A Christmas Robbery
()
About this ebook
This FREE short tale takes place between "Interlude" and "The Road to Christmas", both of which are found in The Christmas Cabin (Write Crowd Publishing, November 2022.) While The Christmas Cabin stands on its own without this additional tale, I wanted to offer my Patreon supporters (and folks who preordered the book) an extra adventure in advance…an appetizer, if you will, for the meal to come.
Dylan Drake, the protagonist of this little fantasy, is a frequent flyer in my fiction, popping in and out of stories—sometimes named, sometimes not—doing his level-best to bring hope to the hopeless and a bit of help in times of need. For Lonnie Bertrand, spending his Christmas manning the cash register at the Gas-n-Grits, he just might be a bit of both. Read on!
(And don't forget to pick up a copy of The Christmas Cabin. It makes a lovely holiday gift!)
