology. It had the capability to provide solutions for any economic crisis a country is facing, attack from an enemy and it could also be a good companion to anyone. All of this is achieved by the stored data and the long history, the earth had seen before in its database. What makes it different from a computer is the more efficient way of displaying the solution in the form of hologram image, fastness and accuracy. It was made to program and create new reasonable data without user input. Another striking feature, which makes it different is its ability to remodel itself over other electronic gadgets, gizmos and control its machinery. A metallic parasite, in fact. Parasite, of the good sort. To invent such a machine is not an easy task at all and there is a very long story behind it.

The chancellor of the university was giving a speech praising this prodigy from India.

Sudarsan completely lost himself in his past. His recent school days came in his mind. He had a life like any other normal kid in Chennai. His father was an army man. His mother was a house maker. He had really good friends in school and in his neighbourhood as well. Life was going really well.

But the fact he could not accept was that nobody appreciated nor even recognised his success. Nobody praised the success he earned through his hard work rather they were jealous of him and devalued it. He had to put his best efforts for success. He could not understand if it was just happening to him or for everybody. He began to adapt himself to such things. To add on to the troubles, he began to see downfalls very casually. Especially in a country like India with huge population, one has to fight hard to maintain top position. He began to fail in all the works he was doing, especially in researches he was doing. His experiments failed very badly and it became a trouble to the people around him. Nobody was there even to feel sorry for him which added on to his worries. Even many of his school friends tried to portray him as a ‘good for nothing’ case. It was not that Sudarsan was dumb, but out of jealousy and disability, they did that to him. The people around him were ready to congratulate others winning. But when Sudarsan wins, they began to grow more jealous than before. They were ready to make sure that what Sudarsan was doing is not going to work out for him. They advised him to study well, secure good marks , study in a good college and get a secured job, just like any other person. Here the they refers to his relatives and his close friends circle which includes Shal, Calvin, Raghu. Sudarsan was confused whether he was thinking too much and confusing things that happen casually or is it all true ?

Moreover, he was very innocent as well. He was helpless. He also was a kind of a boy who was not able to accept the injustice happening around him. To show the society the right path, he publicized the corruptive events taking place around him at lower levels, by writing articles to the media. His father was instrumental in helping him out in this cause. He openly pointed out the mistakes did by his friends which earned him a bad name of course. In this way he gained bad name among the big shots of the area as well. Nobody of his age were with the skills and intellect to do such things, neither did they had the guts to face obstacles like Sudarsan.

He faced many injustices in his life in almost each and every part of his life. He always wanted to be a scientist and invent machines that could make life easy. More than that it gave him happiness and satisfaction. Accomplishing this task of making scientific technology reachable for the society is not a cakewalk. Like any other person, he wanted himself to be noticed by the world. That turned out to be a very bad character trait for other people. To make things even worse, an incident occurred. People took claim of what Sudarsan did…

‘Here we call Master Sudarsan to receive the INVENTION OF THE YEAR award. We’re glad to present this teen sensation, the award. Give a big round of applause to him’ announced the anchor in the ceremony. Everyone stood to give him a standing ovation. Tears fell from the eyes of Sudarsan which he concealed it quickly. He didn’t want his tears to fall onto the ground.

Sudarsan came to his sense and went up the stage and received the award with pleasure. Sudarsan had goose bumps. He had never got such a recognition before. He lifted the award and expressed his happiness. Later he went down the stage and attended the supper arranged for the gentlemen who had come there.

Sudarsan got back to his memories again. "People took claim of what he did with great difficulty. He was a biology student and did fantastic research on solution for the problem on mosquitoes and disease caused by them. One can raise a question, what is the connection between a biology student and an inventor?

Yeah, he wanted to become a biologist or a medical consultant to some big institution initially. But he was passionate to study physics and astronomy. It may seem to look very weird. But the thing we must understand is that he wanted to be a biologist doing medical research as a profession alone. But Physics is what he studied with real interest for his own satisfaction and didn’t want this to be his profession.

That passion just had no bounds and had come to this stage now. Coming back to that problem…

But somebody else claimed it to be their invention. Yeah, he had to give up. He did not want to make it a big problem. Such problems are very common in India. The wealthy always suppressed the normal people ruthlessly. Sudarsan was just from a middle-class family. What could he do then ? Nothing. What he needed was some support to guide him in a right and safe path, in a friendly manner. At such a time came Abhishek in his life’

Meanwhile in no time, he was at Meenambakkam airport in Chennai. Time has always fascinated Sudarsan, like this. From there, he ordered a cab and went to Selaiyur. It was a great rejoice in the city of Selaiyur, as it was the entry of invention master Sudarsan who had returned from Stanford university in USA after receiving the award. A grand party was celebrated there as well. It was organised by his parents, who cared for him a lot. Sudarsan was happy after all. But something was disturbing him, which made him uneasy. After the party got over, Sudarsan went to his secret lab which he had constructed underground. Yes, he had his own top tech laboratory in his house’s cellar, with rooms for specialised purposes. The lab had some of the great machines which the mankind had never seen. He also did not have the intentions of showing it to others.

    MISSION STARTS

Sudarsan entered the lab to see his cousins, Srivatsan deeply engrossed in designing a plane, Gokul listening to Yuvan’s music beats, Harish playing a video game.

He had called these people for a special purpose for which he has been working days and nights recently. This was not just a work to do but had something to do with sentiments.

Few were called by Sudarsan while Srivatsan came there for his own reasons. Srivatsan was maternal relation while Gokul and Srivatsan were relations of Sudarsan through his father.

Srivatsan was a teenager and was not so tall. He had a wheatish skin tone just like Gokul, Srivatsan and Harish. He wore spectacles that gave him a look of a nerd. Srivatsan was of the same age of Sudarsan-17 and had come there to improve his aviation skills. Srivatsan was with idea of developing a very powerful fighter plane, with all present-day top weapons attached to it. Sudarsan too needed an aviator who can also design planes for a special purpose. Srivatsan and Sudarsan were such close friends. They always used to meet in their granny’s house during summer holidays and they will be at the top of their joy out there. So, he thought that he could be of great help for him in his mission.

Gokul stood tall amongst them. He had a skinny look but that never means he is weak because he was known among this small gang for his strong thumps. Gokul’s father owned a famous race car company. He participated in many famous European car races and clinched victories. By virtue of it, he became a billionaire. Gokul, his son-same age as Sudarsan, was also a car maniac, was the manager to be of company. Harish was a dreamy boy from a township of Neyveli in Tamilnadu. He was a sidekick of Gokul and was also the cousin brother to Gokul and Srivatsan. Harish, a 10-year-old kid had a special liking for cars. His inspiration was his own cousin, Gokul the billionaire. So, he too came there with him.

These people came there to help Sudarsan out to help him out in a very big problem.

Srivatsan knew that Sudarsan always hangs out with adventures all time. Like olden days in summer holidays, of course. They had gone on to investigate a haunted house near their granny’s house all alone, searched for the lost cricket ball, they had hit before, for miles and a lot more. He could not afford to miss one this time, knowing the help Sudarsan had asked for.

Sudarsan wanted some support especially this time, to face problems. It is always good enough to face problems as a group rather than to face it alone.

‘Sudarsan faced many such problems in life. At such a time came Abhishek in his life. Abhishek was a boy who never knows how to get angry at anyone and could be a great companion for anyone who needs just a helping hand. He encouraged him in his works. He gave a kind of positive energy, a kind of impetus Sudarsan very badly needed.

Sudarsan long term goal was to become a great scientist and become a part of government’s space research commission. Though he was a biology student, he had real interest in astronomy and wanted to do space research. He studied a lot of astronomical books and had improved his knowledge these many days. Real independent studies without external pressure to excel exams or to be the top, does really work out well in anyone’s life.

Sudarsan was slowly taking new form. He was building his own lab at that time. Sudarsan brought his good old friend Adithya, in order to provide him with opportunity to expose his talents. He got a new team comprising himself, Abhishek and Adithya. Sudarsan took care of biology related researches while Abhishek took care of robotics aspects guided by Sudarsan. Adithya took care of creativity part of combining the ideas of the other two efficiently. In this way, a strong bond grew between Abhishek and Sudarsan. They travelled across world called by many famous institutions for conducting workshops for encouraging more new talents dealing with biotech and space research.

Adithya was a very interesting person. He was a man of brains. He had the ability do the unimaginable. Out of the box thinker. Adithya never lets his rivals in peace. He used to send his replies in the form of his gizmos. He goes to any extreme when it comes to dealing with his enemies. But he was also a person with virtues and abided by truth. Sudarsan had already planned to have such a genius in his team.

One such time, a turn of events took place. They were called to Sydney in Australia to give a speech to the school students out there. That was the time when Sudarsan was gaining attention. The people had some idea about the brilliance of Sudarsan. The minister of North Sydney council made the necessary arrangements, when he saw one of the research papers published. He liked it. While Sudarsan was staying there, Sudarsan read an article about time travelling machine. A smile came up on his face. He read on and on…

…and the last line read ‘time machine is just good for writing a good fiction but does not suit the reality"

    Really ?

Sudarsan could not accept such facts. He believed that human is born for making impossible, possible. Moreover, he was very interested in inventing one when he was small. He had always had this question of how things looked when it all started. In the sense, he wanted to know, what, when and how was the beginning of the universe ? If we raise such questions, the response would be like demotivating. It’s just clueless to understand how people are always ready to oppose
