Chapter 1

Mimoso is one of the small districts of Pesqueira, in the Northeast region of Brazil. It was January 2019. A cold front invaded the small district of Mimoso causing little Divine and his family to take great precautions. Low temperatures are extremely dangerous to humans and can cause hypothermia, viruses, pneumonia, and other respiratory diseases.

Still early they must get up to start the day's work on the farm Blue Sky, property belonging to the Torres family. In fact, it was a small farm of fifty hectares located at the foot of the Mountain of the Pyrenees, one of the most important elevations of the Brazilian Northeast.

Divine lived with his mother and brothers. His father had passed away when he was just a 15-year-old boy. It was a brutal loss for everyone. Jaime was an extremely strict father with the family, but full of honest and moral ethical values. His main action was to have given part of his land so that the poor of the place could build their homes. But like any other human being, he had great flaws too. He was a man who was a goth, arrogant and proud man. It sometimes hurt family members. But after his death, it seems that everything has been forgiven and he can find spiritual peace.

Life without having a father in your daily life has had profound consequences in the life of that humble boy. He had to mature in every way. He had to support his family in many situations. He had to carry great responsibilities. So, his main life goal was to study and become a man prepared for the job market. He needed to have that focus to envision a better financial situation. He needed to have financial stability in order to plan his life better. So, your choice was public service.

Set his main goal, he began to pursue it intensely. Without shame, without grudges and without much hope, he thought of the great possibility of having a stable career and governed by honesty, love, tolerance, cooperation, and generosity. He was a small light wizard looking for a destiny he did not even know. There was a path before him, but he often shudders to think about giving up. Things were not at all easy. There were terrible mental forces fighting him trying to get him out of the right way. More than ever, caution in these situations was fundamental. Sometimes his thought took his attention all the time. It was as if he was traveling to unknown dimensions. In this place, his most intense desires were possible and fulfilled. One of those dreams was full love. In a world as cruel as ours, it is difficult to speak of affection, affection or even love. We live in an individualistic, selfish, and globalized world. Competition pits us against each other, revealing a cruel face of ourselves. It should not be like this. We were supposed to have a spirit of cooperation. But it is not always possible to achieve this because of the very behavior of others that excludes us without any mercy. This world is too cruel.

The daily toil begins. In the kitchen, they meet Divine, his mother Julia and his brothers Emily and Peter.
