The Magic of Poetry
Introduction
"Kafaï’s poetry is largely philosophic in nature. In verses such as " Who Am I ? " and " Look" , Kafaï explores the origin of humankind .His verse overflows with a deep reverence for the God of Creation. In " Return To Me " the narrator pleads to God ," return to me and with the cool streams of your tenderness irrigate the thirsty desert of my soul" . Indeed, Kafaï often employs metaphor to infuse his poetry with greater subtlety and depth.. The poem " I Love You " fashions its theme of bad love
largely upon the use of metaphor. The narrator of I Love You
bemoans, There were bushes full of thorn in your arid and harsh land /And snakes of empty words bit my heart and my hand
.
Kafaï’s clever turns of phrase infuse old concepts with new life. Additionally, Kafaï’s masterful use of rhythm and rhyme add a musical quality to his verse that is reminiscent of an ancient ballad’s lilt. His combination of end rhyme ,internal rhyme and slant rhyme create a sound that is as diverse as it is enchanting. While Kafaï often explores concepts that are infinitely complex his approach to those subjects leaves an impression of both clarity and grace upon those who read and hear his verse.
Kafaï’s amazing gift of words marks him as a truly accomplished poet .His ability to turn mere language into the music of verse is matched only by his immense insight into the complexities of the human spirit …."
The above text is part of an introduction which was written by The International Library Of Poetry and The International Society Of Poetry; both located in America. They not only wrote those professional remarks but they kindly recorded them in a CD entitled " The Magic Of Poetry " which contains a number of my English poems. They gave me for free one hundred copies of that CD as an award-winning gift for my poem " I Love You "
Also, they honoured me in April 2006 and April 2007 by sending me a beautiful certificate attesting that I have attained the status of:
POETRY AMBASSADOR

not seeing is not proof of not being
there are billions of human beings
on the planet Earth
but I have not seen them all
my not seeing
them is not a proof
that they do not exist at all
undoubtedly
our story
is the same vis a vis the boundless World
in the immense field of the Universe
which has no frontier
we have billions of galaxies
galaxies which are
billions of light years far from us
and inside those galaxies
there are billions of Suns,Moons, Stars and Planets
as well as
billions and billions and billions of living creatures
who are more civilized
more advanced
more knowledgeable
and more powerful than us
the appearance of luminous flying cigars
which more than half a century ago
I saw one of them at night
in the Tehran sky
is a testimony to what I say
a claim
which has crossed over the border of imagination
and has indeed become
a thrilling fact
Undoubtedly
in the fecund field of the Universe
the Earth particle
is not an extraordinary knitted piece
i said particle
because
if we circulate inside the Milky Way
not only we do not see the planet Earth
but the Solar System as well
a Solar System
which is lost
among billions of stars and planets
that are in our galaxy
and if
with the speed of light
we fly for millions of light years
in the boundless Universe
we will not be able to see the Milky Way anymore
despite the fact that it contains many Solar Systems and Stars
it is
sheer selfishness
sheer egoism
sheer
