Preface
I am a retired police officer with just under 30 years of service with a major city in Texas. Most of that time I’ve spent as a beat cop training rookies who graduated from the police academy. In the early years of my police career, I attended a Bible College and began working on my Master’s of Divinity degree. Even as a child, I felt a close connection with God and wanted to serve Him. Christianity/Jesus was presented to me as the template by which to have an intimate personal relationship with God. I signed on the dotted line and became a ‘born again’ Christian at the ripe age of 17. The problem with most Christians is that they never read the front of the book (the Hebrew Bible a.k.a. the Old Testament) It was because I read the front of the book at length many times over did I begin to question the foundation in Christ that I’d embraced. As a former Christian and a convert to Judaism, I felt it incumbent to share my knowledge and experiences with anyone willing to listen. This e-book is really just a sampling of the theological mountain that needs to be addressed regarding the Christian scriptures because they are truly a theological crime scene.
If you were to discover that the stories and events surrounding Jesus never happened, how would you as a Christian respond? Or if you are thinking about becoming a Christian, how will this effect your decision? The gospels are not just a set of benign books for casual reading. The
