About this ebook

Contained in this volume of work are spontaneous prophecies as captured roughly over a span of 15 years from the year of Lord 2005 to 2020. Most of them were transcribed from audio. In revisiting the prophecies to edit them for spiritual consumption and edification, I tried to remain as true to the scope, magnitude, purpose and spiritual shades and nuances of the word as was given by the Lord at the time of utterance. The collection of prophecies is in essence a cry from the Lord for people to know, seek and find their purpose in Him. It is a deep unto deep yearning for us to again become intimately, intricately and wondrously aware of His greatness, goodness, glory, might, power and beauty.

[HEREIN IS TWO VISIONS that are related – each shall be mentioned and the interpretation as given by the Lord]

The first vision is of a cross, hovering over the face of the earth. It casts a huge shadow over the continents and it is poised to drop into the hole so that it shall stand firm and true – planted, erected and everlasting. For I then saw the cross standing on Golgotha, and the Lord said Look, what you see, and I was shown that the cross of Jesus connected heaven and earth. I was also made to understand that the four corners of the cross connect to the four corners of the world. And then I was shown how the cross that floats across the face of earth falls into its set place, and an earthquake shakes the planet and the earth opens up and the line where it opens runs through every church, every land and nation and tribe. As the cross of Jesus was planted and as our Saviour died, so the earth was shaken, darkness descended and everybody knew this is the Living Lord.

And this I understood by this vision – the Lord is getting ready to plant the cross, therefore, Jesus, firmly and securely back in the foundations of the church and in the hearts of men. He is getting ready to make such a huge statement for Jesus needs to be planted in our midst for it is all about Him. And indeed, Jesus is the Risen One, but the price of our sins and our iniquities was paid for us on the cross. Jesus on the cross is our Redeemer and Saviour. We cannot get to the resurrected Jesus without first knowing the Redeemer on the cross. We have to remember that Jesus died not just because of sin, but also to show us that there are definite and clear consequences of following our way above God’s and that there are definite boundaries between right and wrong.

The cross highlighted the definite and clear ramifications of sin and what sin entails and how it separates us from God. By taking away the cross we take away sin, God’s spiritual laws and the boundaries of right and wrong. God’s laws are fulfilled in Jesus and so we have a choice to live either to His holy way or our impure ways. The cross reminds us that we are man and He is God and without Him we are condemned. Without Him we are slaved, broken by sin and ensnared in darkness. Only by His death and Blood are we set free, redeemed and restored.

And I was made to understand that the Cross on Golgotha is the re-establishing of the ladder of Jacob (Genesis 28:11-19). Jesus is the anointed Rock – He is the capstone of our foundation, just as the cross should be our foundation. Jesus’ death opened up the path between heaven and earth – His death destroyed the veil that separated us from God. His death established a ladder and a way for us to descend into heaven and the throne room. Jacob’s vision of a spiritual ladder sparked spiritual activity as angels descended and ascended the ladder. Jacob called the place Bethel, which means House of God. And just so the cross and the Blood opened up a spiritual pathway between us and the Living God. And just so the cross and the spilt Blood and Water encapsulate the House of God for Jesus is the head of the Church – He is the doorway to heaven and He is the gate and He is the Sheppard. Only through Him, via the earth through the cross and the Blood, can we reach the Father’s heart. There is no other way.

At the time of Jesus’ death, a massive earthquake shook the city of Jerusalem and the temple was also shaken to its core. And at His death, the whole world knew this was God for there was a display of manifested power. There was also a resurrection of souls as the earth opened up its belly. Just so, as God firmly plants Jesus, who is the Truth and Life, into our spiritual foundations and also into the church and the world, we will see a spiritual and physical shaking of all things. God is getting ready to shake the old order and topple the foreign and ungodly altars and idols. He is getting ready to shake man out of His slumber in preparation for the coming of His Son.

And just so, the physical and spiritual shaking will be known and seen globally, manifested en enshroud in power, so that the world will know that God is Lord and Kind – just as in the days of Jesus. And indeed, there will be a spiritual resurrection as the lost and spiritually dead receive God’s breath and begins to inhale and exhale again. This indicates revival and spiritual rebirth on a grand scale – but this will be done in God’s ways. This resurrection indicates restoration – but it will be done according to God’s way. But I believe this also indicates a physical resurrection so that God will receive the glory and the honour. We need to get ready for a display of manifested Kingdom glory and power so that man will be left without a doubt as to who the real God is.

And so I saw the four corners of the earth being connected to the four corners of the cross. And I understood that the four corners represent Creation in its entirety, man included, and how all things of Creation from all the lands flow back into Jesus. Jesus upholds Creation and by His Blood, the Creation is redeemed, restored and connected unto Him.

And so in Jesus, we flow into Him and Him into us – He upholds all and He upholds us. We are connected by Blood and Spirit. And in Him, we have received the Spirit and so we draw close to the Father, redeemed, restored, healed and delivered. Praise the Lord!

And now for the second vision. I saw a cloth, not a scroll, descending from the sky, or heaven I don’t know, and it rested on a tree. The cloth was soaked in vinegar and when it got entangled in the branches, the tree absorbed the vinegar. The cloth then lifted up from the tree and it caught fire and the flames consumed the last remains of the vinegar.

And so in seeking the spiritual understanding of this vision, the following interpretation was given to discern. For Jesus is the Tree of Life. When we come to the Tree of Life, we are soaked in the vinegar of sin – we are filled with bitterness and poison. Vinegar is another term in the Bible used to describe tainted and impure wine. Our condition before salvation speaks of Isaiah 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

Jesus died on the cross and when we come to the Lord then He becomes rooted and entangled in our lives. We are thus planted in Him and Him in us. He is our Tree of Life. When we come to Jesus to be spiritually reborn, we find by the action of His sacrifice on the cross that absorbs our bitterness, our poison and our spiritual fallen condition, which is like vinegar.

We read in Matthew 27:48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. On the cross, Jesus drank the vinegar as a prophetic action of absorbing our sins, our poison and our bitterness. He died and His blood was shed so that we can be free and redeemed."

We also read the following account in Exodus 15: 22 Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they travelled in the desert without finding water. 23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.) 24 So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, What are we to drink? 25 Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. 26 He said, If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you. 27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water.

The action of Moses was prophetic. It says in Jeremiah 23: 5 The days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.  When Moses threw the stick in the water, we find that the stick absorbed the bitterness [poison, vinegar] out of the water so that the water can become safe to drink. This action was followed by the declaration that God is the Lord who heals and delivers. And so when Moses threw the branch in the water, just so was God the Father pointing towards the days of Jesus, who is the Righteous Branch, who will by His death bring us healing and deliverance. Jesus sets us free by absorbing the poison and vinegar of sin that taint our lives, just as vinegar taints good wine. And by the refining and purifying action of the Blood and Spirit, clean and pure and non-poisoned waters can now flow in us and from us – untainted and non-poisonous. Jesus is the Bread of Life and the Living Waters. In Him, there is no sin or poison, but on the cross, His precious Blood was able to absorb our sin so that we may be set free.

In Numbers 6 verse 3 we read that a Nazarite must abstain from drinking any vinegar. Jesus was a Nazarene, meaning that he was born in Nazareth, but he was not a Nazarite, who is one who takes a vow before God to not touch anything made from grapes, including wine, vinegar, raisins, etc. Nor was a Nazarite allowed to drink any strong drink. They were never to cut their hair or shave their beard. Also, they were not allowed to come near a dead person for it would make them unclean. The story of the Nazarite speaks of a person who is dedicated and who lives holy unto God – one who is separated unto holiness. Jesus, being the most holy one, even though not a Nazarite, would have understood the spiritual implication of not being defiled with vinegar [impure wine] and being tainted by coming into contact with a dead body. But Jesus’ life speaks of the power of His Blood – how His blood is holy and how the life in the Blood is able to absorb the poison of this world and how by the power of His blood He is able to raise the dead from their graves. Vinegar, like yeast, was generally associated with something which is defiled and impure. Yet Jesus, the pure one, drank the vinegar on the cross to make an emphatic declaration that by His death we as sinners can be made pure. By His Blood, we become like new wine in a new wine skin.

The cloth that carried the vinegar, which speaks of our tainted spiritual condition, also relates to the vision as told in Acts 11: 1The apostles and the brothers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. 2So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him 3and said, You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them. 4Peter began and explained everything to them precisely as it had happened: 5I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was. 6I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air. 7Then I heard a voice telling me, 'Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.' 8I replied, 'Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.' 9The voice spoke from heaven a second time, 'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.' 10This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again. 11Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. 12The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house. 13He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. 14He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.' 15As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. 16Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' 17So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God? 18When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

I was made to understand that by the blood of Jesus, and by His resurrected life, we are made clean and pure – Gentile and Jew. The Tree of Life brings us cleansing, hope, restoration and renewal. And so we can also emphatically declare in the words of God that nothing is impure that God has made clean. For those who come to the cross, we are washed clean from our sins. The Blood purifies us, opening up the way for us to be baptized in the Spirit.

And what about the cloth that caught fire after leaving the tree? It says in Matthew 3: 11I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 12His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

And also Acts 2 (the Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost): 1When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

As we surrender and abandon ourselves unto the Lord, we are baptized in fire and Spirit. As the cloth departs from the tree, carried by the wind, just so we are lifted up by the Lord’s winnowing fork like chaff, caught in the wind of the Spirit. And for those who have been dipped in the Blood of the Lamb, they will be soaked in His precious Spirit and Life. The Holy Spirit is Hebrew is also translated as the Ruach, which means breath and wind. And so when we come to the Tree of Life [Jesus], we are lifted up by the Spirit and restored by God’s second breath [the Holy Spirit]. We will then soar like eagles for where the Spirit is the Lord is, there is freedom. In the Blood and Spirit and by the holy we are renewed, refined, made whole and cleansed.

Let us now have a closer study into the concept of bitterness in the Scriptures for we need to understand that our ungodly bitterness [sin] needs to be absorbed out of us otherwise we will continue to walk in idolatry and defilement.

To understand this concept, read Exodus 12: 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or cooked in water, but roast it over the fire—head, legs and inner parts.

Exodus 12 speaks of the Passover when the angel of the Lord went throughout Egypt to smite the firstborns as an act of judgement. But those who had the blood on the doorpost (note the Jews made three markings on the door, which is the perfect picture of the three crosses at Golgotha) were saved. Just so we have the Blood on our lives are saved from God’s eternal wrath. But note the Israelites had to eat the meal with bitter herbs, which was done so that they can remember their bitter slavery, suffering and hardships in Egypt.

Yeast represented corruption. During the Lord's Supper, we are to remember Christ's hardships and suffering and that He paid a hefty price to set us free from our spiritual Egypt. And so today we have communion with the Lord to remember what He did for us on the cross. By His death on the cross, we celebrate our freedom from the slavery of sin and corruption and the suffering of death because He has absorbed the corruption and sin unto Himself. When we remember the sacrifice on the cross, we come under His Blood and Life, and the corruption of our old self (yeast) and our bitterness (old man) is absorbed and nullified by the Glorious Blood of Jesus. And just so as the first Passover of Exodus spoke of deliverance from a plague, judgement and death, so in Jesus we find our healing and deliverance from the plagues of the world and the corruption of sin and the torment of death.

Hebrews 12: 14Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

Ephesians 4: 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

When we walk apart from God, then bitterness as sin and immorality seeps into our soul and spirit. Even after we have come to the Lord, we are called to stay away from bitterness – for the Lord has already absorbed the vinegar of our sins. We read in Deuteronomy 32: 30 How could one man chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the LORD had given them up? 31 For their rock is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede. 32 Their vine comes from the vine of Sodom and from the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are filled with poison, and their clusters with bitterness. 33 Their wine is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras. 34 Have I not kept this in reserve and sealed it in my vaults? 35 It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them."

In the passage of Deuteronomy we are reminded that we must be in Christ (John 15), who is the true vine. Our vines must not be that of Sodom or from the fields of Gomorrah. We read in verse 33 that their wine is the venom of serpents. We know the devil is the serpent so therefore we have to understand that if we live apart from God our wine in us will be pressed from sour grapes [vinegar] and it will cause bitterness. Our roots are then seated in the serpent and so the wine and waters that flow from us are bitter, poisonous and like venom. Venom brings not life but death. Satan is the father of lies, destruction and chaos. His roots and wine like vinegar is bitter and poisonous unto the soul.

Jeremiah 2:19 Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the LORD your God and have no awe of me," declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.

Now, let us read Jeremiah 9: 14But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: 15Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. 16I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them. In Jeremiah 9, the Lord rebukes the people who follow after idolatry and who walk in rebellion, as they cling to the ways of Baalim (witchcraft).

Whereas Jesus feeds us with pure and holy living waters and with the manna of heaven, those who walk not in His council will feed on wormwood and drink poisonous water. Jesus said to Peter to feed His flock. So we are called to feed His flock with His holy and pure truth. If we feed people lies and deceit, we are feeding them nothing more than the venom of wormwood.

Revelation 8: 10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

Wormwood is an herbaceous plant that grows in temperate regions of Europe, Asia and northern Africa. It is like a shrub-like perennial, with grey-green leaves and yellow flowers. Its leaves and roots secrete a substance that restricts the growth of surrounding plants, making it a handy natural way to prevent weeds from growing in farming. Wormwood grows naturally in the arid, uncultivated ground, near roads, fields and footpaths, and in rocky areas. For interest, wormwood is also used in absinthe, which is historically described as a distilled, highly alcoholic beverage. The drink was publicly in the past associated with violent crimes and social disorders. It is not by coincidence that wormwood is also associated with a judgement against immoral behaviour. Those who are bitter and who walk in idolatry and who are dead spiritually will endure the venom of wormwood.

Now, to delve even deeper into the concept of wormwood and bitterness, let us ponder the parable of the sower (Matthew 13). A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9He who has ears, let him hear.

God comes to sow His Word yet the bitterness of life (wormwood), as well as the temptations of the serpent that poisons us with his venom, causes this seed not to grow. For this reason, if we wish to flourish in God’s truth we need to get rid of idolatry, strife, and bitterness and seek to be carriers of new wine and not vinegar. Jesus explained the above parable when he said: 18Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. 22The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. 23But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

Jesus in the parable speaks about the true word that carries no root because of those who have no joy {therefore who are bitter), who worry (therefore who are bitter) and who are troubled or persecuted (they endure not because of bitterness and worry). It is they who rejoice in the Lord, who seek Him, who seek His truth and His Spirit, that will walk in the Blood of Jesus and so will depart from the venom of bitterness and the vinegar of sin. Wormwood restricts the growth of other plants, just so does bitterness and sin restrict the growth of God’s word in our lives.

Then we get a very interesting passage out of Numbers 5 that reads as follows (the test for an unfaithful wife): 11 Then the LORD said to Moses, 12 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'If a man's wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him 13 by sleeping with another man, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act), 14 and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure—or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure- 15 then he is
