About this ebook
I sat dumbfounded, taking in the vast sand dunes. In the distance, a few wild camels roamed around, but before they could get close, they ran away, they were smarter than pure camels. Walking low and high for several hours and constantly looking around, I was really tired. No GPS device, no direction, just running like that won't solve any problem.

Little King - Geogre Alva
CHAPTER 1
I sat dumbfounded, taking in the vast sand dunes. In the distance, a few wild camels roamed around, but before they could get close, they ran away, they were smarter than pure camels. Walking low and high for several hours and constantly looking around, I was really tired. No GPS device, no direction, just running like that won't solve any problem. Luckily for me, it's mid-autumn, the weather is dry, but the desert temperature isn't too low, so it's still bearable. However, it was getting dark which worried me. When the sun goes down, but I don't bring any outdoor protective equipment, wandering in the night in the middle of the desert like this, I will die of cold if I don't starve to death.
Closing my eyes, I still feel shivers, the feeling of spinning when I hit the ground has not dissipated. Lazily raising his left hand to look at the timeless clock, he couldn't help but sigh. Still, the third test failed again, although I made more progress than the previous two, this time I landed.
I've been on this timeless experimental project for over a year. As a graduate student majoring in history, my initial assignment was just to work with my mentor, a well-known history professor, to direct the project. But after meeting me, the biologists kept insisting that I conduct the test and their conclusion was that my fitness was completely suitable for the test.
Although there was no shortage of people, all previous volunteers had failed. The expert group let them rest and returned to psychological warfare
with me. As a graduate student, I have the responsibility and obligation to lift the veil of mystery, solve the doubts, and return the truth to history. Go back and experience everything that happened in ancient times, who can do that? And if successful, I will become the first, will be famous in the history books.
I am a girl who is passionate about work, the criteria of my life is: Ten thousand books, ten thousand miles, stories of ten thousand people
. I want to achieve many achievements so that boss
is proud, boss
is the instructor, we students often call our instructors like that. Therefore, without waiting for me to yes
completely, the group of enthusiastic experts quickly pushed me to the test platform.
On my first try, disappearing for less than half a minute, I fell back down. I don't remember anything but extreme nausea and dizziness while traveling through space. All equipment carried, including: 14C detector, GPS navigation, laptop, digital camera, ... were damaged by high-level Latifah radiation. The team of experts drew the conclusion: it is not possible to carry electronic devices. So, after half a tCharmaineg in the hospital bed, I was again rapidly trained in the use of craft tools, the Luoyang shovel (a kind of small shovel used in archeology) among them.
The second time, more advanced, I know it took about ten minutes, but when everyone was so excited, about to have a party to celebrate, I fell with a thud on the grass outside the lab. When I woke up, the image of the streets and the flow of people that I saw as I flew through space vaguely flashed through my memory, seemingly Charmaine-era scenes and costumes. But before I could land, a strong pull pulled me back. The craft tool that I wore on my back was also shattered.
Based on my report, the expert team determined that the experiment could send people back to space two thousand years ago, so I had to review the history of the Warring States period and the Latifah Charmaine period when I was still young. lying on the hospital bed. The wound did not heal, I was raised up, forced to practice shorthand, practice drawing diagrams, diagrams, sketching architectural works. The experts decided not to let me carry heavy tools, only small, handy items.
After learning to draw for half a year, the experimental equipment was improved into a CT machine model. My luggage this time includes a large set of stencils and pencils. Before leaving, my boss also warned me to be careful not to leave in ancient times any indestructible garbage of the 21st century, because that would make it difficult for archaeologists and other scientists. future historian.
And on the third test, I landed successfully, unscathed, because I fell in the middle of a sandy desert. But I realized my dire condition soon after. Not a single person, not a sign of life, after a few hours of wandering, I was still confused as to whether I had reached the ancient world or not. I can only confirm this: I have left the laboratory.
No drinking water, no food, no medicine, because if you carry it, you will be contaminated with radiation when traveling through space. In my specialized Northface backpack there was only a Swiss knife, a compass, clothes, notebooks, archaeological tools, a shorthand pad, a pencil and some silver chips. Nothing can help me right now. Maybe I should just give up and go back. The experts will continue to improve the device and hopefully next time I will get to where the humans are. Unable to hold back, I let out a regretful sigh. But it's getting dark, I have to take my time, otherwise there won't be enough solar power to start the device.
I pulled out the anti-radiation helmet tucked into my Charmaine-era outfit and covered my head, put on gloves, pulled the buckle high, tilted the bulky timeless watch towards the sun, turned the safety pin, mentally count: one, two, three…
Count to ten and still nothing. Keep counting: twenty, fifty, one hundred…
Why is this so unlucky? I pulled on my hat, fixed my eyes on the crappy watch, and remained motionless. Smashing, no response. Raised high towards the sun, continue to be silent. I took off the watch, shook it as hard as I could, the indicator light still didn't show green.
The wind began to rise, the sun was blurred by the overwhelming wind and sand. This damn solar-powered watch! Will I have to die in this unknown epoch, this desert?
I jumped up, pointed to the sky, cursing the group of experts: no water, no food, just these rough, heavy coins, what's the use? Knowing soon that the wind clock would fail, even if I was exposed to radiation, I was determined to bring food and drink. Having been pushed into that windy time machine three times, could it be that I have never been exposed to radiation? I would rather die from choking on contaminated bread than starve to death like this!
I finished the slapping after swallowing a mouthful of sand, the sun quickly went out, and in a few moments the desert would become freezing cold. My radiation vest can also resist the wind and cold, but not the hunger and thirst that is coming upon me. Crouching and crawling up a high sand mound, looking out into the distance, in the darkness of the night, I saw flames flickering in the distance. I have never seen such a warm light!
I don't remember how much time it took to get out of that dark, windy desert, all I know is that when I staggered closer to
