Dedication

This work is dedicated to some of the people in my life who have helped shape my spiritual journey in Christ. I am grateful for each one because they poured into me what God has poured into them: truth, love, and grace. Listed in no specific order, I chose to start with the two amazing people who raised me!

My parents, Robert and Rebecca Nutting, who, from my earliest memories, taught me the most valuable truth anyone can ever be taught: Jesus loves me! I am so grateful for all the prayers you have prayed for me and the times of family devotions when I was a child. Thank you, Mom and Dad!

Randy Gariss, who taught a Saturday morning class that inspired me to read, pray, and journal through God’s Word daily. I am a lover of God in a deeper way because of what I learned that Saturday morning in 2004. Thank you, Randy.

My husband, Everett, who prays for and with me every night before I fall asleep. This gift is a treasure in my life. Thank you, babe.

My daughter has been the clearest, most honest human voice in my life, saying things I knew were true, even when I didn’t want to admit them. You are the iron that sharpens iron. Thank you, Alex.

My son-in-law, who never stopped asking me when I was going to get my book done so he could read it. You will never know what it means to me that you have supported the dream God put in my heart. Thank you, Josh.

Monday 2020 prayer group is a group of women mighty in the Lord. I honor you in this book as my core community in this writing process and spiritual journey. Revival is coming because we pray!
