About this ebook
Where is Romania? Have you heard of Dracula? What do the colors on their flag represent? Join three children as they tell you about their home country, Romania. I wrote this book because I want to share the cultures of the world with young generations, which is why I chose to start this series. I have always loved and respected people and places from around the world. I hope these books will teach others about how different and yet how small our world really is.
Jamie Pedrazzoli-Bach
Jamie Pedrazzoli lives in Florida with her three daughters. She enjoys doing things together as a family. They enjoy camping, going to botanical gardens, and of course going to the beach. Jamie took a year of art classes at Vero Beach Center for the arts museum and has always loved drawing. She also loves animals and has always wanted to write a children’s book.“I hope you enjoy this story and read it many times with your loved ones” Jamie says. "My reason for writing this book was to shine a light on how important sports can be for young adults. If I didn't have sports in my life I would have probably gotten into a lot of trouble."

Romania - Jamie Pedrazzoli-Bach
In this story, you are going to meet three children from Romania who live in different areas. You will learn a lot of things you didn’t know and perhaps some things you already did. Look for similarities in traditions and customs from the Romanian culture and compare them to your own.
I did my best attempt to demonstrate the pronunciation of the Romanian words in (parenthesis) throughout the book. They were pronounced by authentic speakers; however, my English ears may not have heard the correct sounds.
Buna (Boo-Nah), or Hello.
Numele meu este Lavinia Marinescu (New-mel-ay May Es-tay Lah-vin-ee-ah Mar-en-es-koo) or My name is Lavinia Marinescu.
I am from the County of Romania. Have you heard of it?
Romania is located in Eastern Europe. We have Ukraine to the North, Moldova to the East, Serbia, Bulgaria, and the Black Sea to the South, and Hungary to the West.
This is the shape of my country.
WHY DON’T I TELL YOU a little about what to do in the
