We last saw Miss Knightley in Bath, where she developed new feelings for her childhood friend, Mr. Philip Elton Suckling. She anxiously awaits a proposal from him, but whenever he attempts to finally ask the question, something interrupts them.

Now Miss Knightley must leave the neighborhood entirely to help her dear friend Miss Weston prepare for her upcoming nuptials. Together they will take on London, from the finest clothes shops to the most fashionable balls.

Better than part 1, where the heroine meets her hero in Bath. However, I still find her writing cut and dry.

Recommended : meh ?
