PREFACE
Another book of sharing the faith and poignant memories of childhood and beloved City of Argao, Cebu in the Philippines. In this book, the author, Elmer Abear, touches on science in relation to faith.
Passed down stories of past generations of the Abear clan and their early life in his eyes growing in Argao. The book also touches on politics up until BLM and Covid 19 lockdown. All of these are in short stories for the reader to take breaks and ponder about the subjects. There are a few articles that I contributed about faith, work and giving. The last part in this book is a collection of poems penned by the author Elmer. The poems express the deep poetic emotions of his soul. So, I wish you a happy read.

THE 3RD EYE
Of your body & soul
42057.pngTHE MYSTERY
OF THE PINEAL GLAND
GLAND
The article is only a tip of the iceberg of what the 3rd eye is all about with regards to your body and soul. Anatomically, the Pineal Gland, an endocrine gland (1), is located at the center of the brain.
It joins the 2 halves of the thalamus (2). It secretes Melatonin, a sleeping hormone that influences our sleep patterns, abundant when sleeping and reduced by the presence of light (3).
The lack of this hormone when you are supposed to sleep causes fatigue and tiredness; a higher level during waking hours and drinking too much coffee or any stimulants may cause insomnia (4).
Most if not all vertebrates have pineal gland. To mention one without we have the Alligator (5). Therefore, it is conceivable that this particular animal lacks compassion.
People who lack compassion are primarily like an Alligator: Quiet under water but deceptive, fierce, and brutal if opportunities are opened before him. On the hindsight, they are less dangerous than the ISIS.
For example, when an Alligator is resting on the sand, he keeps his big mouth. He knows he has the best food it could offer to flies. Once his mouth is filled with flies, though he pretends he is sleeping he would suddenly close his mouth and bang! Gourmet food! Heh, heh.
Good, delicious food: if you look at the Alligator’s eyes: he smiles. Most of them are taken in, lucky are those who were able to escape. If you do not call that deceptive, lack of compassion, greedy, and cruel, I don’t know what is. So, you remember if some people are like that - alligators in human form, heh, heh. Be Careful. You could be taken without your awareness, like flies.
Ironically, some people act this way, deceptive, greedy, showing compassion like an Alligator for satisfaction of their greed. Sad to say there are numerous people like this in any government in the world. Plenty of Alligators!
Thanks God, Fox News exposes thru O Reilly’s program so that among the morally right people it keeps his show for 12 years No. 1 at the writing. Nevertheless, some media like an Alligator either justify their moral relativism or ignore it for their own aberrant
satisfaction.
What can you and I say about them? We can say it is conceivable
that their pineal gland is calcified
or hardened and the AMTP which is an enzyme that destroys pathological cells (6) may have been inhibited or simply the lack of it.
The combination of the physical and spiritual within the cell we can safely say, ‘it is the ‘corporal work of mercy.’ The cell is like an empty car waiting for the passengers of ideas.
Hence you and I are no mere matter as Atheist would think but we are creatures of God, the father, saved by Christ and provided a conscience and free will (the essence of love) by the Holy Spirit.
THE 3rd EYE
Know thyself
is the famous legacy of Socrates before Christ. Whether you believe it or not, to know more of yourself is to know more about the spiritually of the pineal gland. Which R. Descartes refers to it as the principle of the soul
and views it as the third eye.
(7)
He further posits the idea in respect of those who find the inconclusive eye of the soul and says, it is a link between the intellect and the body.
It is God’s gift to all of us.
Just as your body has two eyes that you may see ‘one’ at a time, you also have the 3rd eye, you may see one in three aspects of the 3rd eye:
1. FREE WILL:
In triune (likes God’s divine trinity), you see one God in three divine persons. Unfortunately, because of your FREE WILL you and I either choose to know or ignore it for good. Does it benefit anyone to know the spiritual functions of the 3rd eye of the soul?
Your answer is probably Yes.
For Yes opens your 3rd eye thru meditation to the mystery of yourself and beyond. Read the Power of Positive Thinking
to complement its scientific know-how and you will perhaps have clearer evidence of the mystery of the 3rd eye, not to mention the writing of the Holy Spirit thru Thomas E. Kempis based on God’s own word, the Holy bible.
What about if you ignore our 3rd eye? You might widen your vista in the world around you at the expense of the vision of the 3rd eye. Does it not contradict the fact that as I said we see a triune and now it seems we see one in two?
You could be right if I did not mention the gift of FREE WILL in which I repeat: the right to choose between good and evil. You don’t actually see one in two, you still see a triune. But a triune that is not divine. Got it?
Just as you have the 3rd eye of the good soul which makes you and I God’s image and likeness,
the heavenly Father of Truth, you could also have an image and likeness of Lucifer
the light in darkness we call, Father of lies.
It seems God is fair and balanced
to Lucifer, is not it.
Hence, if you are a liar like the 2014 President of the USA who allegedly lied 253 times (source FOX news) then he earned the honor as a child of Satan, Father of Hell. I am not sorry to say that. Neither do I rejoice what I mean. I pray.
For I was there myself, a slave of Lucifer for a long time until I began to know the truth, much more so the information I got from the 3rd eye fixed on Christ. Humbly, the truth sets me free.
In a sense, you seem to have a power more than God and more than Lucifer because through your subtle manipulation you have both gifts, good and evil. Naturally, you reduce truth to
