    Imaginist - Cathalson

    Before You Imagine

Through shadow and light, curiosity amid a bit of fright, accept as true this prose. See myth and legend, exist in a wondrous land. Envisioned without end, by a simple writer’s hand.

A mind fills empty paper, such a wondrous caper. Accept as true this prose. If you just believe, trust in your mind's eye. These words shall conceive, a fantasy alive. Dragons shall take flight, in dark caverns torches light. Accept as true this prose. Before you imagine, forget all you know, let the journey begin, and away now you go.

    Succubus

Their laughter is full of disaster. Leathery wings beat, as light does retreat. Their skin alabaster, cold as winter, a devilish treat without heartbeat. Fangs, fury, and horrid yet lustful squeals. In unholy glory, the dark reveals.

Succubus, Succubus, painful and passionate. They are beauty’s one regret. Cursed, cherished, and love perished. Tonight, I die in their den of lies. No chance to fly, none will hear my cries.

    Moonshift

Into the darkness I walked, not sure where I had been. I was lost among the evergreens. The moon was on high, in a darkened sky. A curse deep in my veins. The tear of flesh, and pale lace dress. A shape unforeseen, hunger risen upon. A desire for innocence strong. Madness took me in. I ran free. I was not me. Lupine and hungry.

    Fields of Blood

Honor and solace, during war. There I was draped in bloodied gore. I saw the glint of steel, while the wind was perfumed with death. I heard the screams all about.

For King! - For Land! - Rise to battle! - Rage for more! There upon ancient land. Death welcomed us all.

    Hunter

Ablade of silver, a blessed crucifix, all for when

I am in a fix. A trail of terror left villager’s faces pale. I
